Wizard: I Can Refine Everything

Chapter 74: Titans Still Alive in the World

Unlike the Supreme, who only has a name left, the Titans of the previous civilization, although without bodies, have left behind quite a bit of information.

In the legends of many races, there are tales of the Titans creating the world.

According to legend, the bodies of the Creation Titans stand sky-high, wielding the powers of thunder and source. They created all things in the world from the void.

Based on the Wizard's research, Creation Titans should possess some kind of technology to preemptively turn a star realm whale into a world seed, as well as the ability to create life.

However, these are after all things deduced from information.

No one has ever seen what a Titan looks like.

But today, Richard can say for certain that their assumptions are likely not wrong.

At least their conjecture about the size of Titans is likely correct.

Titans indeed stand sky-high.

"Ri-Ri... Richard, let's go back. With something like that, we have no chance of surviving."

Ulysses looked at the Titan transformed from a mountain range, barely able to speak.

The Titan's body is preliminarily estimated to be about five thousand meters in height, but if nothing unexpected happens, this height should be the Titan's normal form.

If he possesses abilities like his True Body, then his body might be magnified several times over.

Although size doesn't necessarily represent great strength, a large creature's energy storage capacity and power will by no means be less than those of the same level.

And as a member of the Creation Titans, his strength cannot be low.

Moreover, both felt a suffocating pressure emanating from the Titan.

This pressure, although not as intense as the Star Realm Master, created such a large sense of oppression on them that this Titan's strength definitely reached the Sixth Level.

Sixth-level members of the previous civilization, what a tough battle.

But at this moment, whether to fight or not is no longer their decision.

Richard's gaze pierced through the acidic rain clouds above the upper dimension layer, seeing the Titan's face obscured by clouds, with six eyes arranged like dice, flashing dark red light.

"Roar!"

The Titan's roar was deafening, and the shockwave from his roar instantly dispersed the acidic rain clouds over thousands of kilometers.

Richard's face was grim as he mobilized the Power of Dimension, but the space around him had unknowingly been locked by an immature dimension anchor technology not even matured by the Wizards.

Now, they want to escape, but it's impossible.

The Titan waved his hand casually, and a meteorite with a diameter exceeding a thousand meters appeared in the air.

Covered with densely packed Titan Runes, under the surging energy, these runes emitted ominous dark red light.

Boom!

The meteorite accurately fell on the position where Richard and Ulysses were, raising dust clouds like a sandstorm.

But in the next moment, a mountain-like figure flew out from the dust cloud.

"Ulysses, you go first."

Richard's voice echoed in Ulysses's ears; although harsh, the current battle was no longer one Ulysses could engage in.

Richard could boost himself to the Sixth Level through various enhancements, but Ulysses had no such means.

On a Sixth-Level creature's battlefield, even a Fifth-Level creature would have to give it their all to stay on the fringes.

"Got it, Divine Artifact to you!"

Ulysses didn't argue, directly spitting out a golden light from his mouth, then flying into the distance.

Both of them are World Masters; the scenario of staying without the ability is not possible for them.

Seeing Ulysses attempting to escape, thunder suddenly gathered on the Titan's body, transforming into a Thunder Spear in his hand.

Bam!

The Titan suddenly threw the spear with force. The golden thunder streaked across the sky, shattering space and disrupting elements, as if everything reverted to the world's beginning.

Bang!

A pale fist covered in golden flames shattered the spear.

Richard stood in mid-air; though his figure was only a thousand meters, his aura was no less than that of the Creation Titan.

"Seems like your brain's a bit muddled from sleeping."

Richard looked at the Titan's dark red six eyes, his voice deep like muffled thunder.

The Titan did not respond, but suddenly armor made of unknown materials appeared on his body, covering him, with countless runes lighting up on the armor.

Richard saw clearly that this was a Creation Ability that could only be possessed after mastering the Four Elements Rules.

Mastering the Four Elements Rules, doesn't that mean he's...

Before Richard's thoughts dissipated, he saw a sudden wave of energy erupting within the Titan.

The Heart of Annihilation, studied for a lifetime by the Great Wizard of the Annihilation Storm, now appeared on this Titan in a more mature and powerful mode.

At the instant the Heart of Annihilation was activated, a vast sea of golden lightning erupted around the Creation Titan!

"Is this... the Creation Titan?"

Even though at this moment his body was burning with Miracle Fire, Richard's heart was still shaken by the terrible might, making his body tremble.

His body was in fear.

His body, nearly invincible among Level 5 Creatures, considered to have reached the Sixth Circle even by the Physique Crown, was now trembling.

His body was telling him, continuing further...

Would lead to death!

But at this moment, escape was already a luxury.

In this world full of automatic fortresses, he had nowhere left to go.

"Brother Furnace, the rest is up to you."

Richard shone with Holy Light, with the souls stored in the Divine Country flowing into the Miracle Furnace like rivers.

This is his only chance for victory at this moment.

Perceiving the Miracle Fire on Richard becoming vigorous, the Titan suddenly roared and charged toward Richard in great strides.

It was like a landslide or the collapse of the sky.

"Hmm?"

Richard frowned slightly, sensing something was off.

Upon detecting the Miracle Fire, shouldn't this Titan transform into a Trickster and continuously use ranged attacks?

Why was the Titan now striding toward him, seeming ready for hand-to-hand combat?

But there was no time for contemplation, as the Titan, though enormous, seemed rather agile when in motion.

The massive frame of over five thousand meters moved like an elemental storm mixed with chaotic spatial currents.

In an instant, it could sweep across the entire plain.

Boom!

The Miracle Furnace appeared as a phantom above Richard's head, and a sea of fire surged forth from its mouth, instantly igniting the body of the Creation Titan.

The rune armor of unknown material was reduced to nothing under the Miracle Fire's melting in no time, revealing the steel body beneath.

The Titan did not resist the flames and suddenly swung a punch at Richard.

This punch had no rules; it had no glow—only pure, ultimate strength.

Bang!

Richard crossed his arms to block the punch.

As soon as he touched the fist, Richard felt a vast ocean appear before him.

And he was but a lonely boat on the ocean.

In that ocean-like strength, his own power seemed utterly insignificant.

"Cough, cough, this strength... is truly strong."

Richard coughed, and his entire upper body burst into a mist of blood. However, in the next moment, new flesh was born from the blood mist.

The strength was indeed potent but not enough to reduce Richard to ashes.

As long as he had a single cell, he could regenerate his body under the cycle of life and death—it was merely a matter of time.

"Not bad, successor, your body is impressive."

A deep voice emanated from the Titan, and in Richard's surprised gaze, the metallic sheen of the Titan's steel body faded, revealing skin akin to rock.

His dark red six eyes also turned pitch-black, losing their color.

"Successor, how long has it been since our era?"

The Creation Titan trembled, and a layer of elemental vacuum separated the Miracle Fire from its body.

Without fuel, the scale of the Miracle Fire rapidly diminished.

"How long... roughly a million years."

Richard put away the Miracle Furnace, watching the Titan with vigilant eyes.

The Titan's shift in attitude was akin to a face-turning trick.

"Has it been so long? No wonder I've weakened to this extent."

The Titan's voice carried a tone of regret, seemingly dissatisfied with its recent battle.

It seemed as though not killing Richard with a single punch was deemed a failure.

Mystical power surged through the Titan's body, shrinking it to about ten meters instantaneously.

"Successor, let's have a chat. You found your way here and survived the recent battle with the protection of that broken Furnace Man's furnace; it seems you're from a well-developed civilization.

I know your target is the Spark Base, but it won't run away; it's not too late to retrieve it later."

The Titan's voice was very amiable, and in this short time, Richard sensed a decaying aura from it.

It seemed the Miracle Fire had burned away the life-sustaining energy of the Titan.

"Titan, what do you want to talk about?" Richard shrunk his form, speaking in a low voice.

"Don't you have questions?" the Titan asked in return, "You've reached this place, surely you have curiosities."

"I do, but I feel you might not be able to answer them," Richard looked at the Titan, calmly asking, "I want to know what you encountered in your time. Why, despite forming an alliance as powerful as yours, could you not escape extinction?"

"...You got that right."

The Titan casually molded a few stone-like chairs, handing one to Richard.

"I truly don't know whom we were fighting against. I only know it was an incredibly terrifying creature that mere awareness of its existence could infect us.

Moreover, I truly don't know why we perished. Before I arrived at this base, we were preparing for the final battle.

But from the looks of it now, we probably didn't win that last battle. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been corroded by that creature's power, forced into slumber for so many years."

"A creature that could infect us just by knowing about it?"

Richard listened to the description, and a thought of the broken-seal Demon Lord crossed his mind.

The Demon Lord had a memetic ability similar to the description.

If the Pioneers allied with others, then the Demon Lord was likely the creature they once opposed or at least a subordinate of it.

"I think I might know who you're talking about.

But from the outcome, it seems you won. It is sealed in a Great World, guarded by a specialized race.

After breaking the seal, it was besieged by six Star Realm Masters, and another master is currently hunting it."

"Is that so? Then you must be cautious."

The Titan's voice suddenly became grave; although it didn't know what the creature was, it remembered some records about it.

"That creature is absolutely not something a few Star Realm Masters can handle. A seal lasting a million years might weaken its power, but certainly not enough for a few Star Realm Masters to resolve it.

You must be cautious; the creature surely is deceiving you."
