Unbehaved Hufflepuff

Chapter 9 The strange floating spell

"Lumi Guriel?"

A handsome senior knocked on the door and entered the dormitory.

The senior saw Lumi eating and smiled apologetically. This freshman who had just thrown the sorting hat impressed everyone.

"Sorry, I'm Cedric Diggory. I'm sorry to have disturbed your meal. I think you must be very hungry. Remember to come to the lounge later. The Dean has something to tell you."

After saying that, he left and closed the door.

"Oops, you're being targeted."

The roommates all cast sympathetic glances.

No matter what kind of person the dean is, it is definitely not a good thing to be called in on the first day of school.

Especially since Lumi dropped the sorting hat before.

After quickly finishing the bread in his hand, Lumi took a sip of water and walked to the lounge.

There was only one kind lady in the lounge at this time.

Pomona Sprout is a master of herbal medicine and a very gentle person.

When she saw Lumi, she waved kindly.

Although he understood that this was his dean, Lumi was still 70% wary of her.

The contact between the buttocks and the sofa was not considered passionate, just like holding hands.

"Son, I see you didn't have an appetite at the banquet. Is it because the school food doesn't suit your taste?"

She looked at Lumi with concern in her eyes.

"Sorry, it's my own fault, Dean."

"Just call me Professor."

"Okay, Professor."

The comfortable environment constantly made Lumi wary.

Sprout looked at Lumi, and it was very easy to see the vigilance of the boy in front of him.

"I think you can relax a little, there's no safer place in the world than Hogwarts."

After saying this, Sprout stepped forward and patted Lumi on the shoulder, and said gently: "There is no danger here, you can try to trust other people."

"I will, Professor."

Lumi was really not used to this scene and was very stiff.

"I hope tomorrow's breakfast will suit your taste. I would recommend a glass of warm pumpkin juice in the morning."

After leaving these words, Sprout patted Lumi on the shoulder and left, giving Lumi a relatively quiet space.

After she left, Lumi relaxed.

The whole person collapsed on the sofa, and the contact between the butt and the sofa finally became the perfect companion for you and me.

The comfortable sofa and warm fireplace gave Lumi an extraordinary feeling. As sleepiness gradually increased, Lumi's vigilance slowly dissipated.

Sprout hid at the door of the lounge and looked at Lumi who was gradually falling asleep. The corners of his mouth were raised and he looked at him gently with loving eyes.

After watching for a while, Sprout slowly left.

In the principal's office, Sprout was reporting to Dumbledore.

Tell Dumbledore Lumi's reaction and current state.

Dumbledore sighed slightly after hearing this.

"I have also heard about Lumi's family situation, but he is too strong, which made me make a wrong judgment about him."

As he spoke, he took out Lumi's family information and handed it to Sprout.

The simple information is clearly written.

Lumi Gugliel was born on April 1980, 1986. His father, José Gugliel, was a powerful wizard who died fighting a fire dragon in 1983. His mother, Louise Guilir, was a Muggle who died of gas poisoning in 1986. In the same year, Guilil's pastry shop closed. The guardian is Ruf Chudar, the one-eyed man, who adopted Lumi Gugliel in 1986. In 1991, Coulier's pastry shop reopened. Lumi Coulier became the youngest rich man in , and his assets monopolized half of Magnolia Road.

A few simple sentences sum up his life.

Although this information is only before Lumi receives the admission letter.

"I still remember how high-spirited Jos was back then."

Lumi's father belonged to Gryffindor and was a powerful and brave wizard.

For the sake of his family, he did not join the Order of the Phoenix, but chose to stay away from Ying Kingdom. It is said that he went to France alone, hoping to capture wild fire dragons, but unfortunately he received news of his death not long after.

"I thought Lumi would go to Gryffindor and follow in his father's footsteps."

Dumbledore smiled, not knowing whether it was regret or luck, "At least Hufflepuff's life can bring him warmth."

"Yes, Dumbledore."

Sprout nodded in agreement.

"It's getting late, you should go and rest, Pomona."

"Good night, Dumbledore."

The sun rose as usual the next day.

Lumi is woken up by Cedric who is passing by.

After thanking him, Lumi followed his roommate to the auditorium with his things.

Lumi repeatedly confirmed the safety of the food and saw that there was no difference after his roommate ate the food, so he chose the same food as his roommate, only eating a little bit each time, and the staple food was still the prepared bread.

Sprout on the high platform was very happy and did not hesitate to look at him tenderly.

Lumi's first class was Charms. The short Professor Flitwick stood on a high podium and demonstrated spells to the students.

"Say 'Wingardim Leviosa' to me."

"Wingardim Leviosa."

Professor Flitwick was pleased to hear that some of the students could recite the right spell, and waved his wand again.

"Watch my wrist."

The students again began to learn the hand gestures for casting spells.

Finally making sure that every student could recite the spell correctly and wave the wand, Professor Flitwick asked the students to practice on their own with feathers.

Lumi waved his wand lightly, "Wingardim Leviosa!"

The feather floated smoothly.

"Oh! Great float..."

Professor Flitwick, who was just about to praise him, saw the floating feather being slapped firmly on the table.

Lumi:?

Lumi, who did not believe in evil, waved his wand again, "Yingardim Leviosa!"

The feather successfully floated, but within a second it was slapped on the table again.

Lumi was confused.

The gestures are right, the spells are right, and there's nothing wrong with the magic output.

But why does this thing fall down after flying?

Professor Flitwick was also puzzled by this question.

Professor Flitwick walked up to Lumi, stared at Lumi's gesture, and said, "Do it again."

Lumi did as he was told.

The feather flew up for half a second, snap!

It was like a piece of glass had been slapped on it.

"Pretty standard levitation spell."

Take Lumi's wand and cast the levitating spell. This time it was very successful. Even though the wand was not quite right, it was still successfully cast.

Professor Flitwick didn't understand why this happened, but Lumi had no problem casting three spells in a row, so it didn't make sense not to give him a reward.

"One point for Hufflepuff."

It's not about the wand, it's not about magic.

Eliminate all wrong answers, and whatever is left, no matter how outrageous, can only be the truth.

"That should be my problem, Professor."

After Lumi finished speaking, he glanced at the students around him, pursed his lips, and said, "Professor, please take this point back. I have not completed the floating spell."

"Oh no, no, no, Lumi, you successfully cast the floating spell, and it was a completely textbook-level operation."

Flitwick was almost killed by Lumi.

Will the college points given away be taken back?

Rumor has it that who am I, Flitwick?

"You deserve this point, but I think you should let Dumbledore check your body. I'm afraid your body is the cause of the magical abnormality."

"Thank you Professor Flitwick, I will be there."
