Level 2 zombies were the zombies that have enhanced physiques. Their speed and strength were almost 5 times stronger or more compared to level 1 zombies.

Their appearance was quite early compared to what was written in the novel. In the novel level 2, zombies didn't appear just after 2 weeks after the start of the apocalypse. Or they might have appeared, but Treyton and the others just encountered them later on.

The speed of those 2 baby zombies he encountered was clearly faster than what was written in the description of the novel on the strength and speed of level 2 zombies.

If all level 2 zombies had that speed, then a lot of people would definitely die because of them.

After he finished washing up, he directly went to where Treyton and the others gathered.

They also found out that the skin of those that were able to run after our cars had tougher skin compared to those zombies that were very slow.

The most important thing they found was the appearance of these crystals in their heads," Treyton said while removing the cloth covering some crystals on the table.

"The 2 biggest crystals were found from the 2 baby zombies, and the other smaller crystals were found from those that were capable of running after us.

"And no crystals were found from those zombies that were moving very slowly," Treyton added.

"Did you find out what they are?" Luciel curiously asked.

"Not yet, but Jasmine said that they contain some energy," Treyton said while looking at the crystals.

"Derek was even eagerly volunteering to try those crystals to see if they were really like some zombie apocalypse novels he had read.

He wanted to see whether they could be absorbed in it, just like absorbing it through their surroundings," Treyton added.

It seemed that Derek was really someone who had read a lot, especially cultivation novels.

Luciel, of course, knew what those crystals were because he had already read about them in the novel.

In his previous life he was always killing monsters, so he was envious of the people depicted in the novel who had another source of strength just by defeating the zombies that have crystals inside them.
