Chapter 4: Stupid Outer

On a clear morning, Shazmeen and Kael continued their journey on Hikani Island. A light mist still hung in the air as they walked along a path surrounded by lush trees. "Hey... Kael, are you used to this?" asked Shazmeen in a soft voice, her eyes looking up at the clear blue sky.

Kael did not respond, just walked with steady steps. However, Shazmeen kept talking, as if enjoying the silence that only she could break.

"You know, during my time in Valhalla, I always demanded myself to be the perfect princess. I'm tired of having to pretend to be graceful and elegant in front of everyone. "Birds flew above them, chirping like music from nature.

"Seeing them free to fly high seems like fun without having to be constrained by legal issues, doesn't it?" Shazmeen continued.

Kael just stared at the calm flow of water, his lips tightly closed as if protecting a much deeper secret. After a moment, he replied in a flat voice:

Kael showed no enthusiasm for Shazmeen at all. He continued walking until they came across an old man who was struggling to push his cart. Kael quickly approached the old man and helped him push his cart.

Shazmeen, who saw this, was shocked at what Kael did to the old man.

"Huh, the fridge turns out to have a sense of humanity too, Kael rebels and traitors to the country of Vallhala and slaughterers of his own Clan? Is that really what happened?" muttered in the heart.

Shazmeen unconsciously shed tears because she saw Kael, someone who had been targeted by her father's government to be killed or captured alive, treating her well, unlike the rumors that were out there.

Shazmeen's steps stopped seeing it all, Kael realized there was something about Shazmeen.

"Hey you, why are you silent where are you babbling? Let's go, it's still a long way to go."

Shazmeen looked at him from a distance, her heart rumbling with feelings she never expected before.

"How can someone who looks so cold have such a soft heart?" she thought softly, as her eyes followed Kael's almost dance-like movements, quiet yet meaningful.

Shazmeen felt moved. In Kael's silence, she found something stronger than words; there was sincerity hidden behind his cold demeanor and seemingly distant attitude.

"Perhaps, behind his silence, lies infinite strength," she murmured to herself, feeling every moment of the journey as a lesson in the true meaning of courage and compassion.

"Ehh...why?....why am I being sensitive like this not usually a guy who looks like a homeless can make me sensitive, actually who is the problem here fucking."

Upon their arrival in a village behind a crowded Stone Mountain will be frenzied and far from the modern word there. they go around in search of food and rest for a while.

Shazmeen was very surprised that there are still villages that do not touch modernization at all like in Vallhala.

"Hey, there's a village like this, right?"

"Hey refrigerator, you gamau first rest for a moment here, it looks like the food here is delicious" said Shazmeen with a big smile. Kael's look was approving with the same uncharacteristically cold expressionless tone

"whatever you want!"

Then Shazmeen bought some grilled octopus skewers and pies that could be for their supplies later when Shazmeen was busy looking for snacks, Kael felt something was wrong at the end of the bustle of the market in the village.

"what is this ? no, isn't this not the same Eve as when I fought Exile and his flock?"

A Bandit named Mugiso is robbing a beautiful woman at the end of the market, he intends to kidnap her to be his night woman to serve the lust of the men.

"hahahaha, looks like you're the perfect woman for me to be a sex slave at my place tonight hahahaha"

"NO....NO"

The woman refused with a loud rebuff, but everyone who heard it did not react anything to it as if nothing had happened.

From the roof of the building Kael kicked the nape of Mugiso's neck so epic that he fell to the ground.

Kael gave the item Mugiso had taken to the woman, "go and be careful!"

"Tee....ttt..thank you..."the woman then left there.

Mugiso got up from the fall, wiping the dust off his clothes. With an annoyed expression, he looked around.

"Crew-crew! Who's here? Who dares to bother me?"his voice echoed in the air, full of confidence.

However, when her eyes met a well-built man standing not far from her, her confidence slowly eroded. Kael, with a sharp and cold gaze, took out her katana slowly. The sound of metal clashing sounds loud, creating an increasingly tense atmosphere.

"Everyone in the world who walks the path of evil knows my name."His voice was flat, almost emotionless, yet containing tremendous pressure.

The man nodded, his body stiffened for a moment. "Ta ... ta...no way... you?! Kael?!"His lips trembled, cold sweat ran down his temples. "The fish have arrived! I didn't have to bother looking for you in Valhalla, and it turns out you're in a remote village like this!"

With confidence, Mugiso takes a run-up, his knees bent, ready to attack. "Get ready, boy! I'm coming! Hahahahaha!"

However, behind his loud laugh, Kael remained silent. No change in facial expression, no sign of panic. He just stood there, staring at Mugiso like an executioner looking at his prey.

"Aetheris."

In an instant, the air turned tense. The wind stopped blowing, the leaves floating in the air froze in place. Mugiso felt something strange—his body couldn't move. His eyes widened in fear.

"Huh?! What happened?!"he tried to move his hand, but in vain.

Footsteps were heard on the dusty ground. Kael walked slowly closer, her katana clasped steadily in her hand. His cold eyes stared directly into Mugiso's soul, making the bandit feel a fear he had never felt before.

"I'm tired of dealing with idiots like you."His voice was calm, but it contained a deadly threat.

As the distance got closer, Kael's eyes caught something—a diamond-shaped mark engraved on Mugiso's neck. Instantly, his expression changed. His hands were outstretched, gripping Mugiso's chin firmly, forcing the bandit to look directly into his bottomless abyss-like eyes.

"This sign... where did you get it?"

Mugiso trembled, his eyes filled with fear. His body attempted to rebel, but remained locked in by Kael's power. "I-I did... I-I did..."

Kael brought her face closer, whispering a threat that made Mugiso's blood freeze. "I'll just ask you one more time. If you still keep your mouth shut... I'm going to cut off all your movers one by one."

The fastest Mugiso. His knees were shaking so violently...

CROT!

The smell of smoke wafted through the air. Mugiso just peed on himself.

Kael sighed softly, looking at him disdainfully. "Oh... so you want to keep quiet, huh?"

SLASH!

Without warning, both of Mugiso's hands were severed in a single slash. Blood gushed into the air like a fountain. The Bandit screamed in silence, his body shivering uncontrollably. However, before Kael could draw his katana towards his feet, Mugiso finally shouted.

"I-I'll talk! I'll talk! That group... they are Nyth..."

DUARRR!

Suddenly, Mugiso's head exploded into pieces. Splashes of blood and skull fragments rained down on the ground, leaving a huge headless body that collapsed like a broken doll. Kael remained silent, just staring coldly at the corpse.

"Cih... Damn it. I haven't even interrogated him more deeply."

In the distance, a black-robed man was hiding behind the ruins. His eyes narrowed, watching the incident with a serious expression. She whispered softly, her voice almost swallowed by the wind.

"Emergency shutdown code. Anyone who tries to divulge the existence of this organization... must die. Damn It, Mugiso! What were you thinking about dealing with Kael?!"

Kael glanced towards the faint voice, but the black-robed man had already disappeared in the shadows. He sighed softly, then casually took off his bloodstained shirt. He took clean clothes from a nearby house, put them on with a calm expression.

As he tidied up his collar, his lips curled thin.

"Nyth...., huh...? The Ankara badjingan he can really see the future."

Kael came out from the end of the alley. "Hey Kael..."I've already bought a lot of snacks for this trip, heh but wait for your clothes?"

"Yes, I replaced it, come on the day has started in the afternoon!"

Under the twilight sky, Kael and Shazmeen finally arrive at the top of the hill after a journey filled with complaints from Shazmeen.

"I'm tired! Why do we have to go up this far just to eat grilled squid?"Shazmeen protests as he throws himself on a boulder.

Kael, as usual, was silent. He lit a small fire, stuck the squid into a bamboo skewer, and then roasted it quietly.

Shazmeen sniffed the smell of smoke mixed with burnt spices. "Ugh ... it smells so good. Hurry up and grow up!"

Kael remained silent, turning the squid upside down. After a few minutes, he handed one skewer to Shazmeen.

Kael continued to eat without reaction.

"You're always cool, like you don't care about the world. Me? I must always be the one who is required to be graceful and elegant, people in Vallhala always call me princess or even 'Beauty Princess'."

Kael chewed slowly. "Hmph."

"I'm serious! You don't know what it's like to always be in control of other people's expectations."

Kael stared at him for a moment. "stop pretending."

Shazmeen was silent. Kael was always like that-cold, to the point, but her words always pierced to the right place.

After a while, Shazmeen let out a long breath. "Maybe one day I'll be like you."

Kael came back to bite his cum without comment.

The night began to fall, and the wind blew cool. Shazmeen looked at Kael from the tail of her eyes, then smiled a little.

"Hey, Kael."

"What?"

"I want the grilled squid again."

Kael looked at him for a moment, then turned her gaze to the last stab in her hand. After a few seconds of silence, he thrusts it at Shazmeen.

Shazmeen was shocked. "Whoa, seriously? You usually—"

"Before I change my mind."

"WELL, THANK YOU!"Shazmeen immediately grabbed it and bit triumphantly.

Kael sighed and looked at the night sky that began to be strewn with stars. At least, their journey wasn't as bad as he thought.

Amid the darkness and coldness of the night, the bonfire flickered, occasionally spraying Small sparks into the air. Beside him, Shazmeen was fast asleep, his face looking calm, resting on dry leaves with a bag as a pillow. Meanwhile, Kael sat leaning against a piece of rock, her gaze blankly staring at the flames.

Suddenly, the mechanical sound of the small communication device on his wrist trembled quietly.

"Kael, it's me. Do not show any expression and do not say a word. Our conversation is being watched. It's about him."

Ankara Nara's voice sounded clear, but this time there was something different. His tone was more tense than before.

Kael narrowed her eyes. His mind was spinning, wondering what was going on.

"What? You're not trying to trick me, are you?"the Whispering is slow.

"Listen carefully. They already know who you are. You are now their main target. As I said before, in all possible futures, your chances of survival are very small. However... right now you have become one of the three centers of Destiny."

Kael felt something creep up her spine. Three Centers Of Destiny? What else is this nonsense?

"What do you mean?"

Silence for a moment. Ankara took a deep breath before continuing.

"Their leader, Zankoku... he has the same strength as me, but stronger. I can see the future, but he... he can tear it apart, reshape it the way he wants. Every time I try to see the possibilities that involve him, my energy seems to be absorbed by him ... kheek"

Ankara's voice suddenly sounded heavy, like she was in pain.

Kael clenched her hands.

"Oi! Don't mess with me, Ankara! What exactly are you hiding?"

Ankara's voice is getting weaker. "Kael, listen to me carefully. If you meet him ... don't fight. Go as far as you can. For now, you can't die!"

The connection was suddenly lost.

Kael stared at the bonfire before her, a golden orange glow dancing in her question-filled eyes. His mind was spinning wildly. Zankoku…

The name sounded like poison, slowly seeping into his mind. They want him dead. Kael gripped the ground beneath her. Always like this…

My life has always been full of hunting. "I grew up in a world that knew only hate, surrounded by people who wanted to see him die since he was a child. No family. No home. There's nowhere to go back."

But now…

"Vallhala, the bandits, the assassins they always haunt every time in my sleep, not even just the police from Vallhala all countries are looking for my life cihh..."

Kael looked up at the night sky. Dark clouds hung, covering the stars. The sound of Shazmeen falling asleep is quiet, his breathing is regular.

"I can't even think about the future yet, but they've already tried to write it down for me?"the murmur is slow.

Suddenly, Shazmeen's breathing sound turned a little heavy. Kael glanced to the side. The girl writhed in her sleep, her forehead slightly wrinkled like she was having a bad dream.

"Kael..."

Kael gasped slightly. The sound came so softly from Shazmeen's lips.

"He said My name in his sleep?"

Kael sighed and turned her face away. He didn't want to think too deeply.

"Aetheris."

CLACK.

The world suddenly froze. Only within a certain radius, the surroundings turn out to be stagnant, like glass reflecting the previous movement. The wind stopped blowing. The trees are no longer swaying.

But there was something strange.

Normally, when he used the Aetheris, he could immediately sense all the presences within the area. But this time... there was something else.

Something he can't feel. Kael frowned.

And suddenly—

Shazameen's eyes lit up. "Finally! I'll go first!"He bit the squid greedily. "AH! Hot! Shit!"

Kael looked at him for a while, then bit off the part expressionlessly.

Shazmeen blew his overheated tongue, then leaned against the boulder behind him. "Kael, I envy you sometimes."

DUARRR!

An explosion occurred from within his own aetheric barrier, something that should have been impossible.

Kael immediately retreated, her eyes wide.

"What?"

A figure appeared from behind the explosion.

From within the gray mist that was wafting, a long white-haired man stepped out calmly. Her outfit is black, with long sleeves with a gold ornament on her chest in The Shape of a diamond. His eyes were dark red, like dim embers.

But what made Kael feel something strange the most was…

He smiled.

"Finally we meet, Kael."

Kael immediately raised her sword, but the man raised a finger.

"Calm down."

And in a moment

The world is moving again.

"Is his Aetheris ... deactivated?"

Kael is surprised that her Aetheris can be thwarted by someone, even during her lifetime there was nothing that could thwart her master.

Kael gritted her teeth.

"Who are you?"he asked in a cold tone.

The man narrowed his eyes, as if judging something from Kael. Then he smiled slightly, lowering his head slightly as a greeting.

"My Name Is ... Zankoku."

Kael woke up with gasps. His eyes widened, his body wet with cold sweat. It was just a dream.

However, it feels too real.

His hands trembled as he grabbed the handle of his katana lying beside him. His chest rose and fell rapidly, trying to understand what had just happened.

He turned his attention around. The bonfire was still burning dimly, creating shadows that danced in the trees. Shazmeen was still asleep beside him, his face peaceful, not disturbed in the slightest.

Kael swallowed.

Zankoku.

The name was still ringing clearly in his head, as if someone was whispering directly into his mind.

He wiped his face, trying to regain his composure.

"Fucking dream..."the murmur is slow.
