The Villain’s Perspective

During those 2 years, Lucifer had always tried to become close to the dogs that Levy did not appreciate. He fed them every day, petted them, and played with them when Levy was not paying attention or when Levy was still sleeping.

Thanks to that, all of those dogs gradually became closer to Lucifer than to Levy. That meant they would listen to Lucifer's orders more than Levy's.

To them, Lucifer was like a benefactor, a friend, not a cruel master like Levy.

Today, while the old man was still in the basement, Lucifer returned to those dogs and gave them an order, which was to kill the dogs that often followed Levy with Lucifer.

At that time, there were only 3 dogs that often followed Levy in the dog kennel, while Lucifer had more than 100 dogs by his side. It could be said that this was a one-sided massacre.

After finishing his work, Lucifer left the dogs here and told them to wait for the right moment.

As Lucifer had predicted, after Levy knew that his two dogs could no longer move, he immediately used his Ability to call the remaining dogs.

"Alright my friends, go ahead and kill those three! But don't let yourself get hurt!" Lucifer ordered the dogs.

After receiving the order, all the dogs simultaneously charged towards Levy and the remaining two dogs. Lucifer thought this would be an easy battle, but it wasn't.

Even though the other two dogs were badly injured, they were still able to repel the dogs that were charging towards them. Meanwhile, Levy used his large body to punch the dogs away.

A quarter of the dogs were dead while the remaining were still trying to charge forward because of Lucifer's command. It seemed that Lucifer's command was more important than the dogs themselves. They were truly loyal pets.

'I will always remember your loyalty.'

Currently, half of Lucifer's dogs were dead. But they did not die in vain because Levy and his two dogs were also seriously injured.

It seemed that Levy also realized that the current situation was very bad for him. He frowned in thought while still fighting against the dogs that kept charging at him. Although he didn't need to use much strength to send the dogs flying, the fact that there were so many of them and they kept rushing forward also caused Levy to lose some of his stamina.

"You two dogs! Stay here and wait for me, I'll be right back!"

After giving orders to the two heavily injured dogs, Levy immediately returned to the basement. Lucifer also wanted to chase after him, but it seemed like the two dogs were ready to sacrifice themselves to prevent anyone from going down to the basement.

'Damn it! We can only wait!'

"Everyone! Stop attacking! Don't waste your strength!"

Lucifer also ordered the remaining dogs to retreat to recover.

About a minute later, Levy returned to the ground, but for some reason he looked healthier than before and he was also holding two bottles containing some kind of liquid.

Levy then poured that liquid onto his two dogs. Immediately, the other two dogs also began to recover, although the bullet wound had not completely healed, they had become better than before.

'Is that a recovery potion?'

'Surprised? All your hard work has been for nothing! You didn't think I would have this, right?'

'Everyone, cover me!'

Lucifer quickly grabbed the bucket and ran towards Levy. But of course, his two dogs wouldn't let Lucifer do that, they immediately dashed towards Lucifer.

However, those two dogs were blocked by the remaining dogs. Even though the 2 dogs had recovered, it still took them a while to deal with these dogs.

Thanks to that, Lucifer was able to charge towards Levy without being hindered.

But Levy didn't just stand there and wait for Lucifer to approach. He immediately pulled out a dagger and prepared to stab Lucifer as he got closer.

Just as Lucifer and Levy were only 2 meters away from each other, Lucifer suddenly stopped. Then, Lucifer threw the bucket towards Levy. The liquid inside the bucket immediately spilled out, pouring all over Levy's body.

"Is this blood? But what can that do?"

That's right, the liquid inside the 6 buckets was blood.

'Someone or something stole my meat again…'

Lucifer looked at his base dejectedly, where there was no more meat.

'Why…'

This wasn't the first time Lucifer had his food stolen. Someone had stolen the meat he had worked so hard to hunt. Because of that, Lucifer felt very angry. So he decided to follow who took those precious pieces of meat.

Lucifer carefully hid in a tree near his cave and observed carefully. He also left some pieces of meat in the cave as bait.

Not long after, Lucifer saw a monster enter his cave, after a while it came out while holding the piece of meat that Lucifer used as bait.

Lucifer had learned something new, it seemed like these monsters would go to places with the smell of blood. To confirm this thought, Lucifer left a bucket of animal blood in the cave without any meat.

Sure enough, the monsters still entered the cave, but when they came out, they were holding nothing.

'I can make use of this!'

"You are god damn right!" Lucifer answered with a smile on his face.

This is the final part of Lucifer's plan. He would let the monsters in the forest take care of the rest for him.
