The Unknown Path: A Call Beyond Reality

Chapter Twenty-Six –Sleep Is the Solution

After the voice of the mysterious person disappeared,

Unknown decided to lie down on the circle and look at the sky.

Unknown sighed and said: "I'm tired... all these strange things, superpowered people, and suffering from hunger and sickness for days... and this talk about path exploration or whatever. Man, he even said that Adam and I will go to another realm."

Unknown sighed again, then decided to sleep. Unknown said to himself that he would sleep—sleep is the best solution when you can't do anything.

This doesn't mean that Unknown is weak, but he needs some time to organize himself.

As for Ibrahim:

After the world around him finished transforming, it seemed like Ibrahim began to emit a strange feeling—especially his eyes, which shone with a very odd aura. Then he started acting like he was speaking to someone.

That strange feeling that was coming from Ibrahim disappeared, and his eyes returned to normal.

He began to think about what the man had told him, then said to himself:

– "Can't I just live a normal life?!!"

Then he looked at Unknown, and there was something strange in his eyes again—but this time, it came from Ibrahim himself.

Ibrahim shook his head, "No need to care about these things," then he lay on the circle and slept.

It seems like they have an agreement: the solution to things they can't handle is sleep.

Ibrahim said to himself, "Why should I care about this?" then drifted into sleep.

Unknown and Ibrahim woke up to the sunlight they had gotten used to—after suffering from it greatly in the past days.

Unknown looked at the water, and his awareness had not yet fully awakened. He said automatically:

– "Am I not dead yet? Well, if not now, then in a few hours."

He closed his eyes… then opened them again. This time, Unknown frowned.

He was fully awake now and remembered everything that had happened to him.

The first thing he did was check to make sure what had happened wasn't a dream.

He looked around and saw he could see land surrounding the lake from every direction.

Unknown breathed a sigh of relief,

Then shouted at the top of his lungs:

– "Finally, the suffering is over!"

Then came Ibrahim's loud reminder to Unknown:

Ibrahim shouted:

– "You mean: finally, the suffering has begun!"

Unknown was surprised by Ibrahim's loud voice, and since Ibrahim was close to him,

Unknown was startled and jumped back instinctively.

Then…

Splash

The sound of something hitting the water.

A few minutes later,

There was a funny scene of Unknown trying to get back on the circle again, but he couldn't do it.

Ibrahim looked at that and laughed loudly. Then Ibrahim said to himself:

– "So even you have moments like this."

Then Ibrahim heard Unknown complaining,

So he suggested that Unknown hold onto the circle while he used the paddles to move them back to their tent.

The rest of the day passed like this.

They arrived at their tent. Unknown changed his clothes and took a warm bath using the strange device that Ibrahim had brought.

Then they decided that the trip—which was supposed to be for rest—would end here.

They gathered their things and went to the car.

Hours later, they arrived home at sunset.

Ibrahim thought about everything that had happened to him,

Then looked at the sunset… he felt a sense of déjà vu.

But neither Ibrahim nor Unknown knew

That someone was watching their arrival… with eyes full of curiosity,

And a bit of urgency.

But when this person saw their current condition,

He decided that tomorrow would be a better day… for a proper conversation.
