What the hell is making games in the Ninja World?

Chapter 76: Chapter 65.1 : Tsunade's Hemophobia!!

Walking down the streets of Konoha with Uzumaki Kikyo, Uchiha Kai received a notification about two points of Golden Spirit and couldn't help but fall into thought.

Who activated the Golden Spirit this time?

Could it be Uchiha Madara again?

No, this time, the game that activated the Golden Spirit is Return Home.

Hiss~~~

With the plot of Return Home, which Kage-level shinobi could have activated two points of Golden Spirit?

Uchiha Kai began to think about the kage-level ninjas currently in the ninja world, and used the system to locate the source of the Golden Spirit, determining the direction and distance, then manually pinpointing the location on the ninja world map.

What? Why use such an outdated method of positioning? Doesn't the system have map and location features?

Uh...

Could it be possible that the system does indeed have these features, but it's still stuck on Earth?

As a result, the positioning system is malfunctioning. When he opened the system's built-in map, it only showed a globe with no precise locations, and the system displayed "No Signal," like a broken GPS.

So, this glitchy system is quite abstract, and when it couldn't use the built-in map, Uchiha Kai had no choice but to resort to traditional manual methods, following the direction and distance the system indicated to find the location himself.

Fortunately, Uchiha Kai had learned these skills long ago, whether from knowledge passed down from his past life or as a ninja, where these skills are essential.

Soon enough, Uchiha Kai pinpointed the location where the Golden Spirit had appeared.

"Tanzaku Quarters? Which kage-level ninja would be there? Jiraiya?"

"No, Jiraiya wouldn't react that strongly to the plot of Return Home. So, it's..."

"Tsunade."

Uchiha Kai suddenly realized. If it was Tsunade, she would indeed be moved by the plot of Return Home, considering the sibling relationship in it, which was inspired by the story of Tsunade and Nawaki.

It wasn't meant to be a jab, but the situation of those two really was a tragic summary of the ninja world.

Despite the fact that, in the original story, most of the Konoha 12 had their parents alive and families intact, that was truly survivor bias.

As someone who was born and raised in the ninja world in this life, Uchiha Kai could clearly say that it's far more common for ninjas to lose their parents. Many are even orphans, with both parents gone.

The brutal situation of the Ninja World War and the turmoil in the ninja world led to high casualty rates among ninjas. After each Ninja World War, many families would be torn apart, and many people would become orphans.

For groups like Uchiha Kai, Minato Namikaze, and their four-person team, it was normal for all four to have no parents. The lucky ones had siblings to support each other, like Tsunade and Nawaki, which was also quite common.

However, because it was common, it was also normal for one of them to die during the Ninja World War, or for it to be a classic portrayal of the ninja world.

It was precisely because Uchiha Kai deeply understood the cruel and unhealthy environment of the ninja world that he designed the plot of "Return Home" in such a way.

There was no fiction in it; it was purely realistic.

In fact, when Uchiha Kai created this storyline, he wondered if Tsunade would be emotionally affected later on. He didn't expect her reaction to be so intense, even feeling somewhat surprised.

You see, "Return Home" is a game with bloody scenes, and considering Tsunade's hemophobia, she theoretically shouldn't be able to continue playing.

But unexpectedly, she kept playing, and the system rewarded her with coins. She played for over two hours, clearly completing the game.

After thinking for a moment, Uchiha Kai suddenly realized—she must have played a special censored version of the game, with an option to enable "Harmonized Mode," where blood is turned green.

Plus, the censored version had very low realism, so it made sense that Tsunade could continue playing.

"I wonder if this will cause Tsunade's hemophobia to fully explode. If that happens, this will really be an unexpected disaster..." Uchiha Kai muttered to himself.

The fact that Tsunade had hemophobia was a secret known only to a few. Right now, her hemophobia wasn't as severe as it would later be in the original storyline.

This princess of Konoha indeed developed hemophobia due to the deaths of her brother Nawaki and her boyfriend, Kato Dan.

However, in the original storyline, during the final stages of the Second Ninja World War, when she fought against the demi-god Hanzō, and throughout various flashbacks and stories, including Minato's legacy, she continued to be in Konoha after the Third Ninja World War and participated in medical treatments and missions, showing little fear of blood or similar things.

From this, it can be seen that between the Second and Third Great Ninja Wars, Tsunade, although having hemophobia (fear of blood), wasn't severely affected.

The reason she later became completely paralyzed by the sight of blood was most likely due to the intense and horrific end of the Third Great Ninja War.

During this time, she kept treating numerous injured people, and the constant presence of death and pain reminded her of the loved ones she had lost.

It may have even triggered memories of the deaths of two important people, who passed away in similar states.

The impact of these thoughts triggered her hemophobia to completely break out. This led to her leaving Konoha after the war and starting a wandering life with Shizune.

As a native of the ninja world, Uchiha Kai was well aware of these details. Because of this, he felt very embarrassed—if the game he had created ended up completely breaking Tsunade, it would be a huge problem.

Throughout the Third Great Ninja War, Tsunade was Konoha's most important medical ninja. She saved countless lives and played a key role in the logistics and support during the war.

If she were to be completely incapacitated, Konoha would suffer greatly, and the Third Great Ninja War would have to pay an even greater price.

Most importantly, the blame would fall on him, and this wasn't a simple matter that a group of interests could fix—when many people die, mere interests can't make up for the loss.

Human emotions are unpredictable, and with someone like Danzo around, Kai and the Uchiha clan might soon become the focus of everyone's anger.
