POV AIKO

After three days, three days of being taught to act like a high society member, we began to make our way to the Schnee manner.

But before we can talk about what happened, we need to go back a few hours ago.

*Harp music and ripples.*

"What?" Was all I asked while looking at James and the ace ops, the four of us were confused.

"You heard me, I and the ace ops will be acting as your guards, we don't want the problem to escalate any further." He said while glancing at Sienna and Ilia.

The two of them just rolled their eyes but said nothing. But I had to agree with his idea, since not only will we be kept in check, none of the people at the celebration will try to do anything to us.

Unless they try to insult us verbally, they wouldn't try to harm us physically. Sienna just sighed, but nodded her head at what James was saying.

"Fine, since it looks like we have no choice." James nodded his head in appreciation and sighed.

"I want to make sure that the environment at the celebration is calm, and with you four being Faunus's, no offense, tensions will be high." The four of us nodded our heads, but Sienna spoke up.

"And what happens if your ace ops can't defend us?" Sienna asked, James was hesitant but sighed.

"You are free to defend yourselves." He said with a defeated voice, Sienna just smirked and raised her head slightly.

Seeing her act smug made Harriet click her tongue in annoyance, seeing her act like this, Elm began to tease her.

"Relax, you don't know if you'll be the one being saved." She said while nudging Harriet, Harriet punched Elm in the arm, but she shrugged it off.

"I don't need some weak kids to save me, I'll be fine." Hearing her arrogant tone made both my mother and grandfather scoff.

'Just because she received special attention, that doesn't mean she shouldn't push other away.' Said my mother.

'Let her be, by the time she is helpless, let us see if she'll call for help.' Commented my grandfather, hearing both of them, I had no choice but to agree to their words.

'Well, our problems aren't with them, we have a party to get to.'

FASHBACK END

The four of us stood in front of the doors to the Schnee manner, Blake, and Ilia were nervous, while Sienna and I were calm.

"Remember, behave, and if anyone tries to harm you, you can hit them." The three of us nodded our heads at her words, but Blake was still hesitant.

Seeing her like this, I held her hand with mine. And since we are siblings, I was adopted, it can't be lewd.

"It's okay Blake, I'll be by your side." Seeing me smile at her, she grew a small smile of her own.

"O-Okay brother, I-I trust you." I approached the door, with Blake hiding behind me, and knocked on the door.

While waiting, I took the chance to observe the dresses that the girls wore. Looking at Blake, she wore a red dress that reached her knees, while wearing a white sweater.

Sienna wore a long black dress with tail flaps at the bottom, while also wearing some dress shorts, the sides were cut off and it exposed her legs with long thigh heels.

Ilia herself wore a purple dress, it had markings of tree branches and a chameleon on one of the branches.

And finally, my there was me, I wore a black suit with a red handkerchief sticking out on the side, while at the same time, wearing a red tie.

As I looked at the girls, I couldn't help but blush at how beautiful they looked, especially Sienna.

The way her legs were exposed, something about it attracted me to them. Now to be honest, I don't mind.

Seeing the edge of the thigh high heels squish her thigh, it was making me a bit turned on.

'Thank the brother gods I'm still a child, if I was in my teenage years, I think I would have to use my illusions.' I thought, luckily, the door opened.

And out came a chubby butler with a brown mustache and a bald head with his hair still on the sides.

"Ah, welcome to the Schnee family manner, I take it you are the famous Blake and Aiko Belladonna?" Said the man with a kind smile on his face.

Both Sienna and ilia were about to step in front of us, but I soon approached the man and bowed.

"Hello, I'm Aiko Belladonna, and this is my sister, seeing me bow, Blake quickly stepped to my side and bowed as well.

"H-hello." She whispered, the man was taken aback at our greeting but he composed himself, his mustache twitched side to side, and I couldn't see his mouth.

"Why, I never thought I'd see this." Me and Blake were prepared for the insults, but what he said next caught us off guard.

"Such good manners, your parents must have taught you well." He said, the edges of his mustache rose up, and he began to chuckle.

"T-thank you." Blake spoke a bit louder, just enough for the man to hear, he then waved her thanks off and bowed.

"My name is Klein Sieben, head Butler to the Schnee family, pleasure to make your acquaintance." Hearing him greet us politely, I was surprised that there was someone nice in this kingdom.

"Y-you don't dislike the Faunus?" Blake asked Klein, who shook his head at her question.

"Of course not, you are like us, you bleed the same color, and you all have manners as well." He commented looking at me and Blake.

"Just because you are different from us, doesn't mean we should suppress your kind. In fact, we should try to co-exist." Hearing his words made both Sienna and Ilia see Klein in a new light.

"You aren't lying. I guess not all humans are bad." Klein scoffed at her words and shook his head.

"That may be true, but my employer is nothing but a bold face liar. A sham is what he is." The four of us looked at him in shock, seeing him insult his own boss.

"Ah, my apologies, I tend to have a habit to insult my employer, let's keep this between the five of us." We all nodded at his suggestion and soon entered.

"Now, please, follow me." He then guided us through the home, while walking, I began to look around the home for anything valuable.

Seeing me look around, Sienna gripped my shoulder tight. I winced at how strong her grip is, Sienna lowered her voice to a whisper to tell me something.

"I understand that we are in a wealthy persons home, but that doesn't mean you should steal anything." She said, I only riled my eyes at what she said.

"It's not stealing, I'm just borrowing it until I decide to return it." I whispered back while pocketing a small expensive looking tray.

After walking a few more minutes, we soon arrived at the ball room, but before we could enter, Klein stopped us.

"Now, I know you have protection with you, but do remember, do not be the aggressors, let them cause the scene and attack you first. Then you can, 'calm' the situation." He told us.

Once we agreed to his suggestion, he opened the door and motioned for us to enter. After entering the ballroom, most of the humans noticed use

However, they stayed silent and didn't bother trying to approach us. The four of us could tell that the entire room was tense, and one wrong word could have them target us easily.

The four of us decided to walk around, not bothering to talk to anyone at the moment. Once arriving at the food, we began to only take little bits of food.

Seeing how we weren't acting like 'animals' the humans narrowed their eyes at our actions.

I could hear some of them murmuring about how we thought we could act like them, just because we knew some manners.

But that didn't stop some of them approaching us, one of the humans that approached us was a lady with tan skin.

She had almond colored hair with the tips being black, she alone wore a black dress like Sienna, but it had gold patterns running along the waist and hips.

"My, my, it seem you four have some manners, for a bunch of animals." She said with a smug look, she began to walk around us, observing our attire, trying to find a flaw.

She then saw Blake hiding behind me, seeing this, she smiled and lowered herself to talk to Blake.

"Hi there sweetie, my names Karen. What's yours?" She asked in a sweet manner, looking at her smile, we knew it was fake.

"M-my names B-Blake, b-but my m-mom and d-dad told me not to t-talk to strangers." She said, Karen knew she wasn't going to get anything out of Blake and ended up scowling.

Blake yelped loud enough to catch some attention, some of the humans turned towards us and saw Karen scowling at us.

They all ignored us, since it wasn't a scuffle. But our problems soon began to grow when a man approached Karen and wrapped his arm around her.

"Dear, please play nice, there just children." Said the man, but Karen wanted to cause a problem.

"Honey, that little girl tried to give me fleas, make her go away." She whimpered, the man then looked at Blake in disgust and was about to raise his voice, but paled in fright and shoved Karen away.

"Miss Winter, I-It's an honor to be in your presence." He said, the woman was betrayed and confused, but when she saw winter, she tried to continue to play the victim.

"Miss Winter, you must remove these filthy beasts, the little girl has fleas." She exclaimed, but winter did nothing.

"That's odd, I made sure they were rid of any fleas." Hearing this, Karen paled at what Winter said.

The surrounding humans who expected to ridicule us all looked away, not wanting to be dragged into her problem.

"Did you maybe had enough to drink?" Winter asked Karen, she only took a step back and began to blush at her mistake.

"Y-yes, I-I shall excuse myself." Said Karen and began to walk away, Winter then sighed and soon turned towards us.

"Are you alright, Blake?" Blake only nodded her head, but stayed silent.

"Stay near me, no one would approach us, unless they wish to speak with the general." After what had happened, the two of us stood close to Winter, while Sienna and Ilia chose to stay near by.

After a few minutes, the people began to turn in one direction, and soon Jacques appeared.

"Welcome, welcome, ladies and gentlemen. For coming to my celebration on a successful business." He said, and the humans, and reluctantly us, clapped.

"Now, I know we have some very interesting guest, so please, give them some time to adapt." He said and motioned towards us, however, seeing us, he saw Winter with us.

And I could barely see the smallest twitch near his eye, but he was well enough to hide it and continued with a smile.

"So please, enjoy the festivity and thank you for coming." He then left and began to mingle with the people, and the tense atmosphere that was in the air, dispersed.

"Well then, I am no longer needed but be on your guard. Just because you are not in a fight, doesn't mean there won't be a battle." She then left us alone, walking towards the general.

The second she left us the people parted to the side, letting pass them. They then began to approach us, but with a more kind look.

We all knew that they were fake, but we also had to smile in return. We didn't want another problem with the humans, and they didn't want to look like fools.

We began to mingle with some of them, and to be honest, they had 'legitimate' business, hule others were more, disturbing.

However, we kept holding on for half an hour, and soon the sound of ringing glass was heard.

"Ladies and gentlemen, how is everything?" Jacques asked, most of the people raised their glass and smiled, while other did nothing.

"Now then, since we've had enough time to enjoy the food, let us have a dance to end the night." He then motioned to the side, and a small orchestra group began to play.

The people began to move to the sides, clearing the center of the room. Multiple people began to ask for the right to dance, and began to make their way to the dance floor.

Reluctantly, some of the children had to ask us for a dance, and we had to accept. Luckily, they didn't say anything, rude to us.

Some of the boys actually began to blush when they saw Blake's shy demeanor when they danced with her, while the girls began to blush at my kind smile when I danced and complimented them.

Unknowingly causing the opinion to slightly change for them when it comes to the Faunus.

I soon returned to the girls after dancing with another girl, leaving said girl giggling and blushing.

As I arrived, I saw Blake and Ilia pouting at what happened, while Sienna huffed and looked away.

I was confused on why this happened, but something told me I should just stay quiet and deal with this later.

Soon, I felt a tap on my shoulder, and I saw a girl with white hair, wearing a white dress. She did a curtsy in front of me and soon showed a fake smile.

"Hello, my name is Weiss Schnee, may I have the honor to dance with you?"
