I tilt my head and smile at him before he can respond with lightning speed, I throw another knife in his head. Another man who saw everything unfold the scene from another side stares at me with his wide eyes open. My cold smile scares him and runs towards the stairs to save himself. I quickly moved and pulled my gun and shot the back of my head. his blood slammed into the floor.

Miles's voice was heard from the other side "They were not in this building"

he was on another side of the building because there were fewer security cameras on each floor and a smaller number of men were guarding the building. If he didn't find Ruan and Louis. It means they were in this building.

I ran into different rooms on the upper floor to check. A voice trails behind my back. "What are you doing" I turned my head in his direction. I didn't run or hide. I looked at him coldly. Subconsciously his eyes move from my face to my body and his eyes stop on my gun in my hand.

He angrily exclaimed, "You who-"

Before he could finish his sentence, a bullet shot directly into his brain. He stares widely and slams into the floor.

I looked towards certain corners of the factory terries walls, Sarah lay on her stomach and aimed her sniper with one eye looking through the scope and said "HA.HA. I thought you forgot my existence in the team and I didn't want to return with zero kills."

Addison Snapped from the other side "BULLSHIT" We all know Sarah hates those who talk bad about me, the last time someone commented bad about me on social media she hacked the account and banned him from every social media platform.

I reach the heavy metal gate in the middle of the upper floor. Before I get inside, I need to be prepared. I push the door.

I entered the dark room and my eyes turned colder. More than ten girls were lying on the floor. few were brutally beaten. I walked towards them and checked their pulse. They are alive but highly drugged. I removed my jacket and put on the girl whose upper body barely holding clothes. My anger is now on another level. I slowly closed my eyes to steady myself.

"Addison" he replied "Here," I said "upper floor. metal room. Ten minor girls. take them outside and call the police"

I walked out of the room a man stood face to face without giving me a chance to say. I punched his face and slammed his forehead to the walls. I grabbed his chin and asked "Where are they? Open your mouth before I lose my patience!" my cold voice was enough to scare him. He pointed to a side corner room.

 I walked towards the side room and directly kicked the door. there were only five people inside the room and Ruan and Louis were injured and tied to a chair in the corner of the room. I walked towards them and shoot their vital body points. I stood middle of the room. Five of them were lying on the ground. I turned my head to Ruan and asked coldly "Who is the leader?" he smiled at me and replied with a soft voice "The one from your two o'clock" I walked in front of him.

He looked at me in horror and shouted "Who are you?" I asked him coldly "Who are those minor girls and from where did you kidnap them?"

The muscular man replied, "They were kidnapped by my teammates and we sold them in another country" I got my answer before he could say another word. I punch his face pull the knife from my boots and stab his chest and kick his useless body. I walked towards him grabbed his collar and gave him another punch to the face. his body slammed on the floor. when he was about to lose his last breath, I pull a knife from his chest and gave another stab to his gut. He spat a mouthful of blood on the floor.

Before stabbing his other area of body Ruan grabbed my hand and pull into his arms. "Lina, they all are safe now. Calm down" he holds me tightly. I don't know when Miles gets inside the room and unties Ruan and Louis.

I took a long breath to steady myself. After a few seconds, Ruan let me go. I asked him with my heavy voice, "Are you guys, ok?" Ruan replied "Yeah, we are fine. They just drugged us."

My eyes first scanned his bloody arms and shoulder. Louis's left hand was injured and there were a few cuts on his face. I didn't say anything. Addison's voice comes from the other side "Leave the area guys, a large force of official cars was coming from the other side" his drone camera guards the area for safety measures.

Miles and I held them and jumped outside the window because of their weak body we rolled onto the glassy ground. Sarah stopped the car and quickly opened the door, Ruan, Louis, and Miles took a backseat and Sarah sat in the passenger seat. I started the car turned the engine at full speed and took another root to the mountain.

When we reached the top of the mountain Addison was waiting for us. He directly hugged Ruan and said "I just left you for one month and you injured yourself" he gave a side eye to him. Addison switched to Louis and asked him if his leg was hurting.

My cold eyes looked at them "Let to the hospital" I am not in the mood to take his jokes. Louis stood in front of me and held my hand "Di, I'm not that hurt"

I smiled at him and twisted his arms. He starts mourning in pain. Sarah laughed at him for playing too cool.

"You don't have wounds in your arms but you still mourning in pain. Better you both have a full body check" I turned my head to Addison "What about those girls?" he said "After you guys left armed officers take those girls to the hospital" I nodded silently.

Ruan took the passenger seat in my car and Louis chose to go with Addison. Sarah and Miles followed each other. We all head to the private hospital nearer to our current location. after thirty minutes my car stopped at a traffic signal, I turned my head and looked at him. His tall body leaned on the passenger seat, clean and sharp jaw, even though he was injured but his midnight blue hair looked seductive on his face. those cold brown eyes are dangerous enough to kill silently.

He looked at me and asked directly "What are you thinking?" I replied directly "Last time you said that you will take good care of yourself then what is this?" I paused "And who are those people?"

he smiled at me "Lina, this time it's not my fault. I was staying at the hotel for two days but yesterday I met Louis at the restaurant. he was there for a meeting and I got to know that we all are in the same city so I decided to meet in his hotel room." With my questioning gaze "So you are telling me someone tried to kidnap Louis but ended up messing up their plan."

The traffic light signal turned green and drove my car to the hospital without uttering a word. We reach the hospital after one hour. I put on my mask and opened the door and walked to the opposite side. Ruan was already standing outside with Louis and others.

I followed them to the hospital after one hour of their body check-up doctor came out of the room and informed us that there were no major injuries. Louis's leg will recover within two weeks in proper care. Because of the five stitches in Ruan's shoulder, he needs to take proper medication and care. after discussion, we four conclude they need to shift to other hospitals which near our location. Sarah and Miles went to settle the hospital bills and discharge procedure.

I went to Louis's room to see. He lay on the bed, covering his left leg with white bandages. My eyes stopped on his face, there were a few scratches and cuts on his young face. I met him last year in Europe for his 18th birthday. It's been 3 years Louis was working with us but we never tried to know about his family. Only Ruan knows about him. I walked near to his bed and seat on a chair. He closed his eyes fluttered and turned his head to look at me.

I asked him softly "How are you doing? Do you want to shift to another hospital?" he replied with a gentle smile "I'm ok, Di." He paused and then said again "I think me and brother Ruan should go to our family hospital. It is safe and guarded. My family will take care of him also" I nodded at him.

"Di, I think I lost my bracelet." His painful sigh let out my soft laugh. I hold his wrist and put a bracelet on his wrist.

His wide-eye open reaction "Where did you get this? I thought I lost it!" I rubbed his hair and said "It's fine, I found this in your room" he gave me a toothy smile.

"Louis I don't want to meddle in your private problem but who kidnapped you?" I continued

"Sarah tried to dig for some information it turned out they are some unknown local gangs working under a Russian businessman"

After quick hesitation he continued "They were sent by Davis. I fought with him and he threatened me. I didn't know that this little mouse was capable of kidnapping me" Out of concern I asked, "Do you need our help?"

he rejected my offer "I just wish my brother go easy with them" I patted his head and left the room to check on Ruan.

When I entered the room Ruan was talking with Addison about the new deal at San Francisco. They continued their conversation and I seat on the sofa. I check the time it is half past nine and I still have 3 hours for Jennie's shoot. after fifteen minutes when they finally stop talking about a deal.

I opened my mouth "Stay with Louis at his family hospital for the next two weeks after your recovery you can do whatever you want." he didn't argue on this matter and gave a simple nod to me.

I stood up and started walking towards the door without turning my head "I have a schedule at midnight Sarah and Miles will be here with you." and left the room. Addison and Ruan knew I was not in good condition.

When I reach the parking lot my phone rings and pulls out from my pockets it is from Luca. I received the call "Lina where are you?"

I replied, "Still alive, what happened?" Luca asked me softly "How about lunch at my home?" 

I asked him, "Why?" he replied instantly "Ashley and Ray were missing you and I know you have no schedule for the next two days" I don't know why but my gut is telling me it was not going to be a simple lunch.

After my short brainstorming, I replied "OK" and hung up the call before he could say anything else.

I drove my car away from the hospital. after a long drive, I finally reached the hotel. I got out of the car with my bag, threw my keys to the valet, and walked inside the hotel. because of my sensitive nose, I can sense my body reeking of bloody smell.

I entered my room, put my bag on the table, and walked into the bathroom. I filled the bathtub with warm water and added lavender essential oil to relax my body. I soaked my body in warm water for thirty minutes.

I walked to my closet and chose a black cotton shirt, midnight blue denim, and a black trench coat. Because it was midnight instead of putting on makeup, I decided to only put moisturizer and lip tint. I still have 30 mins to reach the location. I changed my slippers to black knee-high boots. I walked out of my room with my bag and locked the door. I took the car keys from reception. when I reach the parking lot it's freezing outside.

After getting into my car. I put the location into the navigation bar with that I drove away.
