"Cai Yuncui told me that it was you who informed her about little Lian's situation. How unscrupulous can you be," Shen Mochen said accusingly, "I bet you resent her, but you pretend not to care and chum up with her, morally binding her to take care of me in the future."

In the dimly lit hospital room, the rhythmic sounds of the medical equipment ticked away. Shen Mochen hadn't turned on the light, sitting by the bed and quietly speaking to the sleeping beauty on it while the lights of thousands of homes twinkled outside the window.

"It's not like I don't get it, should honest people be bullied like this?" Shen Mochen's face feigned anger, but he soon cracked a smile, "Bullying an honest person really does feel great."

Shen Mochen lightly brushed aside the bangs in front of Yin Caiyu, laughing at himself sarcastically.

Shen Mochen muttered softly to himself.
