You’re Supposed To Be The Villain, But You Effortlessly Win Over The Female Leads?

Chapter 63:

Chapter 63:

In the end, they decided to lower the price of the bacon, settling at 58 yuan per pound.

Thanks to Jiang Feng’s enthusiastic promotion, all of Grandma’s bacon was sold out in no time.

The dozens of kilograms of bacon she had stored up were quickly snatched up by eager buyers, earning her thousands of yuan in just a short period.

When Grandma saw the sudden influx of money in her account, she was stunned.

“How did it sell so fast?” she muttered in disbelief.

This wasn’t just a small amount—it was thousands of yuan! Enough to cover her expenses for an entire year.

The bacon she had listed online had practically sold out in seconds.

At this moment, Grandma gazed at Jiang Feng as if he were a living god of wealth.

She had always been fond of Jiang Feng, but now she looked at him with even more admiration.

Then, when she learned that Jiang Feng was staying in the room next to the pigsty, her expression changed.

“Why are you staying in that room?” she asked, concerned. “No, no, you can move into the room at the front! The air is much better there. I have an empty room outside. You can stay in that one instead.”

“The room outside?”

Jiang Nan misunderstood immediately, thinking it was his room she was talking about.

“Grandma, that room was assigned by a draw! It’s mine!”

“Yours?” Grandma scoffed. “This whole house is mine.”

“We all drew lots,” Jiang Nan protested. “He willingly swapped rooms with Bai Qingqing, so he’s supposed to stay there.”

Grandma’s laughter was sharp and sarcastic.

“Whether it’s necessary or not, I don’t care. I don’t want to see Xiao Feng staying in the room next to the pigsty. What’s your problem with that? I locked that room outside for guests, but I’m more than happy to let Xiao Feng use it. If you have so many opinions, why don’t you move out? You think this place is yours? You’re young and full of selfish thoughts, yet you can’t even do any real work. You’re lazy!”

Lazy?

Hearing that word hit a nerve in Jiang Nan, and he immediately snapped.

“I’m lazy? What about him?” he retorted, pointing at Jiang Feng. “Why is it that he doesn’t have to work? He just goes up the mountain to pick vegetables and gets to eat, while I’m stuck cleaning the pigsty without even getting a meal? He’s lazy, doesn’t like to work, and his grades are terrible! Why does he get special treatment?”

At this point, Jiang Nan didn’t care about maintaining any sort of pretense. His face was red, and he argued furiously with Grandma.

However, Grandma was just as angry.

“Special treatment? I don’t want Xiao Feng living in a room near the pigsty. What’s wrong with that? I’m willing to let him stay in the guest room, and you dare talk back to me? This is how you speak to your elders?”

“You get to stay in a better room outside, but you won’t let your brother do the same. How does that make sense? If you were really a caring older brother, you would have told him to share your room from the start! Selfish! Now you want to stop me from letting him use another room? You’re really bad!”

Her words hit the nail on the head.

Jiang Nan was selfish.

Those three words felt like a bucket of cold water poured over him, bringing him back to reality.

This was all being filmed, and if this scene made it to air…

“Heh… Heh… I’m sorry, brother,” Jiang Nan stammered, trying to recover. “I didn’t mean it like that. I just thought… I thought we shouldn’t break the rules. After all, the show’s rules were set by the production team, and I didn’t want to go against them.”

“Yeah, right,” Jiang Feng muttered, rolling his eyes, clearly unimpressed.

Bai Qingqing, who was watching nearby, also saw through Jiang Nan’s false sincerity.

The real problem, however, was that this whole argument had been broadcast live.

The audience had seen everything.

For a moment, the comments section in the live stream had gone quiet. But then, the messages started pouring in.

[Lily: What the heck! I don’t know much about their relationship, but this Jiang Nan is so fake!]

[Fengfeng: Haha! You can tell how hypocritical he is just by watching. Go check out what Jiang Nan said in the trailer. It’s gross! I bet these two aren’t even real brothers. If he really cared, he would’ve offered to let his brother share his room the moment he knew Jiang Feng was staying by the pigsty.]

[Li Lili: This aunt has lived for decades longer than us. If even she says Jiang Nan isn’t good, it’s probably true.]

[Wang Ke: Let me tell you something! I went to the same school as them. Jiang Nan is the son of the woman Jiang Feng’s father married after his mother died. She moved in less than a year after Jiang Feng’s mom passed. I even heard Jiang Nan’s mother used to be the nurse who took care of Jiang Feng’s mom. So, yeah, I wouldn’t expect their relationship to be great.]

[Fengfeng: Ugh! He’s the son of a mistress? No wonder he’s so manipulative. Gross.]

After nearly 20 minutes of comments flooding in, Jiang Feng finally reacted.

“Oh? Did I forget to turn off the live stream just now?” he said, feigning a slow realization.

Jiang Nan froze, petrified.

The live stream had still been running?

That meant everything they had just said… was broadcast live?

At this moment, Jiang Nan felt a surge of anger, as though he could kill Jiang Feng right there and then.
