NOVEL WEB Chapter 24 :Unconscious
A portal appeared in the sky on the outskirts of a mountain range, with a village nearby. A body fell out of the portal, and instantly the portal closed, so no one in the village saw it. In the middle of the forest on the mountain was Luke's unconscious body, just waiting to be found. One of the village hunters was hunting around the area when he heard a crash. The hunter went to check the location where the sound came from. When the hunter had made it to the crash site, he saw a massive crater with black flames lingering on the edge of the crater. In the center, the hunter saw Luke, who was unconscious. The hunter ran back to the village to get help to bring Luke back to the village.
Luke awoke in a hut unlike anything he had seen before. Luke tried to get up but noticed that he was fully covered in bandages. Before Luke could reach for the bandages to take off, in came the wife of the hunter. The hunter's wife said, "I thought I heard movement going on around in here." But Luke only heard gibberish. The core inside Luke transmitted into his head that it could instantly teach Luke the language. Luke decided that it was his only option, so he agreed to transmit it to his brain. In an instant, Luke learned the new language called Veloria and understood what the hunter's wife had said. Luke asked the wife, "I just woke up. Where am I?" The wife responded, "Let me go get my husband. Hes the one who found you, but you are in the village of ShadowGrove." Luke nodded and watched as she walked out of the hut. Luke started to plan his next move in case he was in danger. What Luke needed to do first was heal his body, because until he did that, he was stuck here. Secondly, Luke needed to figure out where this was because ShadowGrove definitely isn't on Earth. Deep in his thoughts, Luke didn't notice when the hunter arrived with his wife. The hunter sat down in the chair next to the bed and started to explain how he found him. "I was out hunting in the woods, particularly the outer ring, but I heard a loud explosion deeper in the woods. So I checked it out to make sure the village was still safe, and I found a crater with you in the center of it. I didn't want to just leave you there, so I carried you back, and my wife bandaged you up while I talked to the village chief about you. Let me go get the chief for you." Luke was still confused about how he ended up here. Before Luke could worry about it, he still needed to get healed up. Luke went into his mindscape and into the core, directly heading to the library to find any spells to help heal. Once Luke made it to the center of the library, where the AI was, he asked the AI, "Give me a list of spells that can be used to heal myself." The AI gave Luke a list of the repaired spells that could heal him.
