The next day finally arrived after a lot of things had happened, from deep emotional conversations to the choosing of a new King, and even the revelation of the truth behind Fafnir and Yggdrasil's relationship. Being on this continent truly felt longer, like years, even though it was so much shorter than that. Perhaps being inside of that Trial changed my mind a little, or maybe it made me feel like so much more time passed.
Nonetheless, with our victory came many changes as well, defeating Fafnir and his army also brought a great deal of resources and experience points, things that were majorly secondary to me after everything else, and henceforth I had only checked recently through my Grimoire.

Through this battle, I was able to absorb Fafnir's powers upon his death thanks to the power of my Spear and also of my Authority over Gluttony, fueling the growth of my body and soul.
This new ability is also born from Fafnir's powers, and those of his benefactor, that reality-warping aura he possessed is now mine, well, a weakened version of it.

And there's also this, my soul also felt much larger and stronger, richer, overflowing with pure essence of the highest quality.
Millions of runes were formed inside, making it even stronger magic-wise, and even giving me this new and strange summon, though it feels more like an attacking spell.

And lastly, there's this, my Spirit Orb… it indeed felt much stronger now, a whole Rank in a single sitting, I did guess it would happen, Fafnir was that powerful of a foe. I can now summon two more Vampire Spirits. There's a lot left to summon from my army of vampires, but even then, I feel like I am approaching the last few of them.
Now there was also the Divinity and those three Title Skills, which I suppose are fair, although I would've preferred not to be referred to as Sangre's Outer Apostle. But I suppose that, after I accepted I was the one, the Grimoire simply assimilated that information.

I heard Erika's voice behind me, as I was assessing things in my grimoire in the living room, my grimoire closed and disappeared by my mental command.
"Come on, let's go take a bath together! Elizabeth and Eleanora are waiting for you in our private bathroom upstairs!"
"I don't really need to take a bath-"
"Nope, you stink~! Come on!"
She dragged me to the bathroom against my will, even though I didn't really stink.
