Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion

Chapter 145: Louk

"So according to Master, our first mission is to become a powerhouse with our own organization in this world, and to make it worse, Master didn't tell us anything about this world," Ariya said as she looked at Chu Su.

Their clothes, of course, were armor and all; they were like adventurers in the truest sense.

Currently, both of them were in a forest, relatively close to a city.

"Sister, we should look for a creature we can ask about how this world works," Chu Su said, and Ariya nodded.

"Let's walk to that city then," Ariya said, and Chu Su nodded.

The two ladies started their journey to the city, but just then, the forest shook.

"Help!" A male shout was heard as the bushes rustled, and the culprit came into view.

A male was running in fear, and he was not alone. Behind him was a large beast, similar to a bear but larger and with more fur.

"Sister, he..." Chu Su paused, surprised.

With a nod, Ariya spoke up. "Save him."

Chu Su nodded and moved.

Appearing behind the boy, she extended one finger.

"Freeze!" Chu Su said as the creature froze.

Not done, Chu Su gently tapped the ice, and it shattered.

"You... you..." The boy fell to the ground with a bang, his mouth wide open in surprise.

"That's a B-ranked beast! Who are you guys?" the young man asked suspiciously. They looked the same age as him, so how could they be so powerful?

Ariya looked at Chu Su. "She overdid it," Ariya sighed but still walked toward the boy.

"Erm... sorry, sorry for the questions... thank you for saving my life," the boy said, standing up quickly and bowing down in shame.

They saved him, but the next thing he did was ask them questions without thanking them.

"It's nothing. We did it for you, so repay us with something," Chu Su said indifferently as she picked up a purple core.

The core was shining under the sun, and a massive energy radiated from it.

"And... what's that?" the boy asked in shock. Right now, he was experiencing a lot and thinking about countermeasures.

They both looked like adventurers, but they were at least B rank. That's a powerhouse! Even his father, an A-rank adventurer, told him not to offend B-rank adventurers.

"I hope they don't want excessive things," the boy thought with fear. Although his father, as an A-rank adventurer, was rich, these two were at least B-rank. They could empty his father's treasure house.

"Information about this place..." Ariya said, making the boy's eyes shrink in fear.

"Huh, wait... Are you not from this continent?" the boy asked in shock.

Ariya and Chu Su looked at each other before nodding.

"Oh, I see... Then I will say it," the boy stood up with a smile and breathed a sigh of relief.

"This is the continent X. In this continent, magic isn't something strange or foreign to us. Those who can harness magic become warriors, healers, mages, knights, and so on, depending on their magic. They are given one particular name: adventurers."

"This is because they go on quests to kill beasts, save people, and fight wars. They are respected in every way. Dungeons appear regularly, and it is these adventurers who help solve them."

"Like, for example, I was on my way to a D-rank dungeon with a party when we were chased down by this B-ranked beast. I lost the party, and life and death were unknown, all because a dungeon break occurred. This happens when a powerful being attacks an irregular space..."

"Irregular space causes are unknown to us. I don't know how it happens, but probably the higher-ups do..." The boy paused slightly, catching his breath as the two girls smiled lightly.

Continuing, the boy grinned. "As far as I know, adventurers are grouped into ranks, starting from F-rank to E, D, C, B, A, and S rank," the boy said, finishing his speech.

"I guess the first step is making a name for ourselves," Chu Su said as Ariya nodded.

"Huh? What do you guys plan to do?" the boy asked curiously.

"Be renowned adventurers," Ariya said as the boy stood up excitedly.

"I will help... Dad always said I'm too naive and young and that I can't do anything right. I'll prove him wrong," the boy said happily.

"We didn't even say yes..." Chu Su said, rolling her eyes. The boy's expression darkened.

"His father is right, he is too pure," Ariya thought.

"Well, I think we will need him; after all, we are new here," Ariya said.

Chu Su pondered for a while. "Yes, sister," Chu Su agreed.

"Wait, sisters... you two are sisters, so beautiful. Thank you for giving me the chance to be something," the boy suddenly said, his expression changing. He became more solemn and bowed to them.

"It's no problem," Chu Su said as the boy looked up with bright eyes.

"Boy, what's your name?" Ariya asked. Her golden hair shone under the sun.

The boy was captivated as he looked at them both. He never really got the chance to look at them closely, but now he did.

One was a female with golden hair and golden eyes; her every movement filled with charm and grace. She was truly beautiful.

The other was a bit cold, but nevertheless, her beauty was out of this world. She had black hair tied up, unlike Ariya, and her frown and smile could leave any man breathless.

"These two sisters are so beautiful," the boy thought with a bright smile.

"My name is Louk," the boy said with a smile.

"Well, lead the way, Louk," Ariya said with a smile as the boy nodded.

"Okay, follow me, sisters," the boy said happily as he walked forward.

"He can be trusted," Chu Su said, her accumulated suspicion dissipating.

"I know," Ariya said with a smile. A boy with such a pure heart reminded her of herself. She was once like that too. Before her world got destroyed... she knew it, and she could feel it. That demon, that being, Void, knew something about her planets 's destruction.

She didn't know why, but she unconsciously hated Void. And in the true sense, she wasn't supposed to hate him, but her world consciousness put that in her before it was destroyed. After all, worlds aren't just those who don't want to be avenged they are living things too.

And also, her potential came from the sacrifice of the world to her.

One thing about worlds is that they are cruel, but they protect their creatures with everything in them.
