When "God" Decides To Start Over

Demigod Shana's bullets fired in rapid succession, aiming for the Gate Guardian Beast's blood red eyes.

However, the Gate Guardian Beast leaped suddenly, dodging the bullets, and landed on the plaza, glaring menacingly at Li Xiu and the others.

Just as Li Xiu was about to charge forward on the Pink Nightmare, the red light in the Gate Guardian Beast's eyes flared intensely. The blood red points of light throughout the temple suddenly became several times denser, like a dense rain of red dots hovering in the air, blocking Li Xiu and the others' vision, preventing them from seeing their surroundings clearly. The figure of the Gate Guardian Beast mysteriously vanished among the dense red points, as if it had turned invisible.

Chu Jun swung the White Lotus behind Li Xiu, incinerating the nearby red points into ashes, allowing them to temporarily regain some visible space.

But they still couldn't find the silhouette of the Gate Guardian Beast, which seemed to have disappeared into thin air.

Demigod Shana and the Jedi Knight guarded the Pink Nightmare from left and right, yet neither of them could find any trace of the Gate Guardian Beast.

Suddenly, Li Xiu sensed something amiss; his light energy surged, and the Fire Lotus Sword swung out horizontally.

With a clang, the Fire Lotus Sword struck something, emitting a piercing sound like metal being sliced.

Then Li Xiu saw a Gate Guardian Beast, glowing entirely with red light, lunging at him, but after being hit by the Fire Lotus Sword, a wound was opened on its body, causing it to leap aside. It vanished into the red points of light immediately upon diving in.

The blood that spilled from its wound transformed into a large number of red light points, which, upon encountering the air, expanded rapidly and scattered densely, akin to a swarm of bees pouring out of a hive.

Before Li Xiu could see clearly, another swishing gust of wind came from the side. Without time to control Demigod Shana and the Jedi Knight, Li Xiu had to swing the Fire Lotus Sword again, slashing toward the direction of the wind.

Another Gate Guardian Beast, engulfed in red light, charged at him from the side, its claws pinning down the Fire Lotus Sword, knocking both of them off the back of the Pink Nightmare.

The blood red claws pressed against the Fire Lotus Sword, pinning Li Xiu to the ground. Its mouth, constantly gushing blood-red points, bristled with gleaming red fangs, poised to bite at Li Xiu's throat.

Bang!

Demigod Shana fired a precise shot, hitting the Gate Guardian Beast. Under the pain, the beast turned and leaped back into the red light points, vanishing from sight.

The two Gate Guardian Beasts were like phantoms hidden in the sea of red light points, continually lunging out to attack Li Xiu and the others.

Chu Jun swung the White Lotus to disperse the nearby red light points as much as possible, preventing Li Xiu and others from being completely engulfed by the sea of bloody points.

Yet, with every breath, many bloody points were still inhaled into their bodies, making Li Xiu's eyes feel hot and severely swollen.

Not only Li Xiu, but the Pink Nightmare's eyes also glowed an unusual blood red, making it appear extremely agitated, leaping and shouting erratically, with its unicorn horn emitting a strong light.

The Jedi Knight and Demigod Shana seemed unaffected, and as Li Xiu glanced at Chu Jun, he saw no abnormalities in his eyes either.

Li Xiu knew they could no longer delay and had to quickly eliminate the two Gate Guardian Beasts.

However, under the cover of the red light points, the two Gate Guardian Beasts had become practically invisible. More difficult to handle was that they only made sound when lunging at Li Xiu and his team, making it impossible to determine their locations at other times.

Suddenly, Demigod Shana fired in one direction, and the blue light bullet pierced through the bloody light points. It seemed to hit something, and a howl was heard as a Gate Guardian Beast was struck by Demigod Shana, screeching in pain before rolling back into the bloody points, disappearing from sight.

Bang bang! Demigod Shana fired continuously while charging toward that direction. Although it failed to hit the target again, Li Xiu realized Demigod Shana could see the location of the Gate Guardian Beast.

However, curiously, Demigod Shana seemed only able to see one of the Gate Guardian Beasts, with no response to the other.

Li Xiu immediately recalled that previously a bullet from Demigod Shana had hit one Gate Guardian Beast, while the other had not been struck.

It was highly likely that the Gate Guardian Beast Demigod Shana locked onto was the one that had been hit by its bullet.

While Li Xiu was pondering, the other Gate Guardian Beast appeared to find an opening and lunged out from the bloody light points, aiming to bite his throat while he was unguarded.

Li Xiu suddenly leaned back, his legs seemingly nailed to the ground, and as the Gate Guardian Beast pounced over him, the Fire Lotus Sword in his hand blossomed with eerie red and blue light, slicing the beast in two with a single stroke.

A torrential downpour of blood-red light points poured from the wounds of the Gate Guardian Beast, drenching Li Xiu.

The Gate Guardian Beast, severed in two, fell to the ground and astonishingly transformed into red light points, dissipating. In a brief moment, the red points surged and reformed into a complete Gate Guardian Beast elsewhere.

"Damn, is this thing immortal?" Chu Jun rushed over, burning the blood-red points on Li Xiu into ashes with the White Lotus.

Meanwhile, Chu Jun placed the White Lotus above Li Xiu's head, enveloping him in the light flame of the White Lotus. Li Xiu immediately felt his swollen eyes alleviate significantly, with a cooling sensation seeming to pour into them.
