Whispers from the Abyss

"HAHAHA I won. Time to bathe this lab in blood." Wraith exclaimed. Luke would have preferred if Greed had won due to him being the most cooperative with Luke so far. Now that the winner had been chosen, Luke agreed to let Wraith take over his body.

Back in the abyss, Luke's body was in the final stages of possession from The Master. "It's almost time. There are only two more hours until his soul is completely emptied out of his body." The Master muttered quietly. The Master turned around to the magical workbench behind it. On top of the workbench, there were glass flasks and containers full of different powders, some of which were glowing. The Master grabbed a portion vial and started mixing a potion. The Master was going to grab a silver powder that devoured the light surrounding it, making pitch black around it, but sensed an anomaly in Luke's body. Wraith had awoken. The core inside Luke's body detected this and gave off a warning,

Luke's body, now possessed by Wraith, stood up and shouted, "Get over here, maggot. Im going to drain your blood." The Master felt a chill run down its equivalent of a spine. The Master thought, "Is this fear. Ive never felt fear before." Before The Master had finished that thought, its body ran away subconsciously from its instincts and the primordial fear Wraith brought out. Once Wraith saw he had a runner on his hands, he smiled and got right to the chase due to his limited time out. In a matter of 2 seconds, Wriath managed to catch up and grab onto The Master's arm and rip it off. The Master felt a tearing sensation from its arm, which it had never felt before. The Master was in constant pain on its shoulder and thought, "What is going on? I should be invincible in this realm." The Master started to sense a law that was interfering with its regeneration. The Master tried to cleanse the area of the lingering law, but the law was too high for The Master to touch. Giving up on the law for the time being, The Master tried to slow down Wraith with any means necessary. Controlling the trees around its lab, The Master grew the roots through the floor, trying to wrap around Wraith. Once was wrapped in roots and started to get incased in wood. Once Wraith was encased, he cast a unique spell, Rage Flames, granted to him by the law of Wraith. The wood encasing Wraith burned to cinders almost instantly, and the flames still weren't done yet. Wraith commanded the flames to rapidly spread forward, evaporating everything they came into contact with on their way to The Master. The Master noticed the flames rushing towards it and racked its brain for a solution out of this.

Using the limited reality warping inside the forrest, The Master tried to warp Wraith away but felt Wraith was immune to its reality warping abilities. Wraith was closing in on The Master with less than a second between them. The Master could only try and warp itself away before Wraith could reach it. Right before The Master could fully warp away, Wraith managed to reach it and grab ahold of its only arm. The Master completed the warp, and Wraith was coming along with it on the trip. On the other side of the warping, there were the 11 other Masters of the Forest waiting for The Master after it called an emergency meeting at this spot. In the center of the Masters of the Forest appeared The Master and Wraith, holding onto its only arm. Once they both fully appeared, The Master started to tell the other Masters of the Forest what was going on: "Help, somehow our little friend turned into this when I was experimenting on him." The Master specifically did not tell the others what the experiment it did on Luke was. The other Masters of the Forest sprung into action without asking any questions as they saw one of their own needed help. Before the Masters of the Forest could cast any spell or reach The Master to help, Wraith cast Rage Flames and lit The Master's remaining arm on fire. The Rage Flames started to spread rapidly, and before The Master could react, its whole body was up in flames. The other Masters of the Forest were in shock that one of their own just died like that, especially due to the one dead being the strongest out of them all. The group was split, with half of the remaining Masters of the Forest running away and the other half staying to fight Wraith.

Wraith knew that he didn't have much time left in the possession, so instead of waiting the rest of the time out, he was going to cast one big aoe spell to get rid of the remaining Masters of the Forest. Wraith started to cast another one of his unique spells, Abyssal Fury. The remaining Masters of the Forest started to cast spells one after another targeting Wraith, but once Abyssal Fury had finished casting, it was all for naught. Abyssal Fury burst from the ground, burning all that stood in its path, starting with the spells cast by the Masters of the Forest and reaching the Masters of the Forest almost instantly. Wraith noticed this and started to laugh. "Hahahaha. I haven't felt like this in ages." But noticed that the possession time had reached its limit, forcing Wriath out and letting Luke take control again. Once Luke regained control of his body, he noticed that his whole body was sore and it hurt to move. After taking five steps, Luke started to feel exhausted and collapsed to the ground.

In the core

Wriath was telling Greed and Glutony about his time out: "It felt amazing being able to control a flesh body again. Especially being able to kill, I missed it so much…" Before Wriath could continue, everyone felt Luke lose consciousness and collapse. The core split out a warning: "Warning: Host has been drained of magical energy. Started absorbing magical energy to create a portal to safety."

Back in the abyss

The core started to greedily devour all the surrounding magical energy until it had reached the amount needed to create a portal to bring Luke safely, and it created it below Luke so he could fall through it.
