Chapter 16: ACT [16] - Future Plans
Error sans looked at the hand disappear back into the rift as he looked at his surroundings and then at the ground, he let out a disappointed sigh. "I guess this is goodbye to you timeline, your code will forever be gone, away from THAT." He raised his arm, summoning a singular bone in it as he then impaled it into the ground. Everything around him got consumed by a conglomerate mess of 0's and 1's and the entire universe of which this timeline resided in was now a blank, white canvas of nothingness.
He put his hands into his pockets, walking into the Anti-void, pondering what had just happened. "I need to inform Ink about this situation." was the last thing he said, before leaving the erased universe behind.
Within the Anti-Void Error had cut open a rift to what looked to be a new place. Another skeletal figure stood there, drawing on what looked to be a piece of paper. "INK!" Error shouted, this made Ink mess up whatever he had been drawing as he was startled. "Hm? Error? What're you doing here? Have you come to cause trouble again as usual.." Ink was sitting in the air, levitating, glaring at Error.
"No." Error responded bluntly, "I have come to warn you about an anomalous individual." Ink's eyes changed shapes to stars, clearly showing interest. "Another anomaly!? You mean i'll be able to meet them?" Error, being annoyed, thought understanding as he knew Ink was too oblivious sometimes. "You will most definitely NOT see him, he turned a branching path of the original timeline into shambles." Ink's face turned slightly more serious, feeling the gravity of the situation.
"What happened?" Error opened what looked to be a panel, he gained the information of the timeline he erased. "He turned everybody he met into abominations of power.. These anomalous abominations are NOT to be taken lightly as they most definitely have the power to take down even the toughest of timelines. Especially them." He pointed towards Chashkal.
Ink would look at the endless gateways to all the timelines within the doodle sphere, clenching his large weaponized brush in his hands. "I'll begin with the protocol." Ink said, floating up into the sky and encasing Ink-like chains all over each timeline's gateway. This ensured safety for the timeline and a form of alarm system for Ink to see if someone broke through the defensive layer. "Go warm the higher ups of the multiverse, they need to know of the upcoming threat." Error nodded, vanishing into his portal.
Ink just sat there, pondering to himself. "Who would create such a monstrosity of hatred and destruction.."
Meanwhile..
As the survivors arrived at their destination, they were greeted by a large, flat, landscape of clouds. Flowey asked "Is this supposed to be heaven or something? It doesn't look that grand and interesting to me." The angelic being just continued walking, responding to the flower. "It is indeed not yet heaven, Asriel, we are far from heaven, for you see, you can't just get there by simple means of travel." Flowey, surprised, stretched out their head. "H-HOW DO YOU KNOW MY NAM-" The angel cut them off. "I know everybody from here, for our knowledge is fed to us by the lords."
Sans butted in into the conversation "so you are basically given knowledge? isn't it overwhelming to you?" The angel just chuckled. "No, not at all, we do not have those limitations that other beings have. We are made in the image of our Father." He clasped his hands together in a prayer like stance, looking up. The others remained silent, not wanting to ruin his prayer moment.
Mettaton then spoke quietly "Angel darling, what is our purpose here beside's being safe?" The angel then turned around to them, smiling. "Well, I'm glad you asked that. Be not afraid, for your roles will become very important in the future." The angel walked over to the gates, the wings around his eyes spread out only to reveal a blank face. The survivors couldn't comprehend his face so they were just staring at a white box covering it. "Each one of you will enter and will be met with a corridor. At the end of the corridor you'll be met with an Angel."
His smile faded. "However, do not, in any circumstance, insult or joke around this angel, for he is a serious individual and not everybody gets to come and meet with him." The others looked at each other, nodding. The angel's smile then returned "Good! Well, once you enter, you will all be separated."
Within the depths of the dark rift..
As Xilian was pulled into the unknown, he was presented to a dark canvas in front of him. Xilian was then set down, as the dimension itself spoke, its voice was a cacophony of noises that could barely be distinguished. "You failed to reap the essence of everything within the timeline and with this failure, you will be tasked to hunt down the being who attempted to puppeteer you."
The statue of Xilian started cracking, as he ripped off the very rocky substance of which coated him, the green eyes under the ragged cloth glew with such radiance, that it lit up a large portion of the dark place they were in. Behind Xilian were demonic figures, some standing at a height of 7ft and others towering like mountains. Xilian simply nodded, and looked down at the ground, he dug his hands into the darkness, ripping it open and on the other side it looked to be another timeline, however, this timeline was not the original, or one of its branches.
Ripping his hand through, he tore through the darkness and went on his feet. He looked up only to see a beautiful starry sky and around everything had already been destroyed.
