Chapter 17: ACT [17] - Reincarnation
Back with the survivors..
Each survivor was brought into a massive hallway, the hallway had written scripture and verses from the Bible. The three monsters were confused, not knowing anything about this as they never heard of the Bible, however, the souls did know of who the real king of everything was. Nervous, each one walked down the hallway, by themselves as the golden statues and decoration glistened in the light beckoning from the church windows.
First was Sans, the laziest of them all, though he was quite overwhelmed by everything as he was not expecting all these events to happen. Each step echoed, reminding him of the judgement hall.. It was time for the judge of the underground, to get judged himself. Arriving at the end of the hallway, he was stopped by an invisible force, his overwhelmed emotions calmed down and washed away. "H-Huh?" He said looking up only to see a gargantuan 17ft figure sitting on what looked to be a throne.
The figure adorned glorious armor with jewels socketed to certain regions of the leggings, gloves and chestplate. He had 4 wings, however, an optical illusion made anybody see many more wings as they overlapped with one another. Behind him was a massive painting of what looked to be God, his face being incomprehensible to anybody, even the angels.
"Speak." Said the angel, his voice sounding full of authority, yet it didn't feel threatening and was instead calming. Sans spoke "H-Heya, I am sans, sans the skeleton and i've been brought here with others.. t-though they don't seem to be with me." The angel spoke "You are correct, they are all speaking to me as we are having our own conversation." Sans was confused "How? how can you listen to multiple people at once and not get confused?" The Angel said "We are capable of comprehending the impossible and regardless of complexity, we can understand it perfectly without any flaws."
Sans scratched his head, hoping to not insult the angel by asking him this, however, the angel already knew what he was going to ask, so he stood up and responded. "Nailix, I am the emperor of this place and the grand regent of Heaven. For you see, our Lord, God, is in a place where nobody can reach, so he has created me, in perfect image, to protect any and all."
Emperor Nailix, the Almight-
*We do not need an introduction of statistics, for my capabilities and stats are incomprehensible to even the highest orders.
Sans instinctively went on his knees and bowed down, it wasn't of his volition to, but his body knew that it was of the utmost respect to give to the Emperor. "What is my purpose here, Nailix?" Sans raised his head to look up at his face, but Nailix's face was just a blank slate. "You will all redeem yourselves and will become the next protectors. You will not act out of spite or revenge, but of gratitude to other people."
Nailix walked closer to him, kneeling down himself as he put his hand over his shoulder. "You will not be known as 'Sans' anymore, but as something much greater. You will be allowed to use your name as you wish, but you will gain the title of 'The Fallen Arbiter'." Sans just chuckled, surprised he'd get such a title. "Wow, okay, i am..i dont really know what else to say Nailix."
Nailix was then back at his throne, standing. "Say, Sans, how does it feel to not be tired? Have you felt the need to fall asleep ever since coming here?" Sans responded. "Huh, you've got a point, i do not feel the need to fall asleep at all, or a sense of fatigue like i usually did at my post." Nailix then nodded. "Good, this is what you'll be feeling like for the rest of your new life, now, are you ready for your reincarnation?"
Sans looked around, nodding. Four Nailix's then formed around Sans, each one having one of their hands over him. The Nailix's spoke in unity, in a language where one couldn't understand. Sans's body was lifted into the air, his eyes closing as a bright white light consumed him.
Sans grew, his miniscule size of 4 '5 now became 6ft as his old clothes were replaced by a glorious robe, the robe having miniature gaster blasters around the waist as his torso had a sigil of a gaster blaster and behind it a cathedral window. His white eyes now radiating a faint yellow as a tiny flame could be seen burning off to the sides of the eyes, as if the eyes themselves were burning. Next to his eyes were a set of smaller eyes and at the top of his head was a larger eye that remained closed. The eye having luminescent, interlocking wheels around itself. Finally, behind him Sans also now had four wings of which he could retract and expand and as for his slippers, he now had sandals instead.

*Incomplete, the skeleton must now practice and improve in order to show his new title true glory
Nailix spoke, his voice making Sans fall to his knees one last time. "You will now fulfill your duty of improving yourself and those around you. As a final gift, I give you one last wish, however, you cannot use the wish to revive the fallen." Sans looked to the ground, getting one last picture of his brother in his head, he then turned to look up. "I wish for an indestructible portrait of my friends and brother, please." Sans said, consumed by grief, this made Nailix shed tears, feeling Sans's pain. "Understood."
A portrait of Papyrus, Alphys, Undyne, Asgore and the rest were present in the portrait, each one showing their characteristic and personality within it. Sans then stood up, holding the portrait close to him. Sans turned around to say his goodbyes to Nailix "I will make you and the Lord proud." Nailix, smiling, responded back. "You already are."
