Chapter 27: The Mark of the Sect
Chapter Twenty-Seven -- The Mark of the Sect
After a day,
Both Ibrahim and Unknown arranged their thoughts,
and Unknown began thinking about how he would move forward with what he was going to do, but before he did,
he heard the sound of knocking on the door that he was used to hearing every day.
A familiar feeling overwhelmed Unknown,
then he shouted, "Adam, I'm coming."
When Unknown started running to open the door,
Boom (the sound of something hitting the ground hard).
Unknown stumbled, the reason?
Because of the difference in strength between his feet, when he tried to run there was an imbalance in power and balance, and this caused him to stumble.
When Ibrahim heard this sound, he rushed immediately to the place, and found Unknown lying on the ground holding back his feeling of pain.
Ibrahim comforted Unknown, then went to open the door.
When Ibrahim opened the door, he found Adam standing at the door holding a book, trying to understand what had happened.
When Ibrahim looked at the book in Adam's hand,
he thought about the information the mysterious man had told him.
It seemed he had made a decision, then he said to Adam:
"Please, come in."
Adam entered and found Unknown lying on the ground, so he laughed at him and threw some jokes, then helped him to stand up.
Adam said to Unknown: "I want to tell you something."
And when Unknown was about to agree,
Ibrahim interrupted, saying:
"Unknown, I want you to come with me for a moment."
Adam was annoyed by that, but he did not think much about it.
Ibrahim took Unknown to a room so that Adam could not hear him,
then he said to him:
"Do not tell Adam what happened to you, at least not now. Don't forget you are kids after all, and you might slip up. You can only tell him about the book that I will give you."
Then Ibrahim gave Unknown the book that the sect master had given him,
and said to him: "Go."
Unknown understood why Ibrahim said that, so he nodded, then took the book and set off quickly,
but this time with quick steps, not running, toward Adam's place.
When Adam saw the book with Unknown, his eyes lit up with excitement, then he said:
"Do you know what happened to me?!!
I was looking at the side of the garden at my house, then a man and a young man appeared suddenly before my eyes. I was scared at first,
but they told me not to be afraid, and that I would understand in the future.
They said that you and I, Unknown, are disciples in a sect full of supernatural people,
they even told me that their members are not recruited by anyone,
their members have a distinctive mark, and if anyone from the sect is near them, they will know.
And guess what happened?
That mark was on us, me and you, that mark that distinguishes the sect members!"
Adam then began explaining what happened to him, and how they appeared and disappeared suddenly.
Unknown began to show enthusiasm because he learned new information from Adam's words.
First, it seems they are members of some sect.
Second, that he and Adam will become strong in the future.
According to what Adam said, it seems that everyone who joins the sect is very special.
Third, did you say, Adam, that they said we have supernatural abilities but we don't know them?!!
Correct, they told Adam that both Adam and Unknown have supernatural abilities but they don't know about them.
Adam nodded excitedly and said: "Yes!"
Then Adam remembered something and said to Unknown:
"They told us not to open the book until one of us reaches the path. Do you know what that is?"
When Unknown heard this question, he stammered a little before saying seriously:
"Adam, there are things I want to tell you, but right now I can't. When the right time comes, I will tell you. Okay?"
Adam was surprised by that. He was not surprised by Unknown's words or tone,
he was surrounded by many mysterious things.
Adam was surprised because his intuition began to appear strongly, and it seemed to say to him: "Remember that."
After feeling his intuition reacting with such strength, Adam decided to remember that,
and to ask Unknown from time to time about this thing he said.
After Adam made his decision, his intuition eased until he no longer felt it.
Both Adam and Unknown spent the day talking about these strange things,
then Adam decided to open the book he was told not to open now.
