Transmigrated into Another Apocalyptic World (BL)

Chapter 82

"Oh, most of those guys that were following us won't be following anymore?" Luciel asked when they arrived at where they parked their car.

He could see that the cars that were ready to leave were only their cars with only 2 additional cars.

"They decided to stay here for a bit and leave together with the people here. The people that were left had some families in the north, so they still decided to come with us," Treyton explained.

"So, when will the other group leave here?"

"They'll try to wait for the army to arrive."

"The army?"

"Yes, there's an army base in the northern direction, approximately 5 towns away from here. Two people from this settlement will join us because we are also going to check the situation there."

"Oh, I see."

Going to the army base is indeed a good idea. At least they could gather more information by going there, especially if Treyton knew some people there, which he certainly had.

With fewer cars with them, they were able to move faster than before.

Treyton had said at the beginning that he wouldn't take care of those that were going to follow them, but throughout their whole journey they had actually been very considerate to those that were following them; that's why they weren't moving at a faster pace.

Now that all the others are gone, they didn't need to assign some people to look out for the others and could fight more freely because they weren't taking care of a lot of people.

Treyton's group was able to kill more zombies, and when stopping by some shops at the roadside, they could even gather more things because they just had to guide Theo to get the things they needed.

So, in just a day and a half, they were only one town away from the military base that Treyton and the other's mentioned.

"Ok, after cleaning up this store, let's have our lunch here," Treyton said.

The others went down to clean up the zombies first, just like always.

Luciel could see that they were really getting better and better. The time they cleaned up zombies was getting faster.

The way they dealt with the zombies was also getting better. They were also becoming more proficient in using their abilities.

Their abilities were also getting stronger because they kept training while they traveled, and they were also constantly absorbing the zombie crystals they were getting from the zombies.

Treyton was also trying to master how to continue absorbing energies around him while using his abilities, but it seemed that he hadn't mastered it yet because he still kept pausing from time to time before resuming his practice.

"It seemed that gathering energy while fighting is even harder," Treyton said as soon as he came back after dealing with some zombies.

"You tried it just now? Of course, it would be harder when you're using it while fighting. You need to use it more before you could successfully use it in the battle," Luciel said.

He had to get used to using it in his daily life before he could successfully use it easily in battle. It is better when he can use it until he can do it without giving it too much thought so that it wouldn't interfere when he's fighting.

"I know. It's actually also difficult when you are doing it while doing other things. How did you master it easily?" Treyton asked.

"I did it because I simply don't want to just meditate for a long time. It's better to play while absorbing energies than to just sit and meditate," Luciel answered nonchalantly.

What he said was actually only true in this life. It's indeed better to play or watch a movie while absorbing energy than to just sit and meditate.

However, in his previous world, it was only natural for him to master how to do it because he needed it for survival.

They don't have any luxury to rest for a long time before they need to head out to fight monsters again and again.

So, he needed to master how to absorb energy while fighting so that he could last longer.

Even though the energy he could absorb was very little because it had to be purified by his contract plants first, he still needed to learn how to do it. Even just having those few energies with him during battle was already enough for him to last longer.

If Treyton was also in a situation where he needed to continuously use his abilities in battle, his progress would surely be faster when it comes to mastering such a thing.

However, he doesn't wish for their situation to get worse than what they were in now just for Treyton to master how to absorb energy while doing other things.

"I see. Anyway, let's go and have our lunch," Treyton said without dwelling too much on his answer.

They went to the grocery store they had just cleaned up, but Nina and the others were still cooking their lunch, so he went around the grocery store with Theo and the others.

Theo already started learning how to properly get supplies for the team because he had already been doing it at several grocery stores and other shops.

At first, as soon as he saw something, he wanted to put all of it in his space, especially after seeing food.

It seemed that he could still vividly remember that they had lacked food and other things when he was taken care of by Jane, so he wanted to put all the food he saw in his space.

Treyton and the others had to teach him to always leave at least half of the food they encountered for other people who might also stop by the places they stopped by.

They taught him to get half of the food they encountered and store more useful things that the other survivors don't care about.

When Luciel went with Theo around with Theo and the others, he saw that Theo was faithfully following what the others taught him and was always putting only half of all the food products they were seeing.

So, when he asked Theo to put all his favorite snacks in his space, Theo kept looking at him without putting more food in his space.

He had to teach Theo that it's okay to put more of their favorite foods into his space because it's not as long as they wouldn't do it to all the food they would be encountering.

Theo didn't even follow his words immediately and had to look at Treyton to ask if it was okay.

It seemed that in Theo's eyes he wasn't that believable when it comes to such things as food and other basic things.

Only when Treyton and the others said that it's okay before he started putting the snacks that Luciel pointed out into his space.

Tsk, he really doesn't understand why Theo wouldn't believe what he was saying with such simple things and rather found Treyton and the others to be more reliable.

Well, the things that he wanted were followed anyway, so he didn't care about it.

He and Treyton weren't putting a lot of things in their space for the time being because they were filling up Theo's space.

They couldn't use their space in public anyway, so they had to put more things in Theo's space first.

So, of course, Theo's space needed to have more of the things he wanted so that he could always ask him for them if he wanted to have them.

"Theo always remembers that your space is your own ability, so you can always put more things you want into your space.

For example, putting more of your favorite food, clothes, toys, and other things. If it isn't for you, it can also be for Sophie, Jane, or other people that you like.

Treyton and the others only taught you to always leave half for other people that will come in later. So, you can always add more things that you want in your space as long as you still remember to leave something behind.

Of course, one of the most important things is to always do what your big brother likes and put more of it in your space," Luciel said.

He had to teach Theo to become a bit more selfish because it seemed that he knew the value of his space, but he doesn't use it that much for his own advantage. It's his own ability, so he had to have more freedom with the things that he was putting inside.

"What you said was already good; why do you want to mess it up by others in the last sentence?" Treyton said.

"Messing it up? No, the last sentence I said is the most important thing," Luciel answered.

Treyton wanted to say something more, but they were interrupted by Derek, who came to report.

"Boss, a lot of cars are coming from the west."
