Chapter 22 - Sickness (4)
After the doctor left, Zang Ya originally intended to pick up the travel storybook and read the last pages.
Just as he picked up the book, he looked up again and glanced at An Yun, who was surrounded not far away. Finally, he put down the book in his hand and slowly came to An Yun’s side.
When the maid who was originally serving An Yun saw Zang Ya coming, she quickly stood up and bowed respectfully beside him, fearing to disturb her master.
Zang Ya stood by the bed and looked at the person laying under the quilt. Because he was sick and needed to cool down, the little shuanger’s hair was scattered on the white pillow, and his forehead was covered with a white wet wipe. His originally pale and transparent cheeks were covered with powder, making him look like a beauty carved from jade.
The person on the bed looked so delicate, as if he could be broken by a touch, which made Zang Ya feel a little uncomfortable.
Zang Ya’s brows furrowed, and then his hand stretched out as if helpless, and touched An Yun’s cheek.
The moment he touched his cheek, Zang Ya felt the warm and tender touch. In addition of feeling warm at the moment, it was actually felt as comfortable as touching warm jade.
Zang Ya lowered his head and looked at An Yun, who had a peaceful face at this time, as if he were a beautiful painting carved by a craftsman. Suddenly, he pinched the cheek with a little force.
Zang Ya’s original intention was to confirm that the person in front of him was a human being, not a statue carved from jade. Who knew that with this pinch, the smooth and tender feel was so good that he couldn’t help but pinch it again.
Zang Ya even felt that the texture of An Yun’s face was comparable to the texture of the face of the child he had met when he attended the full moon banquet of other people’s children.
Zang Ya suddenly became interested and pinched again in another direction, finding that An Yun was really easy to pinch. Although he looked thin, his whole body was soft and tender, and it felt a little tender and cool, allowing him to carefully appreciate the slightly warm soft flesh.
It was really comfortable to hold, and Zang Ya became playful for a moment, squeezing twice more.
When the maid waiting next to her saw this, she wanted to stop him but hesitated. She could only complain silently in her heart about her young master’s actions, feeling that her young master was a bit of a beast.
Although he usually didn’t do anything, this little shuanger was still in a coma. His young master did such beastly things while this little shuanger was in such a pitiful state.
The maid didn’t dare to reveal even half of her thoughts. Looking at the poor patient being played with by the young master, she could only lower her head and pretend not to see it. Since she couldn’t see it, she wouldn’t feel bad.
Zang Ya pinched everywhere and finally found that this little shuanger’s face was the best place to pinch. The face was round and elastic, and it bounced back after pinching.
So, Zang Ya’s hand lingered there a little longer, and the cheeks, which were originally only a little pink, soon turned into a bright red color.
Zang Ya touched and pinched, and finally got excited and squeezed the little shuanger’s face into various shapes. He thought that although he wasn’t very close to this little shuanger on weekdays, he would definitely miss this touch in the future. He seemed to have to figure out a way to get close to him more often in the future.
With Zang Ya thinking like this, he didn’t pay much attention to the strength in his hand. Inadvertently, it increased by a bit. When he came back to his senses, he could hear a weak protest coming from the bed.
“Zang, Young Master Zang, let go of my face.”
Zang Ya was awakened by the sudden voice. When he looked down, he saw An Yun, who had been unconscious just moments ago. He didn’t know when he had woken up, but at this time, he was opening his eyes with a pair of misty, watery eyes, looking at him.
“Hurt!”
Hearing this weak accusation, which was barely audible even if he wasn’t paying attention, Zang Ya felt a rare pang of guilt when he saw the aggrieved look on An Yun’s face and the redness from being pinched.
Zang Ya quickly retracted his hand, put it behind his back, coughed to cover his guilty conscience, and changed the subject. “Do you know the current situation?”
An Yun only remembered feeling a bit tired the previous day and going to bed early. As a result, he dreamed strange thing all night, and upon waking, he saw Zang Ya in front of him.
Thinking of this, An Yun looked at Zang Ya with increasing resentment. He was pricked by him with a needle in his dream and, upon waking, found Zang Ya pinching his face, apparently quite happy playing with it. He felt a bit aggrieved, as he was obviously sick, and this person was using his face as a toy.
An Yun’s mind was still unclear from the fever, and he felt increasingly aggrieved. The tears that had overflowed from his eyes after being pinched finally fell, and his voice was full of grievance as he said softly, “I don’t know. I just feel that as soon as I wake up, my body feels a little uncomfortable, especially my face, which is a bit painful.”
Zang Ya looked at An Yun, and his feeling of guilt expanded. Finally, he put his hand over his lips and said, somewhat uncomfortably, “You’re not feeling well because you’re sick, so you’ll feel uncomfortable.”
An Yun did not speak but stared at Zang Ya with suspicion. Those eyes, somewhat innocent due to illness, were not intimidating, but they made Zang Ya feel increasingly uncomfortable.
Zang Ya noticed that his heart would beat faster whenever he faced An Yun, even right now which made him frown and his face look a bit ugly.
Zang Ya’s expression darkened, and his tone became stiff. “Since you’re sick and uncomfortable, you should take good care of yourself. If anything happens in the future, just tell your maid directly.”
After saying that, Zang Ya turned around and left.
An Yun stared at Zang Ya’s hurried figure and blinked twice. If he wasn’t mistaken, Zang Ya seemed to be angry just now. But why was he angry? Obviously, the person being pinched was him, and the person being sick right now was also him!
An Yun couldn’t figure it out, and his already muddled mind didn’t allow him to understand. He quickly asked for a bowl of water from the maid waiting beside him and then fell asleep again.
.
Zang Ya felt uncomfortable, and that feeling made him a bit irritable. He strode out of the room. When he was about to step out of the door, he paused, turned his head to look at the little shuanger sleeping on the bed, and then walked away faster and faster.
The next day, Zang Ya did not step into An Yun’s house again but went to the martial arts training ground to expend all his energy for the day.
On this day, the warehouse in the mansion received Zang Ya’s sign and opened the warehouse. Rare medicines were delivered as if they were free of charge. When the prescription arrived, it became the decoction An Yun drank.
