Chapter 95: Other Parts
Manchester Airport — Oliver, Edward, and Rebecca had finally arrived.
It had been an extraordinary journey for Oliver, and he couldn't be more satisfied.
They parted ways there, each needing to return to their own homes.
Oliver went home by taxi.
Of course, he returned quietly, visiting his original body and putting the Observation Ring back onto it.
The most important part of the Observation Ring now was the blood from the lion-man — blood that contained Absorath's essence.
Without that blood, he wouldn't be able to train the Absolute Fusion Technique.
I'll train with Ivy later… maybe tonight, he thought.
For now, it was difficult — one of his manifestations was currently being beaten up.
Even if it didn't affect him physically, he wanted to focus on watching the Eagle King evolve into a True Monster.
At this point, he felt like visiting his teacher first.
He didn't necessarily need to tell her that he had progressed further, but there was something he needed from her — another piece of the Ordo of Life.
Unfortunately, he had no leads. He needed to meet her to get one.
With that decided, he immediately sped off to his teacher's house on a black ninja motorbike.
He'd been curious to try it, and it really was incredible.
He didn't even bother wearing a helmet.
At high speed, it didn't take long before he arrived at the front of her mansion.
There, he saw Lisa sweeping dry leaves in the yard — looking a little different in casual clothes rather than her maid uniform.
She was also a Cultivator, and from what Oliver could tell, she was still at Stage Ten.
Their understanding of the Ordo of Life was essentially equal now.
When Lisa saw him, she immediately walked over and opened the gate for him.
"Is Master inside?" Oliver asked.
"Yes, you can go in," Lisa replied.
Hearing that, Oliver rode the motorbike into the mansion grounds.
He parked not far from the front door.
The moment he stepped inside, he found Evylin — unchanged as always.
Her hair still had that wolf cut. She wore long pants and a tight tank top, sipping warm coffee and smoking.
If she weren't such a tomboy, she could easily be one of the most beautiful women around. Even as a tomboy, she was still stunning.
Her face carried a sharp, commanding presence.
And with that tight tank top, her attractiveness was impossible to hide.
For a moment, Oliver found himself entranced, almost shaking his head to drive away the inappropriate thoughts.
Of course, Evylin was the kind of beauty who could easily charm any man, but Oliver had always seen her from a student's perspective — and never dared to think otherwise.
At least, that had always been the case… but somehow, now, stray thoughts had crept in when he looked at her.
Looks like having more power is making me… less restrained, he thought.
He approached, and Evylin looked at him calmly, though for a brief moment her eyes narrowed.
From the start, Oliver hadn't gone out of his way to hide his cultivation, so she was certainly aware of it.
She simply kept her reaction from showing too much surprise.
"Sit," she told him, pointing to the seat in front of her.
Oliver sat quietly, waiting for her to say something — though he was the one who had come for something.
But even after several minutes, she said nothing.
"Master, umm…" Oliver finally broke the silence, a bit awkwardly.
"With your level now, you can already start walking your own path. Naturally, I don't need to keep telling you things — unless you ask," Evylin said, clearly reading his mind.
Oliver nodded repeatedly.
"Master, I want to get the other part of the Ordo of Life. I'd like to know where I can find it," he said.
"That's something Lisa wants as well… but she hasn't gotten it yet," Evylin replied.
Hearing that, Oliver knew it wouldn't be easy.
If Evylin couldn't get it for Lisa, it had to be difficult indeed.
"Is there anyone on Earth who has it?"
"Unfortunately, no. Of course, you can try your luck. Here's the information…"
Once again, Evylin sent a ray of light directly into Oliver's mind.
He was instantly startled — and amazed.
In the Chaotic World, there was a place called the Mountain of Life. That was where the Ordo of Life could be obtained… and where one could find the remaining piece.
However, a trial awaited there — a trial no Cultivator who practiced the Ordo of Life had ever completed.
On that mountain, one would be given the next 3% portion of the Ordo of Life needed to advance to the Earth Master Realm — but they had to comprehend it within one hour.
If they failed, they would have to leave and could never try again. The 3% given would be forcibly erased from their memory.
This demands extremely high talent, Oliver thought.
Even with such talent, an hour sounded absurdly short.
He himself had taken more than an hour just to advance the Black Hole from 10% to 13% — and that had been with the help of an Earth Path Potion.
"Basically, there's only one trick. You need to gain enlightenment about life itself there. That's the only way," Evylin said, and Oliver could only nod.
"By the way, Master, I brought quite a lot of cigarettes from Southeast Asia. You might like them," Oliver said, placing some of the packs he had bought on the table.
Seeing them, Evylin immediately picked up one of the boxes and smiled.
"Very nice…" She took a cigarette from the box, lighting it on the spot, while placing the rest into her Storage Ring.
"Looks like you really know how to please people," she said.
"Well, since you've advanced to the Earth Master Realm, I should give you a gift too. But I don't have anything suitable on hand. How about this — we go to the Path of Power Shop and get you a Tier 3 Weapon? I'll pay for it."
"Master, thank you…" Oliver couldn't hide his excitement at the idea.
At his current level, he did need a new weapon — but even with the large sums of money Rebecca had sent him, it wouldn't have been easy.
Unfortunately, Tier 3 Weapons could basically only be bought with Monster Cores from Level 21 and above.
