Chapter 144: Teahouse Opening!
Soon the next day came in…
The rays of the sun penetrated the window, landing on Noah's face. He frowned and moved his hands to cover his face.
[Ding! $2,300 has been credited to the account ending in xx04. Current balance: $1,048,969]

After checking the system's notification, Noah up from bed.
After doing around a minute of morning stretches, he headed to the bathroom.
He brushed his teeth, washed his face and did his daily routine.
He then grabbed a gym towel, placed it on his shoulder and headed to the gym.
"That was refreshing," Noah muttered silently, wiping off the sweat from his face.
He had done his strength and conditioning early in the morning because the day would be long. It took him around an hour and a half to finish the session.
He headed towards the shower, while today's plans were in his head.
...
Noah finished his shower quickly. Feeling refreshed after the shower, he quickly got dressed and left.
He grabbed his keys off the table, double-checking to ensure he had everything, and then headed out toward his restaurant.
Arriving at the restaurant, he found it busier than usual. He took in the atmosphere for a moment, nodding in approval, before heading inside.
"Get me some english breakfast With some tea, thank you," he requested as he closed the menu, handing it over.
"Yes, boss. It'll be ready soon," the server replied, writing down his order.
After a few minutes, his breakfast arrived, perfectly arranged on the plate.
The English breakfast was a classic. It contained a generous portion of savoury sausages which sat, beside the golden hash browns, perfectly poached eggs, sautéed mushrooms, and a small bowl of baked beans.
The tea was a light Earl Grey, steeped just enough to bring out its citrusy aroma.
"I need to introduce my tea to the restaurant, it will further boost both brands," He thought, in his mind as he started eating.
Finishing his meal, he set down his napkin and got up.
He glanced around for a moment, then decided to head into the kitchen to say hello to his mother, who was working that morning.
Pushing open the door, he found her slicing vegetables.
"Noah?" she exclaimed, looking up with surprise as he entered.
"What are you doing here?"
"Just thought I'd stop by and say hello since I was nearby," he replied casually, giving her a warm smile.
She set down her knife, wiping her hands on her apron.
"Awe, sweetheart. You didn't have to do that" She said with a warm smile on her face.
Noah smiled back, "When do you finish today?"
"Hmm, I finish quite early today, around 1 pm." She said, after some contemplation.
"Why do you need anything?" She asked curiously.
"No, it's just that we are opening the teahouse today. I was wondering if you would like to come?" He said, shaking his head slightly.
"We will open it at around 2 pm." He added
"Oh really? Of course, I will be there."
"Are you going to meet up with your dad?"
"Yeah, I'll be heading back home soon."
She grinned, her excitement barely contained. "I'm so proud of you, honey. You have been working hard."
"Thanks, Mom," he replied, his voice warm with sincerity.
"Well, I better get back to work. Can't have customers waiting," she said, picking up her knife again. "See you later, sweetheart."
"See you soon," he replied, giving her a small wave before stepping back out of the kitchen.
The workers did not complain or say anything, including the head chef.
This slightly surprised Caroline, but she shrugged it off and continued working thinking it was normal.
Noah parked his car and ordered an Uber to take him to a dealership.
"It's finally time to get an SUV," he thought, getting into the car and closing the door behind him.
Thirty minutes later, he arrived at the Merc dealership, stepping out of the Uber and taking in the gleaming showroom ahead.
Through the glass windows, he could see rows of pristine SUVs, coupes, and convertibles, all polished and ready for potential buyers.
As he stepped inside, a young woman with a warm smile and professional demeanour quickly approached him.
"Welcome to the Merc-Benz dealership, sir," she greeted him, her eyes subtly noting his Hermes suit and confident posture.
"Do you have an appointment with us today?"
"No, I don't," Noah replied, offering a polite smile back.
"No problem at all, sir," she replied smoothly. "Is there a particular model you're interested in, or would you like an overview of our models?"
"I'm specifically looking for an SUV," he said, glancing around the showroom. "My priorities are size and comfort, mostly. I have a few models in mind, the G-Class, the GLE, and the GLC."
"Excellent choices," she said, her enthusiasm evident in her voice.
"Why don't I show you each one? We can go over the specifications, options, and pricing. This way, you'll get a better idea of which one suits your needs."
"This here is the Mercedes-Benz GLE," she began. "It's incredibly spacious and comfortable, especially for city driving or long road trips. This is the 2025 model and has been updated with a hybrid engine option."
Noah raised an eyebrow. "Hybrid, huh? What kind of power are we talking about?"
"The GLE offers a 3.0-liter inline-six engine with an electric motor boost, which brings it to around 429 horsepower," she explained.
"It's a bit lighter than the G-Class and slightly more fuel-efficient due to its hybrid build."
"Interior-wise, you still get premium leather and an advanced infotainment system similar to the G-Class, but it has a smoother, more modern design."
He nodded, glancing inside.
"The base model starts around $80,000," she replied. "A fully equipped version with all the premium packages would cost closer to $120,000. And, of course, any additional customizations you want, would be added to that."
"Alright. What about the GLC?"
She smiled, moving him over to a smaller, more compact but equally luxurious SUV in a stunning deep blue finish.
"Here's the Mercedes-Benz GLC," she said. "It's a smaller option, compared to the other two models you are interested in. But still very comfortable, with a more city-friendly design."
"Under the hood, we're looking at a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine with around 255 horsepower," she continued.
"It's more fuel-efficient than the others and very easy to control, making it a great choice if you're mostly driving in urban areas."
"The base model starts around $60,000," she replied. "And the fully loaded version with all customizations would run closer to $85,000."
"Okay. Lead me to the G-class."
"Sure," She nodded.
