The Villainess VTuber Tears People Apart

Chapter 45 - From an Early Hour

The first collaboration for the 6th generation was set to be in Minecraft.

“Th-this is the place assigned to us 6th generation members….”

Inagika said.

The 6th generation members, including myself, were currently in the mountains.

The trees were extremely dense, and there was no sign of a village or any signs of civilization around.

The only comfort we had was a single wooden box placed in front of us.

“And this was prepared by Rion-senior…. It looks like we can each take one.”

When the wooden box was opened, there were four bundles of cooked beef. Along with that, there were four iron pickaxes.

Each of us took one, and today’s host, Inagika, took a deep breath.

“…Starting today, we 6th generation members will be clearing this land.”

So it was said.

This place was the Minecraft EYEAI server.

It was common for any well-known VTuber company to have at least one Minecraft server. It was a hugely popular game and easily accessible.

EYEAI also had its own dedicated server, and our senior generations had already been working hard on this server.

However, in sandbox games, getting too much help at the beginning usually took the fun out of it.

Moreover, we 6th generation members were still in our collaboration restriction period. So, instead of interacting with our seniors, we decided it was best to work together and overcome the challenges ourselves.

And thus, we found ourselves on this remote island.

– What’s the coordinate? lololol

– Are you filming a castaway survival show? lololol

– Like how a lion leaves its cubs on a cliff.

– The starting point is terrible.

– Let’s start by sending an SOS.

“Wait, hold on a second. You’re telling me we have to live here from now on?”

Sora’s avatar looked around and said.

There was a hint of panic in her voice.

“It’s too high up. The terrain is so rugged, it seems like building a house here would be really difficult….”

“Yeah, that’s true….”

“Couldn’t we at least have gone to some flat land?”

“There’s no such place nearby…. To get to flat land, we’d have to move far away….”

“Don’t tell me we have to level this entire mountain…?”

“……”

Inagika was silent.

That was the answer.

[Stream] “I don’t like that mountain.”

(Stream screenshot)

“Goddamn senior b*tches..”

[Comments]

– Giving only iron pickaxes is really too much lololol

– At least let them use an iron ingot factory lololol

ㄴ If there’s automation from the start, it’s not fun.

– Are all four of them going to level that mountain? lol

ㄴ (Author) “There are three.”

ㄴ “Huh? Aren’t there four 6th generation members?”

ㄴ (Author) Aurora bailed.

ㄴ ????

[Stream] Aurora is clearing a dungeon.

(Stream screenshot)

“I’ll go find diamonds, you guys level the mountain.”

[Comments]

– Did she go in empty-handed?

ㄴ Yep, she went into the dungeon with just an iron pickaxe.

ㄴ Is she insane? lololol

– Noblewomen don’t do chores~

ㄴ (Author) For real, lol

– The screen’s so dark, where are the torches?

ㄴ Aurora says she can see.

ㄴ Well, we can’t see, dammit.

ㄴ Why would a villainous noblewoman care about the concerns of commoners? (seriously clueless)

ㄴ Lololol

– Is she seriously using her physical skills even in a sandbox game?

===

[Stream] But the division of roles is going well.

Aurora: Explores faraway places and brings back rare resources.

Sora: Levels the land and builds a house.

Inagika: Constructs important facilities.

Chel: Fishing.

[Comments]

– What’s Chel even doing? lolololol

ㄴ (Author) Chel’s responsible for farming food and enchantment books.

ㄴ While the others are working their asses off, she’s just sitting there clicking away. LOL

[Stream] What’s up with the atmosphere between Sora and Laura? ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

(Screenshot from Sora’s stream)

(Screenshot from Laura’s stream)

What’s going on with these twoㅠㅠㅠㅠ? What’s with the tender looks in their eyes?ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Did they meet up?ㅠㅠㅠㅠ Did Laura gift her a horror game????ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Why does Sora look like she’s dreading playing a horror game?ㅠㅠㅠㅠ Why does Laura look like she’s telling her to do it?ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Is Laura building her a house?ㅠㅠㅠㅠ Are they going to live together?ㅠㅠㅠㅠ If they do, then if they have sex, it’s a baby houseㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Let’s name the house ‘Womb’ㅠㅠㅠㅠ Do whatever you wantㅠㅠㅠㅠ Let Laura plant her ‘red tea dick’ in Sora’s heartㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Smash the Earthㅠㅠㅠㅠ Smash the companyㅠㅠㅠㅠ Smash the North Poleㅠㅠㅠㅠ Burn nature downㅠㅠㅠㅠ Make Sora pregnantㅠㅠㅠㅠ Have a noble young oneㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

[Comments]

– ‘Noble young one’ lolololol

– Where can you even learn stuff like this?

– The tone is so f*cking annoying…

ㄴ (Author) Why are you so sensitive? Did something bad happen today?ㅠㅠㅠㅠ”

ㄴ What the hell.

ㄴ LOL

– But honestly, something does feel off between Sora and Laura.

– Did Laura seduce her sister and now a fellow member too?

ㄴ (Author) Was Anna seduced too? Maybe that’s why she’s been avoiding Laura lately—she’s having morning sickness!

ㄴ You’re going to get sued.

I woke up. The time was 11:12 a.m.

It might be hard to call that morning, but a noblewoman’s job was to laze around until late.

For a noblewoman to take even one step, a lot of people had to be involved.

Servants would come to greet me, wash my body, change my clothes, style my hair, and accompany me wherever I went.

For a noblewoman to wake up early was a burden to the servants. So, when I stayed at the ducal mansion, I had to force myself to stay in bed until late.

That’s why I fiddled with my phone and read web novels for about an hour.

Eventually, I started feeling like moving, so I got out of bed and climbed into the VR capsule.

‘Should I stream or not?’

I pondered.

I had gotten scolded by Rion a few days ago.

– “Unnie stop streaming so much….”

– “You’ve got archive videos hitting 20 hours. Viewers can’t keep up.”

– “Stream for just 1-2 hours a day! Three hours max! If you’re going over five, at least notify the viewers beforehand!”

So she said.

Apparently, streaming Labyrinthos for 20 hours a day wasn’t a good thing. I thought being a VTuber meant I could play games as much as I wanted while earning money, but it seemed like I had less game time instead.

‘Then should I skip streaming and just run the Duel Mode?’

Gate Assault Mode was something that had to be done when the viewers were watching.

It caused quite a stir. Once, I asked the viewers, “What do you think about me running Gate Assault when not streaming?” The chat exploded, asking if I was neglecting my duties, if I was really a streamer.

Since it seemed like I was establishing myself as a dedicated Labyrinthos VTuber, I decided to only play Gate Assault Mode on stream.

Should I stream and do a short Gate Assault run?

Or should I just play Duel Mode without streaming?

I was debating when I started up Labyrinthos.

The Discord call tone rang.

The caller was Ayanokouji Sora.

I pressed the call button.

“What’s up?”

[I’m streaming right now, is it okay to talk for a sec?]

“Streaming this early?”

Checking the time, I saw Sora had been streaming since 9 a.m.

VTuber streaming times vary widely, but there are some general patterns. Morning streams, afternoon streams, evening streams, late-night streams, and dawn streams.

Evening streams are the most common, and the others are relatively uncommon.

Still, there’s an audience for morning streams, like people who watch while commuting to work. It’s just that the vibe of these streams tends to be more relaxed, like a low-key Just Chatting stream.

[I’m playing Minecraft right now, and I wanted to ask you something.]

“If it’s Minecraft, wouldn’t Inagika know more?”

[…But Inagika’s sleeping, so I had no choice.]

Sora grumbled a bit.

It had been about a week since the 6th generation started their joint Minecraft streams.

Sora had completely fallen in love with Minecraft.

‘Inagika chose the game well.’

Minecraft wasn’t a game that required a lot of physical skill.

It was more about being good with aesthetics or being proficient at setting up automated systems like the “Bluestone Circuit” that allowed for complex builds.

Even Sora, who was often labeled as “hopelessly bad” when playing competitive games like League of Legends, was thriving in Minecraft.

Her aesthetic sense seemed to be quite impressive, as she quickly built structures, and as a result, her subscriber count had noticeably increased.

[I want to make something called a beacon, but I don’t know how.]

However, her knowledge of Minecraft only extended to her artistic sense. She didn’t know much about the game itself.

As a result, she often asked me and Inagika questions about Minecraft.

Inagika was like a Minecraft veteran, knowing almost everything about it. I had also played Minecraft in the past.

‘Though it was on Hardcore mode.’

I played it about two years ago. After defeating the Ender Dragon and the hidden boss, the Wither, I hadn’t touched the game since.

So, I did know my way around Minecraft, although I wasn’t up to date on the updates made in the past two years.

“Do you know that you have to defeat the Wither to make a beacon?”

[The Wither? What’s that?]

“It’s a hidden boss in Minecraft. You can only summon it through a specific ritual, and you’ll need materials from the Nether to do that.”

[The Nether? What kind of place is that?]

“It’s a hellish dimension you can access by opening a Nether portal. You’ll need obsidian first.”

[I have one block of obsidian. What do I do with it?]

“Hmm.”

She really didn’t know much.

But it couldn’t be helped. Sora was still a Minecraft newbie, so it made sense that there was a lot she didn’t know.

As I was thinking about how to explain it, Sora spoke again.

[Come to think of it, it’s been a while since you logged into Minecraft, hasn’t it? Our base has changed a lot—could you drop by for a bit?]
