The Police Messed Things Up
'I won't let anything happen to my family,' Yuu looked at the two. To Yuu, they still looked like his mother and sister.
"This is the police, What happened here?" Yuu looked back at the Torii gate of the shrine and saw a few police officers coming up with batons out.
'Looks like it is going to be a long night,' Yuu thought as he raised his hands after throwing the gun towards the police officers.
The two officers were on guard as they looked at Yuu who looked absolutely terrifying standing in the middle of bloodied bodies. As the only one standing in the vicinity, it wasn't a hard guess to make out that he was the one responsible for this.
"Oi, Yuu-kun what are you here?" A person in uniform who just reached the top recognized Yuu.
"Hasegawa-san," Yuu seemed to also know this police officer as they have met before.
"What are you two doing? Call for backup along with some female officers while you are at it and also call the ambulances," The guy shouted his orders after seeing the trembling women behind Yuu, the other two officers quickly scrambled to do the things he said.
"Yuu-kun, can you tell me what happened here?" The officer asked and Yuu complied telling him what happened.
After 10 minutes, Yuu was standing at the entrance of the shrine. There were three police cars parked and the injured gang members were being loaded into the ambulances.
The woman and the girl were being looked after by the female officers and a female doctor. Yuu received their thanks a while ago, he just nodded and accepted it without saying anything else.
"So, Can I go?" Yuu asked Hasegawa.
"You have given your statement so yes, that would be all," Hasegawa nodded and Yuu left the scene.
"Is it really ok to let him go, inspector?" One of the female officers beside Hasegawa asked.
"Don't ask questions Himeno, It is the Superintendent General's order," Hasegawa shook his head.
"W-What? Why was an order from the chief of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department?" Himeno was shocked.
"It is because both of the people, in this case, aren't normal," Hasegawa spoke as he looked at the jacked man being loaded in the ambulance as it left the scene.
"I know about that young master of the Shinju Gang but, what about that guy?" Himeno said, the Shinju gang was a well-known yakuza gang based in Shibuya, they have been operating for nearly 30 years now and are known to have high connections in the government.
'That guy is in danger, isn't he? That gang will surely retaliate, Some of the people he beat up will never be able to live normally again,' Himeno thought panicking a little since it would waste of such a handsome guy, there were few injured people who have to live on liquid food for the rest of their life.
Some would need to use crutches permanently, some will have to use wheelchairs and which will cause many problems for them later down the line. Hell one of them was in a fucking coma.
But even after all of this Yuu was just left alone, the things he did may be in self-defense but it would surely land him in deep waters with the law given how badly he beat them up.
"He is connected to the Hiratsuka group," Hasegawa smiled as he saw the Himeno's jaw hanging.

"H-hey that is unfair, delete that," She panicked trying to take the phone from his hand but it didn't work out.
Since the ambulances left some of the officers who needed to be stationed at the hospital while the others were supposed to take the two victims to the police station to know more about what happened, but something unexpected occurred on the scene.
"Hey, why is there another ambulance coming?" One of the officers asked.
"I-I'm very sorry, there was a traffic accident on the way which took too long to clear away," The driver apologized, getting here was hell, as out of nowhere there was too much traffic on the road and then an accident happened.
"Oh no problem, the injured have been transferred already," Himeno waved her hand since there was no need to pressure the guy who got unlucky.
"But I am the first one to arrive, the others are still stuck in the traffic," The driver looked confused.
"Eh?"
"Eh?"
Everyone was confused, if this was the first ambulance here, then who were the people who took away the injured before?
'Fucking hell, can't you do this shite when I am off duty,' Hasegawa complained in his mind but could only sigh helplessly as he turned towards everyone.
"Connect to the headquarters, we have an emergency on our hands," Hasegawa shouted getting the people to work as he held his head.
"It is going to be a long night,"
Hasegawa and the police force tried their best to track down the ambulances, but no luck, they couldn't find anything, and no CCTV footage of them after they left the scene.
Around that time all of the CCTV cameras around Chiba city were shut down together and the ambulances were never seen again the police couldn't even find any leads on them.
It was more likely that they ditched the ambulances and changed cars to transport the people they took. The question was who did this and why did they do this?
Yuu was walking back to his house in silence thinking about today's day, there was blood all over his t-shirt and sweatpants, his right knee was fully drenched in blood but he didn't care about it.
'I'll find the one who called the police later,' Yuu was too lost before to think who called for police after what happened. He didn't call for them himself since he was about to take care of those guys fully.
But he decided to leave it aside as he seemed to have reached his house. He opened the iron gates and was about to reach the door but it was opened from the inside.
"Oba-chan stop Yuu is on his way back," Yuu heard Shizuka's voice first.
"How can I sit calmly in this situation? I need to go….Yuu!" Kyouka who was talking to Shizuka turned around to see Yuu and ran up to him with worry all over her face.
"Mom," Yuu couldn't even react as Kyouka hugged him tightly.
'Damn it. Did she already hear about it?' Yuu looked at Shizuka who nodded confirming his thoughts, he was about to leave out the part where the gun was and downplay the numbers so that she won't worry but, the arrival of the police messed things up.
"Are you ok? Did you get hurt?" Kyouka noticed the blood on Yuu's clothes and got even more worried.
"I am Ok Mom, I didn't get hurt, Don't worry," Yuu hugged Kyouka back since it looked like she would actually break down at any moment.
"Thank god, thank god," Kyouka was really thankful that he was ok, she could feel his hands on her back trembling slightly.
"Don't worry I am fine," Yuu said.
"It is ok, I am not worried," Kyouka patted Yuu back to calm him down, it seemed like the incident caused some damage to him.
'The statement from the woman Yuu saved did say that the gangster threatened Yuu by saying he'll come after us,' Even Shizuka seemed shocked by what Yuu just said, it was the first time she had seen him so shaken from the time she has known him.
Yuuka was also by the door looking at Yuu, her eyes were a little red, she was crying when they heard that Yuu was attacked by some gang members when he was trying to save someone.
Even Shizuka felt her heart stop for a moment when the gun was mentioned. Yuu was strong, Shizuka knew that he could fight 10 or 12, but a gun was a gun after all.
'Although I am proud of what he had done, But that doesn't take away the urge to smack this fool on the head for worrying everyone,' Shizuka sighed as she took Kyouka and Yuu inside the house, it was better not to talk about the incident now as it has passed.
'But he definitely needs some punishment for this,' Shizuka was focused
After sending Yuu to take a bath and change clothes, Kyouka sat on the sofa covering her face. Even though she was relieved that Yuu wasn't hurt, She was still scared that something will happen to him if those yakuza came for him looking for revenge.
'Should we just leave the country? I have a few connections that could get us a new identity as well, I have saved up quite a lot of money, it shouldn't be a issue,' Kyouka had many thoughts racing through her mind.
"Geez, Oba-san I can already tell what you are thinking by the look on your face," Shizuka sat down on the sofa in front of Kyouka.
"Ok, don't look at me like that, I understand where you are coming from," Shizuka looked away from the glare she got from Kyouka.
"I heard him nearly choking up outside, If it could stop him from blaming himself, leaving the country is a minor inconvenience," Kyouka was really shocked as Yuu showed his emotional side for the first time after losing his grandfather.
