The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system

After a satisfactory meal, everyone got back on the bus and they were dropped off wherever they wanted. Most decided to go home and rest.

Alix, Caishen and the boys were dropped off at Blossom courts. The boys went to their rooms while Alix immediately set out to work on her mission.

The system connected the game to the television in the living room wirelessly while she prepared snacks which she would need when she needed to take a break.

She knew that Caishen was preparing to work from his home office.

Biming was waiting for them when they returned from the amusement park. Two other men and one woman accompanied him. Mo Sen had let them into the office and they were waiting for Caishen to begin whatever business they had come for.

Before going into his office, Caishen passed by the living room and raised his brows at the large volume of snacks which were piled high on the table.

The furniture had been re-arranged to create ample space. Alix had even carried the fat owl plushie, a pillow and a blanket from their bedroom.

She was dressed in his red sweater again, with white thick baggy sweat pants. She had those gaming glasses attached to her head and blue gloves he had never seen before on her hands. The gloves had a rune like pattern and white light passing through them.

"Are you going on a gaming marathon?" he asked her.

She nodded quickly. "I have many people to kill today. This might take me all night to accomplish. Or a few days if i find myself exhausted. Either way, i have so many to...."

She put her thumb on her throat and made a throat slitting gesture.

Majesty meowed excitedly from the couch. The cat was looking at the screen with undeniable excitement in its eyes. Even the position in which he was crouching was a hunting one. He looked like he was ready to do some killing of his own.

"You have quite the excited audience." He told her.

His eyes looking in the direction of the cat.

Alix shot an unbothered glance at the cat and recalled that she hadnpromised to connect him to the game but only as a spectator.

She had a pair of immersive gaming glasses that the system prepared for this particularly. She removed it from the bag which was close to her feet and tossed that glasses at Majesty.

"Be careful, that cost twenty two thousand points." The system yelled at her.

"That much!" She exclaimed.

"In your earth currency, it's equal to at least twenty to thirty million." The system added.

Alix clutched her chest and took a deep breath. She shot a disgruntled look at the cat that had already slipped on the gaming glasses.

It was wagging its tail so excitedly unaware of how much untouchable money it had cost her.

If she sold a few glasses like these, she could make millions easily. She was definitely going to include them in her everything alien shopping mall.

"Game, mission, come back to the most important matter." The system reminded her.

Meanwhile, Caishen was dumbfounded by what he had just witnessed. Those glasses looked like advanced technology, the kind big technologies would pay a lot of money to get their hands on.

If he asked where they came from, she would give him the usual answer, her mother had a connection through which she had got her hands on them.

More shocking was the very human like way the cat had slipped on gaming glasses without a need for instructions. This was not even the most bizarre thing to happen at home since she moved in but it was still weird.

"What?" Alix asked him.

He was staring at her in shock as if he had seen a ghost.

"You have gaming equipment for your cat!" He stated.

"You bought a car for your cat. Hubby, we are both hopeless cat parents. Nothing should surprise you when it comes to me and Majesty." She replied with a shrug of her shoulders.

He wanted to comment again but Gu Biming came over and stared at him with expectation in his eyes. He was silently urging him to go and start the meeting.

Biming had a date with his girlfriend that had not yet admitted that she was his girlfriend and he wanted this meeting over and done with.

"Looks like you are needed baby Zhang." She told him.

Chuckling softly, she blew a kiss at him and slipped her gaming glasses over her eyes. She picked up the game controllers and on the screen, her character came to life.

Meow, meow, meow....

Caishen was turning his wheelchair when he heard the loud meowing of Majesty. The cat was now perched high on the cat. It's excitement levels had multiplied. One could assume it was the one playing and not Alix. Or perhaps, that it was personally invested in the game financially.

"Man that cat is weird." Biming muttered.

"You have no idea." Caishen responded softly.

It was as weird as it's owner, he thought. The woman and the cat, there was something about the two which he couldn't put a finger on. All he knew was that lately they were closer than usual and Majesty was louder than usual while Alix appeared to be more contented.

Caishen looked back one more time and muttered, "It's so weird."

The weird ones didn't hear him because the fight was already on. Alix was picking her first victims in what was going to be a one versus a hundred match.

She didn't even bother hiding to snipe from trees or move stealthily. There was no time for that, she had ten thousand targets to kill. If she shot them one by one, it would take her a very long time to complete the mission.

So, to save herself time, she had decided to go with an oldie but goodie that never failed to work. Drop an explosive in the camp, which would take out as many of the targets as possible and then she would shoot those who survived.

With that plan in mind, she marched into the first camp which was in the West side of the city.

It was an entrance fee collection point. For one to enter Packer's city, they had to pay a fee.

With all the fierce soldiers guarding it, and brandishing their weapons openly while terrorizing the islanders, nobody dared to refuse. That was until Alix came along of course.
