To be the misunderstood villainess

Chapter 11: In love with her broken pieces

She was afraid that if she focus on his gaze for too long then she was going to go back to her previous self. The girl she killed to be who she's today yet her soul was still inside of her body.

Her reflection in the water got a little blurry and she could hear the sound of water splashing.

She looked before her eyes and saw two beautiful white swans swimming in the pond.

They were looking dreamy as well. Everything about today was dreamy.

Andrew, who was standing still by then, decided to sit down on the grass beside Veronica.

The grass was soft under their palms. Veronica thought that grass was supposed to be super harsh but she was yet again proved wrong.

It was one of the moments where she didn't feel bad about getting proved wrong. She was rather ok with it and would open this conclusion with open arms.

Both of them felt like freezing at this moment and stay there for the rest of their lives.

It was one of the very few moments where even a highly suicidal person would want to start living again.

One of the very few moments where life feels worth living,

Worth giving yourself a second chance to yourself no matter how much you might have messed up in the past,

One of the very few moments where life feels too good to be true,

Where life feels like an absolute dream, too good to be true.

Veronica felt like she was living in a dream, a dream she never wanted to be awakened from.

But everything good shall end one day and their dream broke as well.

All of a sudden she remembered how he told her that they can't be together anymore because her marriage was fixed with someone else.

He accepted everything so easily that she was amazed. He didn't even say that he would try to win her parents' hearts and stop this marriage.

She told him everything while crying on the phone and he ended up cutting the call with a simple ok.

He didn't even ask with whom her marriage was fixed. His excuse was his father doesn't want to start a rivalry with another gang just because his son is in love with someone he wasn't supposed to be in love with.

She remembered the time she cried and cried and cried until there were no tears left. She told no to this marriage and went as far as to hold her parent's legs to stop this marriage but they didn't bother paying attention to her.

As good as his father was, he was a man of his word and his words were more important than his daughter's happiness to him. He told someone that he would marry off his daughter to him and after reaching home, he told everyone his decision.

Everyone was supposed to follow whatever he says without a single word. They were supposed to do whatever he wants them to do.

He didn't even bother asking her if she wants to get married or not. She wasn't asked what she wants. She was just told the decisions made for her.

But she fought enough. She fought so hard for a guy who didn't give her the slightest priority.

She was living in her happy bubble. She was daydreaming about their marriage. She was thinking about how she was going to take care of their kids.

She was really bad at cooking but she still tried to learn how to cook, only because he once said that he would love to have something cooked by her hands.

She used to be a lover girl, so naive and so in love with him. She was ready to change her entire self, only because of him.

All of these were making her more angry. She was feeling frustrated and at the same time, his closeness to her body was killing her.

After gathering everything together, she came to the conclusion that she was sexually frustrated. She wanted to have a release.

"Do you remember the deal we made? Do you remember why we came here in the first place?" She asked and he nodded his head, gulping down his own saliva.

"Just sit back and let me do everything. All you need to do is relax," she said while moving closer to his face.

He nodded his head as consent and without another warning or any hesitation, she joined her lips with his.

Memories of their past came one after another and hit them like a bus. They remembered their first kiss.

She was the one who made the first move. Both of them used to be shy back then but she was still a little bolder than him.

He couldn't gather the courage to touch her but with his permission, she ended up kissing him one day.

Their inexperienced lips were in a war that day. Neither of them had any idea of what they are doing.

They didn't know how to do what and it was almost an awkward kiss. But however it was, both of them enjoyed it.

They were over the moon when they found out that both of them were each other's first.

But their lips now were no less than professionals. Veronica's lips were the same as before but the difference was how they were moving.

The Veronica from before was shy and a little hesitant but this Veronica knows what she wants and she won't shy away from getting what she wants. She knows what to do, and which nerve to click to bring more pleasure.

Either way, he was in love with her. He was in love with the feeling that comes with her closeness. He feels like they are back to being the old them even if it's all a facade and none of this is real.

He manages to convince his heart that everything is still the same as before but no matter how much he wishes, nothing was going to be the same as before.
