Chapter 23: Bullied
The first person who suffered from her needle in this world was herself, it was part of the journey of a physician's training. She decided that was enough training for the day.
Putting down the needle in her hand, Qin Yan walked to the kitchen and opened the fridge. Eggs, pig trotters, bovine heart tubes… she would use these to practice tomorrow. The soft membrane of the egg as well as the flesh of the bovine heart would be a real challenge to her skill. They would help improve her skill greatly.
Qin Yan then walked to the dining room to have dinner. Today, she was alone in the house. Her family had gone to attend a banquet and as usual she was not included. She felt that this was good as it protected her from the chaos and gave her time to hone her skills.
She then returned to her room and took out the herbs that she had bought from the pharmacy. Now she also had to focus on her face. Being a top beauty in her previous life, Qin Yan herself could not tolerate her acne filled face.
She had to improve her looks, not for others but for herself. She had to make use of her exquisite features and not let them go to waste because of acne.
With these thoughts in mind, she made a paste combining few herbs and applied that on her face. She needed to keep it overnight to have a visible effect.
There were many options of the face masks but she chose the overnight option so as to not alert her mother and sister. Even though they would notice her changes but they wouldn't know how she changed herself nor would they be able to interfere in her tasks. She then chose to rest for the day.

The next few days went in peace. Qin Yan didn't know if it was the fear or the were planning their next move, but both Qin Muran and Lu Yaran didn't bother her these days. Whatever it may be, she was not afraid and she especially cherished this peace.
She just focussed on her health and improved her martial arts and surgical skills. Her weight had reduced by almost 40 kgs and she looked visibly thinner. But she was still far away from her ideal weight. Previously when she received her full body checkup reports, it was seen that the hypothyroidism she had was temporary and it would go if she stopped the consumption of the harmful drug given by her mother. Her acne had gone and only marks had remained. Her strength also increased exponentially and she was not far from her previous life.
Qin Yan had started wearing face mask so as to prevent the pollution from affecting her face. The herbs she was applying daily were to be supplemented with face mask. Otherwise her face would become acne filled permanently if it was exposed to sunlight and pollution.

The next morning, Qin Yan as usual walked towards her classroom. As she entered the classroom, she noticed the atmosphere to be a little weird. She walked to her seat and was about to sit down, when her deskmate Qiao Qing signalled her with her eyes.
Qin Yan examined her desk. In her desk drawer was a sheet of paper that had pictures of eighteen levels of hell and evil spirits printed on it, along with some words. There was also another piece of paper that had the words 'get out of the Shengyang High school' written on it with blood.
Qin Yan supported her chin with one hand and couldn't help laughing.
'This person has been tirelessly explaining the eighteen levels of hell to me over the past few days. They really put a lot of effort into it. Their actions are quite cute, but I don't think the person is cute anymore,' Qin Yan sighed.
"Just sit down. Class is about to start." Qin Yan picked up the pieces of paper and threw them into the trash bin.
After the class was over, Qiao Qing explained the situation to Qin Yan. It seemed like the school bully Han Jun had returned to the class after a vacation.
This person was famous for bullying the new students in the class. He had an arrogant personality and wanted to maintain his foothold over the position of the school bully.
Everybody in the class called him Boss Jun. Even the other classes didn't afford to offend him. It seemed that he came from a mysterious background which was quite powerful.
He would make sure that every new student in the class would acknowledge him as Boss Jun and would bully them till they acknowledged him.
Qin Yan turned to look at Han Jun. She was surprised to see that he looked nothing like a school bully rather he looked like a refined gentleman. He was tall and handsome with fox-like eyes. Only the arrogance between his eyebrows gave away the ruffian vibe.
Qiao Qing patiently explained everything to Qin Yan and advised her to make do with the formalities quickly otherwise she would be bullied endlessly.
