Zombie Apocalypse: Reborn With A Farming Space

Chapter 392: Waking up

The water bullets rained on the zombies like rainfall, raising a wave of wind and creating a thick layer of dust that obscured the sight.

Two minutes later, the attack finally stopped. When the dust finally settled down, the corner of Jiao Lizhi's lips lifted.

This attack was a good AOE attack as it used less energy but was able to clear a large number of zombies.

While she was clearing the low-level zombies, Jin Xuyan had chopped off one of the high-level zombie's arms.

"Roar!!"

The zombie raised its head and let out an angry roar. Before Jin Xuyan could land the next attack, the zombie spun its body and kicked his chest.

Duagh! Boom!

The kick sent him flying and hitting the ground, leaving a deep crack.

"Cough!"

After coughing up a mouthful of blood, Jin Xuyan raised his head and saw a massive metal ball covered in fire fly toward his direction at a fast speed.

BOOM!

The explosion shook the entire area as if it was hit with an earthquake, raising a thick cloud of dust as gusts of wind spread toward the surroundings.

Hearing the noise, Jiao Lizhi rushed over to check on her fiancé while shouting, "Brother Yan!"

Crack! Boom!

The next moment, the metal ball cracked and Jin Xuyan appeared behind the zombie.

"Roar!"

Sensing the cold, killing intent, the zombie swung its arm at him.

Crash!

But before its sharp claw could touch Jin Xuyan's neck, the longsword covered in black flame had already chopped off its head.

Black blood spurted like a fountain and stained the ground. As the head rolled to the ground, the black flame engulfed it, leaving only two crystal cores behind.

Seeing that her fiancé was fine, Jiao Lizhi let out a sigh of relief. She quickly went to him, held his wrist, and used her energy to check on his injuries.

Feeling the slightly cool energy flowing in his body, Jin Xuyan smiled and said, "Ah Zhi, I'm fine."

After checking his injuries, Jiao Lizhi took out a bottle of pond water from her space and handed it to him without saying a word.

Noticing that his fiancée was sullen, Jin Xuyan held her hand and asked, "Ah Zhi, are you angry with me?"

Lowering her head, she said, "Brother Yan, I'm not angry with you. I'm just worried and sad. I always thought that I'm strong, but when you are in danger, I can't even help you. What if you…"

Hearing this, Jin Xuyan hugged her, and said, "Ah Zhi, you are great. You can do many things that I can't do. So, don't blame yourself. What's more, increasing your strength cannot be rushed or you would suffer backlashes. If something happened to you, what should I do?"

Jiao Lizhi went silent for a moment before she nodded and said, "Brother Yan, I understand."

Jin Xuyan smiled and said, "We have cleared the zombies in this area. Let's take a break before we continue."

"Okay."

The next moment, the two of them disappeared from the area and reappeared inside her space. After they took a bath and had their lunch, the two of them went to sleep.

Meanwhile, Fu Guai finally opened his eyes and woke up from his deep sleep in the grassland area. As he stared at the foggy sky, he reached out his hand and touched his throat.

Parting his lips, he let out a hoarse voice, "Ahh…"

Feeling the pain in his throat, he frowned and pushed himself up. He looked at his own hands for a moment before he raised his head and checked the surroundings.

The last memories he had were of the day he was dragged away by the guards after he completed the final test in the facility. They told him that as long as he emerged as the champion, he would be able to leave the facility and find his best friend.

But after he killed all of the competitors and won the death match, he was locked inside a laboratory and injected with countless unknown drugs and liquids. They also took his blood samples and tortured him every day.

During that period, he realized that while his strength and ability grew rapidly, his body started to change, and he slowly lost his memories and consciousness.

At the last moment before he completely lost his consciousness, he heard those researchers say that it was time to inject the last vial of T-drug, and he was most likely the only one who managed to survive the experiment after so many years.

Before he could process the meaning of their words, his consciousness was pulled into a deep, dark abyss. He thought that he had died. Unexpectedly, he was actually still alive and woke up in this strange place.

But what actually happened to him? What experiment did the facility do? Also, who exactly were those people in the facility?

The more he tried to find the answer, the more questions were left unanswered. Since he couldn't find the answers now, he would think about it later. The most important thing right now was to find out what this place was.

After he made up his mind, he stood up and closed his eyes. A few minutes later, he heard the sound of chickens coming from the area not far from his current place. Following the sound, he walked toward the direction.

An hour later, he finally found the source of the sounds. Standing in the vast grassland, he stared at the massive chickens running freely in astonishment.

It took him a while to regain his composure and mutter, "Is this place still inside the facility?"

Feeling curious, he continued walking toward the chicken pen. When he was twenty meters away from the pen, a chicken suddenly noticed his presence and rushed toward him.

As the chicken spread its massive wings, it raised its head and let out a long, sharp crow. The next moment, the chicken leaped into the air and flapped its wings.
