Transmigrated into Another Apocalyptic World (BL)

Chapter 40: Back on the road

After listening to what Koen said, Luciel was finally sure that one of the annoying characters in the early chapter of the novel went with other people earlier.

Those with superpowers in the food hall that left earlier were also present in the novel he read. Even though they all gained some powers, their characters were all a little bit problematic.

Myla's sister Jasmine probably didn't join them even though they invited her because she knew that they might be up to no good.

In the novel, they all joined Treyton, but they caused a lot of trouble for him afterwards. Fortunately, all of them already left, unlike in the original novel.

It was really a good decision to depart later than going out early. At least Treyton already got rid of some troublesome people in his future group.

"I see. Don't worry, we already dealt with all the zombies in front of the food hall and the hallways going to the first floor," Yang said.

"Really? Wow," Koen said in amazement.

"We will be leaving after resting for a bit; those who wanted to leave can follow us, but be sure to tell everyone that we won't be responsible for their wellbeing. We are going north so they could surely follow us if they also wanted to go north or follow us until they could find a shelter to stop by," Treyton said clearly.

"O-okay, I will go and tell them," Koen said. He stood up and went to talk to the others.

Afterwards, Koen came again and said that everyone would be following them.

Luciel wasn't surprised by their decision. He could see that some were a bit dissatisfied with something, and they were all afraid, but they still said that they would be following them.

They already understood that Treyton's group were powerful people, as they could deal with all the zombies in front of the food hall as well as in the hallways. They immediately understood that their chances of survival would be higher if they followed such a group instead of just staying in the hotel waiting for rescue while starving to death.

After all of them rested for a while, they started wearing their outerwear again, ready to go. Myla and her sister who were talking to each other also came over as soon as they saw that they were already preparing to go out.

After everyone was prepared, all of them went out. They were able to reach the first floor without taking much time because they already dealt with the zombies when they were going upstairs. They were only dealing with some scattered zombies here and there.

All the others who came with them had pale faces, and someone couldn't even help but scream when they saw some zombies rushing towards them. However, even though they were all afraid, nobody gave up but continued to follow them.

They were all rushing downstairs, so he had to carry Ashlee because she wasn't able to keep up with the speed of everyone while they were rushing downstairs.

All of them went to the parking lot in front of the hotel to go back into their cars. With the help of the barricades, at least no zombies were able to go near their cars while they were inside the hotel.

Luciel, Ashlee, and Treyton directly went inside the cars while the others removed the barricades so that they could drive out.

However, while the others were still removing the barricades they put, two cars drove past them while being chased by a lot of zombies.

The zombies that were chasing the cars turned to them because they knew there were more people by their side.

Seeing the zombies that were suddenly coming to them, Luciel can't help but curse again, "D@mn."

If he knew the people who were being chased by the zombies, he would surely give them a lesson.

With the number of zombies suddenly pouring in front of them, they would surely be unable to drive out if they were surrounded.

"Get in your cars quickly!" Treyton also shouted to those that were still in the cars.

Luciel immediately judged that with their speed they wouldn't be able to rush out and would just be surrounded by the zombies.

He immediately opened his backpack and fiddled with the two speakers he brought out.

"Treyton, press the full volume and throw them at the side," Luciel said to Treyton, who was looking at the situation outside and contemplating what to do.

Luciel passed the speaker to Treyton, and Treyton also reacted immediately. He immediately threw the speakers in the direction where they were chasing the two cars a while ago.

The loud music rang and immediately attracted the attention of the zombies who were trying to block them. The zombies went straight to where they heard the sounds.

"Drive!" Treyton ordered.

Zam, who was in the driver seat, also drove out as soon as he saw that the zombies in front of them were going away. The others also followed their car as soon as they could.

"Nice timing, Ciel. Thanks to you, we weren't surrounded," Treyton praised.

If they were surrounded by the zombies, then they would need to fight, and they might have a lot of injured people if that happened.

"I used two of my memory cards there, which are full of music. You need to replace them," Luciel said while looking at Treyton unhappily.

Luciel used his time transferring music to those memory cards, but now all his efforts were wasted, so he was really unhappy.

"Don't worry, we will go and look for those later on. We will surely have more storage with a lot of songs in them," Treyton said in appeasement.

"Be sure to find a lot of them as soon as possible," Luciel said.

He was still unhappy with it, but he was the one who brought out the speakers, so he really can't say anything more.

He just brought out his phone and played a game vigorously to ease his mood.
