The Villain’s Perspective

This morning, thanks to Aether's suggestion, Lucifer ran to his base in the forest while Levy was still sleeping, and took some delicious meat and fed it to the dogs.

As soon as the dogs saw the food, dozens of dogs immediately charged towards the meat as if they were starving. It seemed that most of them were not fed properly by Levy. He only fed the dogs that he usually brought with him, and the others were left without a share.

'Then why did he keep so many dogs?'

They ate the meat and barked happily. Lucifer could see a few drops of water flowing from their eyes. Seeing this, he couldn't help but stroke the dogs' smooth fur.

The dogs did not resist but let Lucifer pet them. Becoming friends with these dogs was easier than he thought. Playing with them was also really fun.

After finishing all the meat, they looked at Lucifer with pleading eyes.

"Sorry, I brought all the meat today. I'll bring you some more tomorrow."

Hearing that, all the dogs barked. Lucifer wasn't sure whether it was because the dogs wanted to eat more meat or because they were happy that they would have meat to eat tomorrow as well.

'At this rate, I guess I'll have to go hunting more often.'

After finishing his work, Lucifer returned to his room to rest before he had to start the work that Levy had given him.

One day, when Lucifer opened his eyes after falling asleep for a while, he realized that he was in a different place, or rather, a different room.

It was not the place surrounded by pure white, nor was it Lucifer's familiar room. Lucifer knew this room very well because he had spent many years living here.

That's right, this was Lucifer's room in the previous world.

'What…'

Lucifer didn't know what was going on. Was this a dream? He didn't know. So Lucifer tried punching his stomach as hard as he could, but he didn't feel any pain.

'This is definitely a dream.'

Lucifer walked around his room, and suddenly, he noticed a calendar placed next to the computer. Today was June 26, 2020.

Lucifer was frozen, he didn't know how to react. Today was an important day that would completely change Lucifer's life in the future.

Suddenly, a deep, warm voice rang out from outside:

"Hey Lucifer, can I come in?"

'Dad?'

Just as Lucifer was about to agree, he suddenly stopped. Lucifer realized that he was not in the body of the previous world but still in the body of the second world.

If he let his father in now, there was a chance that his father would call the police to arrest Lucifer for trespassing.

"Wait…"

But it was too late, the door slowly opened. A man gradually walked in, he was holding a suitcase and wearing a formal suit.

"Me and your mom will be going on a business trip today, so remember to stay home and protect your sister alright?"

'He doesn't realize it?'

It seemed that from his father's perspective, Lucifer was still in his body in this world.

"Dad, can you guys please stay home today?"

But instead of saying goodbye to his father, Lucifer told him to stay. The reason was because he knew exactly what would happen today. So if his father stayed today, things might be different.

Even though this was just a dream, Lucifer wanted to witness a future if his father stayed home today. He wanted to know what kind of future that would lead to.

But the man didn't say anything and just walked out of the room. It was as if his father couldn't hear what Lucifer had just said.

'No way…'

Suddenly, Lucifer's body lost all energy. Lucifer fell onto the bed, he didn't understand what was happening with his body but he was very sleepy.

'I was wide awake just now!'

Lucifer couldn't sleep right now. He knew that if he slept now, the event that would happen today would definitely happen. History would repeat itself. But Lucifer wanted to prevent it at all costs, even if it was just a dream.

'Please…I can't sleep right now…'

Then, Lucifer fell asleep.

When he woke up, Lucifer was drenched in sweat. He glanced at the clock on the table and realized that it was already 7pm.

'No…'

Lucifer looked at the clock with a blank, helpless gaze. At that moment, a loud noise came from downstairs.

He slowly left the room and went downstairs. Even though he knew what was happening downstairs, he still had to go down. Even though Lucifer's mind didn't agree, he couldn't control his body.

Just like that, Lucifer slowly walked down the stairs to the living room on the first floor.

The first thing that caught Lucifer's eyes was a large pool of blood. Then came the image of his beautiful sister, unconscious and naked. Next to her were two people wearing tight masks, both of them were also naked like his mother.

Suddenly, Lucifer's eyes blurred. He was sobbing. Tears rolled down his cheeks and neared his mouth. Human tears were very salty, but today Lucifer only felt that his tears were bitter and sour.

"Stop…" Lucifer muttered.

"I said stop!" Lucifer shouted, causing the two masked men to immediately pay attention to him.

Then, Lucifer rushed towards the two masked men with the intention of killing them all. He didn't want to spare those two, he had to kill them no matter what. That day in the previous world, Lucifer couldn't do anything but sit there and cry, but this time he wanted revenge. He had to take revenge.

Seeing Lucifer, the other two men drew their knives at the same time. But Lucifer wasn't aiming at them, but at the light switch in the distance. He quickly rushed past the two men to reach the light switch. After that, the entire room was completely filled with darkness.

Then, Lucifer instantly used Shadow Movement. It seemed like he could still use his Ability here.

Taking advantage of that, Lucifer quickly snatched the knife from one of them and used it to stab both of them to death. Even after they died, Lucifer continued to stab them until both of their faces were disfigured.

Lucifer did not feel happy after getting his revenge, but he felt regretful. He regretted that he could not have the courage to kill these two people in his previous life like this.

Lucifer cried again.

'Mom…Dad…Sister…I miss you guys…'

After that fateful day, Lucifer's father and mother had completely collapsed. Because of that, they could hardly concentrate on his work like before, leading to them being fired. As for Lucifer, after that day, Lucifer's desire to become a hero became much stronger. He wanted to be like a hero, someone with the strength and courage to protect people they cared for.

Also after that day, Lucifer started to detest sex criminals. He was disgusted by them, he wanted to kill them all. And Levy was one of those people.
