Chapter 6 Exploring the system.

As Veronica, Shinji, and the maid approached the ship, they noticed a striking woman with silver hair managing the boarding line.

When it was their turn, the woman glanced at Veronica and asked with a frown, "Princess of Aristocracy? Are you planning to take two servants with you? You should know the rule—only one servant is allowed to accompany their master. If you wish to bring more, there will be an additional charge."

"Apologies for the inconvenience," Veronica replied gracefully. "I will cover the extra cost for my servant." She handed a gold coin to her maid, who bowed respectfully before heading to a nearby counter to register Shinji's name.

After some time, the maid returned with a numbered token and handed it to the silver-haired woman.

"Hmm… Here is your token, Princess. These are for you two," the woman said, handing the tokens to Shinji and the maid. "Find your rooms on your own." Without another word, she resumed her duties, her cold demeanor unwavering.

"She's quite indifferent," Veronica sighed, watching the woman for a moment. Then, shaking her head, she said, "Let's find our room first." With that, she led the way onto the ship.

Three ships headed north, bound for an island near the Northern Vale also widely known as Nost Gal, a snow-covered continent.

The journey across the sea stretched roughly 6000 kilometers and would take anywhere from 20 to 30 days, depending on the ships' speed.

In the meantime, Shinji spent his days sleeping, eating, practicing, and testing his luck with the system's wheel.

Ding.....

Reward: 1x Byakuya Hairpin (Invalid – cannot claim duplicate items until the previous one is used or broken.)

"Wow, just as I thought, this system is totally useless…" Shinji muttered. "It's like those movie apps that give you one episode for free and then ask you to buy a premium to see the rest!"

He sighed. This system really feels like it's only giving me trial cards… But having something is better than nothing, right? Wait and watch—I'll completely break this system's rules later.

Determined to find loopholes, Shinji resumed spinning the wheel.

Ding...

Reward: 1x Cero

Ding....

Reward: 1x Orihime Bread (Valid)

"Huh? Valid? What's the logic here?" Shinji frowned, puzzled. "Does this mean consumables like bread are exempt from the 'no duplicates' rule, but non-consumables like hairpins aren't?!"

Ding....

Reward: 1x Cero (Valid)

"Now this is getting interesting. I think I'm starting to figure it out," Shinji thought. "Objects or items that are unique—like hairpins, swords, or special items—are one-of-a-kind and marked invalid if claimed twice. But consumables, like food or even techniques like Cero, can stack."

Ding...

Ding...

Ding....

Reward: 1x Yellow Card (6% chance to get system banned for 2 days)

"What the hell? Is God nerfing me now? A 6% chance? That's way too high!" Shinji complained, glaring at the wheel.

Two days later:

Ding....

Reward: 1x Red Card (2% chance to get system banned for 10 days)

"I'm sorry for complaining, okay?! No more whining!" Shinji shouted at the system, terrified of being locked out for so long.

Ding....

Reward: 1x The Balance

Ding....

Reward: 1x Rukia's Pink Bra.

By the time the 20-day journey has pass, Shinji had spun almost every wheel available—aside from the 12 days he was banned. Out of 8 items obtained, 4 were useful powers, leaving him with a 50/50 success rate. Factoring in the misfortune cards, the success rate dropped to around 30%.

To make matters worse, many items were repeats and marked invalid, while others were... less than desirable.

Staring at the AAA cup bras and the oversized Orihime breads, Shinji sighed. I guess I'll just store these in the inventory for now.

"Status," he commanded.

Shinji's eyes narrowed as he focused on The Balance.

"Is… this is from Bleach," he muttered, intrigued.

* The Balance

• A Quincy ability wielded by Jugram Haschwalth.

• Manipulates luck and misfortune by granting good fortune to someone and then taking it away to create a disadvantage.

• Can be used by manifesting a spiritual weapon: a sword and a shield.

------------------------------------

"So that's it," Shinji muttered. He couldn't help but smirk as he imagined using this ability. This system might be annoying, but if it keeps handing me weapons like this, I'll break through its limitations in no time.

But the only concern was this reward was place in gift section. That means it 1 time use only i cannot go al out with this if I don't want this reward to vanish in thin air..

Knock, knock.

"Yes?" Shinji called out.

"Sir Shinji, the Princess is asking for you," came a voice from outside the door.

"Ah, alright. I'll be there soon."

"Would you like me to guide you?"

"No, no, I can manage. I can sense the layers around me, so it's fine," Shinji assured.

"Okay, then. She'll be waiting in her cabin."

With a final glance at today's spin that he hadn't used yet, Shinji stepped out of his cabin. As he opened the door, other male servants emerged from their rooms as well. These were servants accompanying nobles, and while they were still servants, each had their own small private cabin, barely large enough for a bed, a table, and some breathing room, located in the lowest section of the ship.

Making his way to where the Princess was waiting, Shinji carefully navigated through the ship. Upon reaching her door, he knocked gently.

"Yes, come in," Veronica's voice echoed from inside.

"Pardon my intrusion," Shinji said as he opened the door and moved to stand by Veronica's side, puzzled as to why he had been summoned during what appeared to be a gathering with her friends.

"See? I told you, isn't he amazing, navigating so well with just his senses!" Veronica exclaimed proudly to the two girls seated opposite her.

"Wow, brother! Did you use magic, or is it some kind of enhanced sense?" asked a petite girl with two ponytails, her hair split into two colors—blue on the right and black on the left.

"Lydia, don't be rude! You should introduce yourself before bombarding someone with questions," chided a girl with curly blonde hair. "And besides, asking sensitive questions like that isn't very polite."

The girl with the two-tone hair looked flustered. "Ah, I'm sorry! My name is Lydia Solinst. I'm a human, and my weapons are a Summoner's Staff and my little friend here, Gloom." She gestured to a small shadowy creature perched near her shoulder. "I'm a descendant of a great magician, and people call me the Little Witch. I've mastered controlling my companion, Gloom."

"Isn't that a bit much detail?" sighed the blonde girl. "Well, I suppose I should go next. I'm Guinevere of House Baroque, but please call me Miss Violet. I'm also human." Standing, she curtsied with practiced elegance, lifting her skirt slightly like a typical noblewoman.

Once the introductions were done, Lydia grinned. "Now that we've introduced ourselves, Brother Knight, could you tell us who you are and how you're able to walk around so well with that blindfold?"

Shinji hesitated for a moment, slightly overwhelmed, but Veronica gave him a small nod saying "go on" as encouragement.

Taking a deep breath, he straightened up and introduced himself. "I am the blind knight of Princess Veronica. As someone who cannot see, I trust in her judgment without question, and as her knight, I will be both her sword and shield. My name is Shinji Haruko." He then bowed slightly, taking a proper knightly stance.

He continued, "As for your question about how I can walk so well despite my blindfold—it's because my other senses have been enhanced. My hearing, smell, and even my sixth sense are heightened to a significant degree. More importantly, I can sense the mana around me, allowing me to navigate without difficulty."

Hearing his explanation, Veronica broke into a cold sweat. If he can sense mana that well... then that night... She began to suspect if Shinji had recognized her actions during their previous encounters after all.
