Zombie Apocalypse: Reborn With A Farming Space

Chapter 393: Four Years Gap

After several moves of the chicken's giant wings, a huge gale appeared and formed a tornado. Seeing this, Fu Guai's eyes flashed with surprise.

Despite his surprise, he still stood there unmoving and raised his hand calmly. The next moment, a tornado appeared in front of him and moved toward the chicken.

BOOM!

The moment the tornadoes collided, Fu Guai's tornado swallowed the other and expanded instantly. Narrowing his eyes, he waved his hand, and the tornado flew toward the chicken at a fast speed.

Seeing the incoming attack, the chicken let out a sharp crow and turned around to flee. But due to the strong suction power of the tornado, the chicken could only run on the spot, unable to move at all.

Fu Guai smiled when he saw this. Just before his tornado turned the mutant chicken into shredded chicken, a heavy pressure came out of nowhere, dispersing the tornado instantly.

BOOM!

The transparent pressure was like a mountain pressing on his body, forcing him to kneel down. While he was circulating his energy to bear the pressure, he saw two people suddenly appear and stand a few meters from him.

When Jin Xuyan saw the killing intent in Fu Guai's clear eyes, a thought flashed in his mind. Taking a few steps closer, he asked, "Fu Guai, do you remember me?"

Hearing the familiar voice, Fu Guai's eyes widened in shock.

Seeing this, Jiao Lizhi released the space pressure on him and said, "Brother Yan, it seems that he has regained his consciousness."

Without the pressure, Fu Guai stood up and stared at the familiar yet unfamiliar face in front of him. It had only been three years since he left. How could his brother look so old?

Meeting his confused gaze, Jin Xuyan said, "Fu Guai, it has been seven years since I left. I'm sorry for leaving you behind. I went back five years ago to rescue you, but I was no longer able to find the facility location."

Hearing this, Fu Guai's heart sank. Since the moment he lost consciousness, it had been four years. Lowering his gaze, he looked at his pale fingertips and stared at his sharp nails.

'In the past four years, what have I become? What happened in those four years?' he thought inwardly.

Knowing that his brother had finally regained his memories, Jin Xuyan was happy and walked to him. Standing in front of him, he patted his shoulders and said, "Fu Guai, I'm glad that you finally regained your memories."

After a moment, Fu Guai looked at him and nodded.

Noticing that he didn't utter a word, Jin Xuyan reached out and held his wrist. Using his energy, he checked his friend's condition. Five minutes later, he frowned deeply but said nothing.

Seeing this, Jiao Lizhi asked, "Brother Yan, what's wrong?"

"His throat was damaged and he lost his voice," Jin Xuyan replied.

"Brother Yan, when we go back to the Lin'an City Base, we can ask Sister Jiang to heal his throat."

Hearing this, Jin Xuyan nodded and said, "That's the only way."

Jiao Lizhi walked to Fu Guai and looked at him from head to toe. Now that he had recovered from his wounds and removed the zombie virus inside his body, he didn't look like a mutant at all. Although his appearance still resembled Jin Xuyan's.

Due to his looks, she found him pleasing and asked, "Brother Fu, are you hungry? Do you want to eat something?"

Before she asked, Fu Guai didn't feel hungry. But now, his stomach let out a loud rumble. Hearing this, Jin Xuyan smiled and said, "Let's go. I will cook something for you."

Fu Guai nodded and followed them to the house. As they walked, he looked around and realized just how vast this place was. When he saw the lush farmland and the plump fruits, he couldn't help but swallow.

When they reached the house, Jin Xuyan led him to the second floor and said, "I'm staying in the master bedroom with my fiancée. You can stay in this junior master bedroom."

After they entered the bedroom, he took out a set of clean clothes from the wardrobe and handed it to him while saying, "Go take a shower first and come down to eat."

Holding the clothes, Fu Guai nodded and walked to the bedroom.

While Jin Xuyan and Jiao Lizhi prepared a meal for him, he took a shower and soaked in the bathtub. Soaking inside the warm water, he closed his eyes and reorganized the new information he got.

Half an hour later, he finished his bath and walked to the dining room. Standing there, he looked at his brother chatting with another person. When he looked at her, his eyes were gentle and warm, something he had never seen, or expected, before.

Noticing his presence, Jiao Lizhi turned around and said with a smile, "Brother Fu, have a seat first. We are almost done."

Five minutes later, the two of them carried a big pot of chicken soup and a big bowl of fried rice. After they placed the food in front of Fu Guai, they took their seats.

"Brother Fu, you must be hungry. Hurry and eat before the food turns cold," Jiao Lizhi said while she scooped a bowl of soup for him.

After a moment of hesitation, Fu Guai finally picked up his chopsticks and spoon. He didn't know what he had eaten in the past four years. So, he took a small sip of the chicken soup.

When he swallowed the soup, he felt a warm energy spreading from his throat toward his entire body. He waited for a moment and didn't feel any discomfort.

Since his body was able to eat this, he no longer held back and picked up the bowl. He took several large gulps and finished the entire bowl.

Afterward, he tried the fried rice, mapo tofu, and stir-fried vegetables. While there was a slight discomfort when he ate the fried rice, he was still able to eat it. With this discovery, the heavy stone pressing on his heart finally lifted.
