Zombie Apocalypse: I Have Safe Zone Superpower

Chapter 102: Maid ?

"No!" Ivy declined. She couldn't understand how a dinner suddenly reached the point that now she was going to become Silas's wife. "I can't!"

Even if she had changed the future, her jinx was still there. If they become husband and wife, they will stay together for a long time, won't he be harmed at that time?

"Ivy, you aren't in the position to decline." Silas reminded, his gentle voice echoed in her ears, "You owe me. Compared to my death, doesn't becoming my wife just seem a normal compensation?"

"That…" That did make sense. Ivy was speechless and didn't know how to argue back. For the first time, she realized that her thought process was completely different from Silas's.

Her heart was pounding at the thought of marrying Silas, but more than that, she was worried. Finally, she tried to negotiate,

"How about this… I will become your maid?"

"Hm? That won't do. Maid? I never hire maids because my standards are very high. You see, I just don't want a maid who can clean the house, I want one who will stay by my side 24/7 and let me have her whenever I want."

As Silas said, he stood up and slowly walked up to Ivy, turned her chair toward him, and leaned toward her face. His hot breath landed on her face, and he continued,

"Tell me. Can you do it? Let me f*ck you in the kitchen, guest bedroom, master bedroom, and even my military office."

Thump. Thump.

Ivy could feel her heart pounding, and she tried to ignore the heat pooling in her lower body. Was Silas always like this?

'Maybe he is just threatening me so that I listen to him. He will never do anything against my permission.'

Ivy had that much confidence in Silas, but what she forgot was… during their intimate moments, Ivy never once resisted because she craved Silas just as much as he craved her.

"Alright then, I will be your maid." Ivy agreed. With her being his maid, she could distance herself as she wanted and do as she pleased.

However, Silas didn't agree. Maid? Can be bear to even let Ivy become? He had said those words to scare her, but she seemed not to take his words seriously.

"Think this through. I will give you one week's time. And Ivy, I won't give you any special treatment once you become my maid." Silas threatened, his eyes held a rare trace of seriousness that he hardly ever showed to Ivy, causing Ivy to rethink her decisions.

Ignoring her speechless expression, he left Ivy to think everything through. In the end, when Ivy couldn't reach any conclusion, she gave up and returned to Silas's room.

Anger aside, she couldn't bear to see him with dark circles tomorrow.

Silas, too, didn't push Ivy, and instead hugged her the moment she lay on the bed. His unwillingness to talk spoke volumes about his dissatisfaction with Ivy's decision.

The next day.

When Ivy woke up, she realized Silas still hadn't left. From his calm demeanor, it was clear that he wasn't running late at all and instead was waiting for Ivy to wake up.

The moment Ivy did wake up, he calmly stated, "After getting ready, meet me at the dining table."

With that, he left the room without sparing a glance in Ivy's direction. His cold demeanor was enough to tell Ivy about the anger in Silas's heart, which still hadn't faded yet.

Ivy quickly took a shower and walked up to the dining table. Seeing the warm breakfast, she chuckled in her heart, but maintained a calm facade.

Soon she finished eating the breakfast, and Silas took out a pick card and slid it toward Ivy. Ivy knew the card all too well.

Wasn't it the military base's card? She gracefully accepted the card and waited for Silas to speak again,

"Ronan and his minions have been caught. Just let me know when you want to kill them."

A glint flashed in Ivy's eyes, which she hid by lowering her eyes, before she nodded gratefully and said in a gentle voice,

"Thank you."

Seeing her lowered eyes, Silas thought that she was reminiscing about the bitter memories, and his stance softened a bit.

"Don't thank me. This is what I should. If you have any such future visions, feel free to share them with me."

Just don't suffer in silence. Though Silas didn't say those words, Ivy understood and felt her heart turn a bit warm.

After Silas left, Ivy tried to enter the Temporal Storage, expecting to be stopped, but to her surprise, she was able to enter the place.

Delighted, she looked around to see any visible changes but saw none. Temporal Storage wasn't expanded, the atmosphere was still gloomy, and even the time didn't seem to flow any faster.

"Did I get scammed?" That was the first thought that came to Ivy's mind. She had spent 1000KB and almost 1000 space crystals, but now she knew that nothing had changed…

Suppressing the disappointment, Ivy tried to see if she could come across any farming land or spring water or such stuff…

But she was destined to be disappointed. At last, she sat down and muttered under her breath, "This Temporal Storage scammed me, huh?"

Just as her fury was going to reach its peak, she suddenly remembered a function she still hadn't tested yet!

"I would like to multiply." Ivy suddenly commanded.

[Which item would you like to multiply?]

"Rice," Ivy ordered.

[Would you like to multiply rice 50 times for 1KB?]

Eh? 50 times? Ivy was delighted! The gamble paid off, and she understood something she had never known.

"So, as I continue to upgrade this temporal storage, I can increase the number of times I can multiply an item? That's too awesome!"

Just as she thought so, she suddenly remembered about her plan to make prefabricated houses as well as towers using the Temporal Storage and ordered.

"Build an apartment for me!" Ivy ordered.

[Would you like to build an apartment for 2KB?]
