After deciding what he should do from now on, Lucifer slowly walked out of his room and went to the living room. His purpose was to find a lighter to grill the meat.

He then returned to his room to get his familiar gun and dagger. When he first woke up in this room, Lucifer noticed that his weapons were still intact, so he quickly hid them under the bed to avoid being discovered by Levy.

After making all the preparations, Lucifer activated Shadow Movement. His body merged with the shadow outside right away. Just like that, Lucifer went deeper into the forest.

After confirming the base, Lucifer moved around the forest a few times to look for the sleeping animals.

Just 5 minutes later, he saw a fat deer sleeping peacefully on a pile of leaves, not knowing that its death was approaching.

Lucifer took out his dagger and gently approached the deer so as not to make any noise. After he was only about 1 meter away from the deer. Lucifer suddenly jumped towards it.

He used his right hand to press its neck to the ground while using his left hand to stab its face several times. A lot of blood flowed from the stab wounds on the deer's face, it was definitely dead.

'This is easier than I expected.'

Lucifer still couldn't believe that hunting animals at night was this easy. He waited for the deer's blood to drain before bringing it back to his base.

Lucifer carefully separated the skin from the deer's meat to make sure that not a single piece of meat was wasted. He then divided the meat into 3 portions to eat over 3 days. Since there was no refrigerator, the meat would rot if Lucifer left it outside for too long.

Then, he started gathering branches from the trees and on the ground and started a fire to roast the meat.

Although the meat was not seasoned with any spices, it was more than enough for Lucifer. He was so merry that he wanted to cry after putting the first piece of meat in his mouth.

The juicy meat melted in Lucifer's mouth without being chewed. It had been a long time since he had eaten meat. But Lucifer would probably still have to steal some spices to season the meat.

After his stomach was completely satisfied, Lucifer stood up and returned to the wooden house.

The next night, Lucifer was excitedly walking to his base. He couldn't wait another second to eat the juicy and fatty meat. This time, he stole some salt from the kitchen to make the meat more flavorful.

But when he arrived, his face darkened. The two portions of meat he had separated yesterday were no longer there. Lucifer's heart sank with disappointment.

'The animals must have come here and taken all the remaining meat.'

With no other choice, Lucifer had to go hunting like yesterday if he wanted to have meat to eat. He then gripped his dagger tightly and went deeper into the forest.

The forest seemed quite quiet today. Although it was quiet like yesterday, Lucifer felt that the forest was a bit spooky today. Suddenly, Lucifer heard the sound of something falling to the ground.

He immediately turned back towards the source of the sound. There, Lucifer saw a branch as big as a walking stick lying on the ground. It seemed that the sound just now came from this branch.

Lucifer continued to keep moving forwards. He felt like someone was following him, but when he turned around, there was no one there.

'Am I imagining it?'

Even after moving for a few minutes, Lucifer still felt like someone was stalking him. Unable to bear it any longer, Lucifer immediately turned back. At that moment, if he hadn't turned back, things would have been much better.

In the distance, Lucifer could see a pair of glowing red eyes staring at him. Lucifer instantly shone his flashlight towards that eye, and he almost dropped his flashlight after doing so.

A monster that looked like a human was clinging to a tree trunk and glaring at him. It had no hair and had a pair of glowing red eyes. Its body was extremely skinny, so thin that Lucifer could see its bones obviously. It had no flesh, only a layer of skin covering its bones.

After being shined by the flashlight. It immediately broke into a terrifying smile. Then, it instantly bounced towards Lucifer at an extremely fast speed.

Without hesitation, Lucifer quickly used Shadow Movement. He immediately merged with the darkness. Thanks to that, the monster missed him. Realizing that, the monster jumped up high right away to determine Lucifer's location.

It didn't take long for the monster to detect his location through the scent. It jumped towards the shadow where Lucifer was hiding. Recognizing that, Lucifer had no choice but to dash far away to escape the monster's pursuit.

After witnessing the monster's terrifying speed, he could be guaranteed that this monster was a lot stronger than the wolf monsters he encountered after conquering the cliff but not as strong as the monster he encountered in Hell.

'That means this monster must be Giant level!'
