Chapter 22 - Sickness (3)
An Yun felt a little uncomfortable after making the lip balm yesterday. However, his body never felt comfortable, and since he had worked for so long, he thought his body was simply tired. He had worked too long, which made his already frail body even more uncomfortable.
Therefore, An Yun did not take it seriously but went to bed early, thinking that if he went to bed earlier, all the discomfort would be gone when he woke up the next day.
Who knew that An Yun’s sleep was not very peaceful. Even though his body was tired, his mind was still awake. He was struggling between half-dream and half-awake and even had a long and bizarre dream.
An Yun dreamed about his previous life, the day he was sent to the orphanage, the time he struggled to get into college, and the good and bad people he met.
Finally, An Yun dreamed that he stepped into the air and fell onto the scene in an ancient brothel. He was dressed like the oiran he often saw in TV dramas, sitting on a high platform for people to watch, and for those below to laugh and joke.
An Yun sat there, listening to those people discussing his price, looking at their disgusting faces, and talking about how to play with him after taking the bid.
An Yun wanted to escape, but the red silk around him was like a flowing rope, restraining him from going anywhere.
An Yun was very scared until he suddenly saw Zang Ya, wearing a red robe, walking casually from the door and then meeting his eyes in the next moment.
Immediately afterward, An Yun was bought by Zang Ya. Everyone in the colorful brothel disappeared in an instant, and he and Zang Ya arrived in the same room.
An Yun was tied naked to the bed, and Zang Ya, wearing a red robe, had his usual expressionless face.
Zang Ya slowly walked up to An Yun, and under An Yun’s fearful and uneasy gaze, he reached out and touched his face. Then, under An Yun’s worried gaze, he took out a needle and stuck it all over his body, causing pain.
The pain was so severe that tears burst from the corners of An Yun’s eyes when he received the first needle.
An Yun opened his eyes suddenly and saw Zang Ya standing in front of him.
An Yun did not know what was wrong with him. He only felt that his head was dizzy, his body was hot, he was weak, and he felt extremely uncomfortable.
He did not have time to process what was happening and could not understand why the person in front of him was there. He could only blink his big, slightly misty eyes and stare at the person in front of him innocently.
“Did you wake up?”
Zang Ya withdrew his hand and asked An Yun with a bit of righteousness, but the hand behind his back gently twisting unconsciously, as if he was feeling the smooth and tender touch when he had touched An Yun just now.
Just after Qing Yue reported An Yun’s accident to Zang Ya, Zang Ya learned what had happened.
It turned out that the maid who had been waiting for An Yun arrived at the door today, but the person who should have been up early did not move for a long time. After waiting for a long time and receiving no response, the maid finally could not help but call out twice. When there was still no response, she panicked and pushed the door open.
Upon entering, she discovered that An Yun had passed out due to a high fever and was laying on the bed, unaware of anyone else.
Seeing this, the maid naturally did not dare to neglect the situation and immediately ran quickly to tell Qing Yue about it.
Qing Yue was also shocked when she heard this. She knew that the young master behaved differently to this little shuanger, so she sent someone to invite a doctor. Then, Qing Yue came to see Zang Ya in person and informed him that An Yun was ill again.
When Zang Ya learned about this, his usually calm face showed a bit of anger.
Zang Ya felt that the pet’s illness was a sign of contempt for his care and the effort he had put in during this period.
Since it was contempt, Zang Ya was of course angry. He thought he had done enough for his little shuanger and had raised him carefully. For this reason, he even consulted people on how to take care of this pet. As a result, this little shuanger’s illness had not yet recovered, and he was now suffering from a new ailment.
When Qing Yue cautiously told him that she had consulted the doctor and asked Zang Ya not to worry too much, he suddenly stood up.
Then, under Qing Yue’s surprised eyes, Zang Ya said that he wanted to see what went wrong in his steps of raising pets, which had led to this illness.
So, Zang Ya quickly came to the courtyard he had never set foot in since An Yun moved in.
.
The moment Zang Ya entered the door, he was still a little hesitant. He subconsciously covered his chest, and there was some hesitation on his face.
“Young master, what’s wrong?” Qing Yue followed Zang Ya and was a bit confused when she saw him in such a state of being unable to advance or retreat.
In the past, when he met An Yun, his heart would feel strange, but now there was no reaction. Zang Ya could not help but relax a little. He put down his hand and said coldly, “It’s okay.”
Then he strode in quickly.
The room, which was originally quite large, now seemed a bit lively and crowded because of the maids and doctors who were seeing the patient inside.
When Zang Ya arrived, the doctor had already assessed the situation. He was stroking his gray beard and mentally considering what medicine to prescribe to An Yun.
The doctor was startled when he saw Zang Ya striding in. He quickly stood up and prepared to salute Zang Ya.
Zang Ya, however, stretched out his hand to stop him from doing so. There was no emotion in his tone as he said directly, “Don’t worry about me, just treat him well and do whatever you need to do!”
The doctor’s heart, which had been racing because of Zang Ya’s sudden approach, suddenly calmed at that moment. “Yes!”
Soon, Zang Ya sat down on the sofa next to him. The little maids quickly brought fresh tea and snacks. Some even hurried back to Zang Ya’s courtyard to fetch some unusual storybooks and present them to him, waiting quietly and diligently.
Because of Zang Ya’s arrival, the room suddenly divided into two halves with completely different atmospheres. On one side, Zang Ya was sitting leisurely, eating refreshments and occasionally glancing at the peculiar storybooks delivered to him. On the other side, everyone was extremely serious and nervous as they worked to treat An Yun.
Half dark, half bright.
The new maid who came in had to stand at the door for a few seconds to find where she should go in the light and dark room, and then continued to do what she wanted to do.
After Zang Ya finished reading a book and drank a cup of tea, the doctor finally finished his work.
The doctor brought his apprentice to Zang Ya, cupped his hands toward him, and said in a gentle tone, “Young master, the fulang’s fever has come down. Let’s observe again later. If the fever no longer persists, he will be fine with a few more doses of medicine.”
Zang Ya nodded and looked at the doctor, who seemed hesitant to speak, as if there were still unfinished words. He didn’t mince words and asked directly, “Say it.”
The doctor looked at him after hearing this, nodded, and then said, “The fulang’s disease can be treated calmly, but it may be cured more slowly. It can also be treated as soon as possible, but this requires more precious medicinal materials. There should be some in the medicine warehouse.”
The implication was whether the medicine should be cheap or expensive.
“Then just treat it as fast as possible. If you need anything, just take my sign and go to the warehouse in the mansion to get it.” Zang Ya nodded, and there was no problem with this matter.
The doctor saluted and instructed the maid who was taking care of An Yun. Then he took his apprentice and left to prepare the medicine.
