After they moved a bit, Chu Su asked a question. "So what's this purple thing?" she asked as Ariya looked over curiously.

"That, well, that is the core of a beast. It is used to advance in ranks and to make the element stronger," Louk said with a smile.

"Oh, I see," Chu Su said and crushed the core.

She closed her eyes as she felt the energy entering her body. It was pure and useful, though for the amount of energy she needed to advance, this was no more than a drop in the ocean.

"How's it?" Ariya asked as Chu Su opened her eyes.

"Pure, but too little," Chu Su replied as she opened her eyes. Compared to her painstakingly cultivating, killing these creatures and getting cores was way better for her.

"Ha, how did you... do that?" Louk asked in shock. Normally, so far, he had only seen people absorbing the energy, and the stronger they were, the faster the speed of absorption depending on the grade of the core.

But Chu Su actually crushed it and absorbed everything in an instant.

"This... what's so special about me absorbing it?" Chu Su asked with a smile.

"Everything! You're even stronger than my dad," Louk said shyly, his face flushed. The two girls looked at him, but they might be stronger than his dad.

I mean, an S-rank adventurer was terrifying, but Louk felt more excited. He could become something—after all, he was just an E-ranked adventurer.

"Ha, and how strong is your father?" Ariya asked and giggled.

"Sister, you... you actually giggled?" Chu Su said in shock.

"Yes," Ariya smiled and looked at Louk. The more she looked at him, the more she felt close to him. The naivety, coupled with the pure heart, made her feel so relaxed—even the hate toward Void was reduced.

"This is shocking... Master will be very much shocked," Chu Su said as Louk looked at them both.

"Well, my father is an A-ranked adventurer," Louk said and grinned.

"But... hmm, I heard you guys saying 'master'..." Louk said, his mind thinking about it.

"Must be strong, huh?" Ariya asked as Louk nodded.

Ariya smiled and patted his head. "Our master doesn't like going out, so she is not with us. We are just out exploring a new continent," Ariya said as Chu Su looked at her in shock.

"I have never seen her so relieved, relaxed, and happy," Chu Su thought as she inevitably laughed.

"Erm... well, I promise to take care of you sisters," Louk promised as the two girls laughed.

"You, you are too weak," Chu Su said and looked at Louk like a clown.

Hearing this, Louk got angry and raised his fists to the sky. "I will become the strongest then... at least with your help," Louk said, the last part shyly, as he looked at the two sisters with guilt.

"Ha, don't be like that, sister... Louk, senior sister believes in you," Ariya said as Louk's face twitched. Honestly speaking, they looked like age mates, so where did the senior sister come from? Besides, he was taller than them.

"Thank you, but I..." Just when Louk was about to protest, his face was stuffed with something soft, and he struggled to breathe.

At one point, Ariya tiptoed to him and brought his head down for a hug.

"Thank you," Ariya whispered as Louk stopped struggling to pull out.

He strangely felt Ariya's loneliness... the pain that comes with losing your home.

With a stuffed sigh, Louk hugged her back.

"Sister, he is a guy, you know?" Chu Su said as Ariya coughed and let go.

"Master will absolutely be itching to beat you," Chu Su said with a smile.

"Hey... gloating over my future misfortune?" Ariya snorted but still smiled.

The two girls looked at the sky and laughed. They imagined their pervert master gritting her teeth in anger but not being able to do anything.

"Their master sounds like a mysterious strong powerhouse... I'd like to meet her, maybe I can be her disciple," Louk thought as he looked at the girls.

"Okay, we are here," Louk said as they left the forest.

In front of them was a huge city covered with tall walls made from a white, hard substance.

The gates were open, with guards standing by, and people were going in and out.

"Welcome to the Infite City," Louk said with a smile as the girls looked at everything curiously.

They saw a lot of humans in the city buying and selling, with merchants entering with a smile as they brought out objects with some energy in them.

"Those, of course, are magic equipment. They are made from the fur and skin of magic beasts," Louk introduced with a smile as the girls showed a listening expression.

Getting to the gate, the two girls observed the guards. "They are at least at the C-rank," Louk said, observing the expression of the girls. He might be wrong about their strength earlier, but what he saw next showed him he wasn't.

Chu Su walked curiously to a guard and lifted him up with one hand and threw him to the sky.

"An attack!" a guard shouted as the rest came together and surrounded Chu Su, but no one came forward.

She had just easily thrown someone of the same rank as theirs to the sky, and till now, there was no sign of him.

"You... are under arrest," one of the guards said in fear.

Chu Su looked on with a plain expression. She was thinking about her strength, trying to weigh how strong she should be.

"The captain is here," a guard suddenly said after the long silence.

The audience was shocked.

You know, there are only a few Rank A beings in this city, and you rarely see them. After all, they are the core of this city, and the Rank Bs are basically the ones running it. They were—or are—the leaders, and the captain was one of them.

A middle-aged man walked out of the gate with a frown as he looked at Chu Su.

This was because he couldn't see how strong she was. It was either she was a normal human being, or she was stronger than him, but no normal human being would be able to throw a Rank C guard to the sky.

"I greet this mistress," suddenly, to the surprise of the whole crowd, the captain, a Rank B adventurer, bowed to Chu Su.

The guards, seeing this, all also bowed in fright.

They all knew the meaning of this: this mistress was definitely a powerhouse, at least a Rank A being.
