30 Years in Whitebeard’s Crew, I Became Invincible

Chapter 150: Chapter 150: Bullying a Blind Man, The Straw Hats

Under the night sky, footsteps faded into the distance. Doflamingo crouched on the ground, clutching his ears. When he finally removed his hand, there was a small wound between his ear and temple, a ruptured blood vessel.

Using his strings, he stitched the wound shut, stopping the bleeding instantly. But his face and hands were still smeared with blood.

Back at Egghead two years ago, he and Boa Hancock had stayed on the sidelines, watching as Roy fought Garp.

Now, it was just a single bullet. But his instincts screamed that if Roy had wanted to, that shot could have taken his life.

"Intentional, huh? So he knows what I was thinking." Doflamingo muttered, the hatred in his heart deepening.

Everything he had achieved was fueled by his burning hatred for the world, whether it was the Celestial Dragons, the World Government, or anyone else. His dream was to crush every last one of them beneath his feet.

"Fufufufu... This is getting more and more interesting..." Doflamingo spread his arms and laughed maniacally, slipping into madness.

Even from the end of the bridge, Roy could hear his laughter. His Observation Haki sensed the sheer depth of that hatred.

"What a pity. If you hadn't eaten the String-String Fruit, this Devil Fruit might've been perfect for you. It could've even helped with your revenge."

As time passed, Dressrosa became increasingly chaotic. Roy decided to stay on the island, since it was already beginning to spiral out of control.

Doflamingo had stepped down from the Warlords and given up his claim as king of Dressrosa.

The Straw Hat Pirates and the Heart Pirates had formed an alliance.

The Kidd Pirates, Hawkins Pirates, and On Air Pirates had joined together, too.

Five Supernova crews, divided into two alliances. The entire New World knew something big was coming.

....

Inside a casino, Roy was gambling against a blind man.

"Hey, what the heck are those two even playing?"

"Who's the dealer? Where's the owner?"

"No idea. They're rolling dice, but it's always a tie."

"That is boring. Beating a blind man should be easy."

"All right." The blind man suddenly spoke and threw his dice.

Thud thud thud!

The dice rolled a few times before landing on a six.

"Six points. Not bad. My turn now," Roy said, picking up the dice and shaking them in both hands.

A group at the next table looked over curiously at the noise.

"That guy..." Zoro, with a mustache hanging from his nose, widened his eyes.

"Roy!!" Luffy shouted excitedly.

"Don't yell!" Sanji quickly covered Luffy's mouth. Franky, who had never seen Roy before, stayed quiet.

Unexpectedly, Kin'emon ran over and fell to his knees in front of Roy, bowing deeply.

"Lord Roy, it's really you! Please save the Land of Wano!"

"Kin'emon?!" The Straw Hats were all shocked. Kin'emon knew Roy?

But Roy didn't even glance at him. He simply kept shaking the dice in his hands.

"All right." Roy tossed the dice. As they hit the ground, they split in half. One half showed six, the other half showed one.

"Hahaha! Seven points! Sorry, I win." Roy laughed heartily.

"Truly... breaking the rules within the rules. That's what pirates do," the blind man said with a sigh.

"Come on, doesn't matter. I still won, right?" Roy chuckled.

"Yes, you did," the blind man admitted.

"The guy kneeling over there... seems to be looking for you," the blind man said.

"What could he want..." Roy looked at Kin'emon. Their eyes met.

"Get lost.

Roy kicked Kin'emon, sending him flying.

"Kin'emon!!" Luffy and the others jumped in shock.

"Problem solved. Wanna play another round?" Roy asked.

"Forget it. I've already lost. There's no point continuing," the blind man replied.

"Good. Then don't mind me. I'm not looking for trouble," Roy shrugged.

"Without orders from the highest authority, no one will move against you. Not even me." The blind man stood.

"Roy, you cheated! The old man clearly won!" Luffy ran over, protesting.

"Hmm?" The blind man turned his head, revealing his completely white eyes, and faced Zoro.

"Thank you," he said.

"That wasn't me! He's next to me!" Zoro shouted.

"Oh, sorry, I can't see. You're a kind man, thank you," the blind man said, turning to Luffy.

"No problem! It was Roy who cheated," Luffy said innocently.

"Such a kind soul. I've got something to do, I'll be leaving now. Enjoy your meal," the blind man said.

"See you, mister!" Luffy waved.

The blind man exited the casino. Roy looked at the pile of money on the table, pulled out a bag, and swept it all inside.

"Roy, why are you here?" Luffy asked excitedly, as he hadn't seen him in over a year.

"Just passing through on some business. You guys came for Doflamingo, right?" Roy replied.

"How'd you know?" Luffy asked, shocked.

"I read the newspaper. You formed an alliance with Trafalgar Law," Roy said.

"Yup! This time, we're gonna beat Doflamingo!" Luffy declared.

The casino, being part of the Donquixote Family, clearly wouldn't tolerate anyone badmouthing Doflamingo. When they tried to intervene, Zoro and the others quickly beat them down. The rest of the crowd fled, leaving only the Straw Hats.

"Kin'emon, are you okay?" Franky rushed over to help the fallen samurai.

"Why'd you hit Kin'emon?" Zoro asked.

"No reason. Just seeing his face makes me want to punch it. Same goes for that brat Momonosuke. Too bad his master isn't here, I'd beat him too." Roy said coldly.

Kin'emon stood up. This man had survived direct hits from Kaido; there was no way a single kick could take him down. Ignoring everyone's concern, he kneeled before Roy again.

"No matter what grudge there was in the past, it's over now. Lord Roy, please let it go. Please help us. Help Lord Momonosuke, the son of a former Whitebeard commander. Please protect him," Kin'emon pleaded.

"Roy, you know Little Momo?" Luffy asked, surprised.

"Of course. That brat was born on Whitebeard's ship. Don't underestimate his identity," Roy said.

"So he's part of the Whitebeard Pirates too?" Sanji asked.

"He was. But not anymore. So I'm under no obligation to help. I always thought Oden was a fool; never liked the guy. I even opposed letting him join. But history's course can't be changed. Your final enemy is Kaido."

"I can only wish you luck. Oh, by the way, Loxus has joined the Beasts Pirates now. He's one of their top officers. You're in for one hell of a battle."

"Don't hold back. Beat him as hard as you can, hahahaha!"
