The Strongest Eriri in History

Chapter 344: Falling into Madness

"So this is the Pirate World, huh? As expected, the sea is everywhere." Looking at the endless blue ocean stretching out before them, Elaina sighed in admiration.

"How beautiful," someone beside her also exclaimed.

Indeed, the scenery here was breathtaking.

Eriri and her group stood on the sandy beach at the edge of the uninhabited island. The island's center was covered in lush green forests, from which occasional beastly roars could be heard.

Flocks of seagulls flew across the sea in front of the island from time to time, their crisp cries echoing in the air.

If this were the modern world, a little development could easily turn this island into a prime tourist destination.

However, Eriri had no intention of staying on this uninhabited island for long. They didn't come here just to settle down on an island.

Turning to Sayuri beside her, she said, "Mom, take out the cruise ship we ordered earlier."

For this One Piece world trip, Eriri had specifically instructed Sayuri to commission one of the best shipbuilding companies in the world to create a luxurious cruise ship.

The cruise ship wasn't too big nor too small, with a total length of just over a hundred meters, a width of nearly thirty meters, and a height of about twenty meters.

While its size couldn't compare to the massive cruise ships of the modern world, in terms of luxury, this custom-made vessel far surpassed any other.

The ship was divided into four levels. The topmost level featured a large open-air swimming pool, with a kitchen and an outdoor dining hall nearby.

The middle two levels served as the residential area, containing a total of fifty luxurious rooms, more than enough to accommodate their group of just over forty people.

The lowest level was dedicated to entertainment, equipped with various facilities for gaming, watching movies, and exercising—everything one could need for leisure.

Most importantly, this ship lacked a control cabin and sails.

Once it was built, Eriri personally modified the ship to reinforce its defenses.

She also infused it with a trace of cosmic energy, allowing the vessel to move automatically without the need for traditional propulsion.

Upon hearing Eriri's instructions, Sayuri smiled and nodded before retrieving the white cruise ship from her storage ring and placing it on the sea in front of everyone.

The ship immediately sank about four to five meters into the water, leaving over ten meters of its hull floating above the surface.

"Alright, everyone, get on board! Our grand world tour is officially starting!" Eriri clapped her hands and announced with a smile.

Hearing Eriri's words, the group didn't hesitate. They all took off into the air and excitedly flew onto the cruise ship.

Soon, the group dispersed. Led by Elaina, a group of little girls eagerly began exploring the ship.

Before long, this steel cruise ship—completely out of place in the One Piece world—set sail on its journey.

...

On the vast, endless blue sea, a luxurious cruise ship was speeding forward at an incredible pace.

However, with no reference points around, the ship appeared to be floating motionless on the surface of the water.

Eriri, wearing sunglasses, was lying on a deck chair on the cruise ship's deck. On either side of her sat Athena and Ibiruai, both dressed in maid outfits, giving her a massage.

It was the second day since they had set sail from the uninhabited island.

Perhaps because the island was too remote, they had not encountered any ships throughout the entire day. The islands they came across were all deserted and barren.

However, Eriri did not feel bored because life on the cruise ship was not much different from life at the villa.

Moreover, whenever she had nothing to do, she would jump into the sea to play with the Sea Kings, occasionally capturing some fresh ingredients for a grand feast.

Life was quite enjoyable.

At that moment, a small blue-haired head suddenly emerged from the sea near the cruise ship. It was Myu, who had dived into the water to play earlier.

After glancing at the cruise ship, Myu quickly dived back into the water.

About ten seconds later, she resurfaced—this time much closer to the ship.

Suddenly, Myu shot out of the water entirely, holding a massive Sea King in her hands.

The Sea King had already lost all signs of life, evidently having been killed by Myu underwater.

Originally, Myu was just an ordinary young mermaid with only a Level 1, Stage 1 strength.

However, after living in the Saekano world for so long, her strength had increased to Level 3, making her comparable to an admiral in the One Piece world.

While this level of strength was considered the lowest within Eriri's household, it was more than enough to deal with Sea Kings effortlessly.

"Eriri-nee, look! I caught a really big fish!" Myu, holding the Sea King, flew excitedly above the deck, proudly showing off her catch.

Since the cruise ship was moving at high speed, Myu had to match its pace to stay airborne above the deck.

"Wow, Myu, you're amazing," Eriri said with a smile, taking off her sunglasses and praising her.

"We're going to have another feast later. Myu, take this fish to Aoi in the kitchen."

"Okay! Got it!" Myu happily nodded and immediately flew toward the kitchen with the massive Sea King in tow.

...

A few hours later, not far from Eriri's cruise ship, a wooden sailing ship about thirty meters long was slowly navigating the sea.

A large skull emblem was painted on the ship's sails, clearly marking it as a pirate ship.

Although the ship was not large, it was packed with nearly a hundred pirates, all of them male, each looking fierce and brutal.

It was mealtime, and the deck was bustling with activity. Laughter, shouting, and the sounds of clinking mugs filled the air, interspersed with vulgar jokes and crude remarks.

A middle-aged man in his forties with a face full of scars took a large gulp of alcohol and laughed heartily, saying to the crowd around him, "Haha! That little island we raided earlier didn't have much treasure, but the women there were quite something! I almost regret finishing them off so quickly—should've taken my time."

"It's indeed a bit of a pity, but keeping them alive would only waste our supplies. Besides, once we reach the next island, won't there be more women?" A burly, dark-skinned man beside him sneered wickedly.

As soon as he spoke, the surrounding pirates immediately responded with agreement, clearly sharing the same mindset.

This pirate crew was somewhat notorious in the East Blue, and the scar-faced middle-aged man was their captain. The dark-skinned man was his second-in-command.

Just five days ago, they had plundered a remote island, taking all the limited supplies it had and mercilessly slaughtering all the inhabitants. As for the women on the island, they suffered brutal abuse before being killed.

Such atrocities were common among most pirates in the One Piece world, who thrived on pillaging and slaughtering without remorse. Pirates like the Straw Hat crew were rare exceptions.

At that moment, a pirate holding a telescope excitedly ran over.

"Captain, we've spotted prey!"

Upon hearing the lookout's words, the pirates immediately stopped eating and drinking, their eyes lighting up like wolves spotting a flock of sheep.

"Haha! Talk about good timing! Boys, it's time to get to work!" the pirate captain shouted enthusiastically, his eyes gleaming with greed.

He didn't doubt his subordinate's report. Ships on the sea generally fell into three categories: pirate ships, navy warships, and merchant vessels.

If the ship ahead had been a pirate ship or a navy vessel, the lookout wouldn't have referred to it as "prey." This meant it had to be a merchant ship—prime pickings for their crew.

"Yeah!!"

Encouraged by their captain's words, the pirates' excitement soared.

After instructing the helmsman to speed up, the pirate captain took the telescope from the lookout and looked in the indicated direction.

However, upon seeing the "merchant ship" through the telescope, the captain was stunned.

"Huh? What kind of ship is this? No sails, yet it's moving on its own?"

Various questions filled his mind, but they were soon overshadowed by intense excitement.

What he was seeing was none other than the luxurious cruise ship carrying Eriri and her companions.

Their pirate ship happened to be positioned directly in the cruise ship's path. During the time the lookout had gone to report, the distance between the two vessels had significantly decreased.

Now, even without a telescope, the outline of the cruise ship was visible. Through the telescope, he could clearly see the ship's intricate design and luxurious appearance.

"This ship is too beautiful, and it's so unique! It's clearly meant for me. No, I can't let any damage come to it," the pirate captain said excitedly, as if he had already claimed the ship as his own.

He quickly lowered the telescope and loudly ordered his men, "Boys, don't use the cannons! We don't want to damage our future pirate ship. That merchant ship doesn't have any visible cannons, so we'll just board them directly!"

"The usual rule—capture the women alive, kill all the men!"

"Yeah!!!"

The bloodthirsty pirates roared in excitement, ready to unleash their savagery once again.

Unlike the pirates aboard the approaching ship who were preparing intensely for battle, Eriri and her companions continued to enjoy themselves on the cruise ship, as if they hadn't even noticed the pirate vessel.

In reality, Eriri had detected the pirate ship more than half an hour ago, long before it got close.

However, she simply chose to ignore it.

Just as she had initially thought, as long as the pirates of this world did not provoke them, she had no interest in dealing with them.

Eriri was no saint; she wouldn't go out of her way to eradicate pirates. If she wanted to, a mere thought could bring the Great Pirate Era to an end instantly.

Of course, if anyone dared to provoke them in the slightest, Eriri wouldn't hesitate to eliminate them all without leaving a single survivor—pirate ship included.

Unfortunately for those pirates, they had chosen the latter option.

"You all must have sensed the approaching pirate ship by now, right? Whoever wants to stretch their legs a bit, just go ahead and deal with them," Eriri said casually to the people around her.

"Me, me, me! I want to go!" As soon as Eriri finished speaking, Milim couldn't contain her excitement and raised her hand, her delicate face brimming with anticipation.

Most of the group had little interest in fighting, no longer eager to test their abilities through combat as they were when they first obtained their powers.

So, with Milim volunteering, no one else spoke up.

However, Jibril seemed somewhat interested. She had always had a bloodthirsty nature, and even after living with Eriri for so long, that hadn't changed. Eriri had never forced her to change, either.

Without hesitation, Jibril raised her hands and said in a sweet voice, "Master, master, I want to go too!"

"Of course, no problem. Anyone who wants to go can join in," Eriri said with a chuckle, gently stroking Jibril's wings.

"Yay!" Milim and Jibril nodded excitedly.

A few minutes later, the pirate ship was less than a kilometer away from Eriri's cruise ship.

The pirates could now clearly see their "prized merchant ship" with the naked eye. Its breathtaking exterior mesmerized them, and the fact that it was several times larger than their own vessel made them even more eager.

However, they still couldn't see what was inside the "merchant ship" or how many people were onboard, let alone the number of guards.

Just then, they noticed several figures appearing at the edge of the "merchant ship." Due to the distance, they couldn't make out their features clearly.

But if the naked eye couldn't see, a telescope could.

The pirate captain immediately raised his telescope and aimed it toward the figures on the ship.

However, when he finally saw their faces—especially the most dazzling figure standing in the center—he froze completely.

"So beautiful..." the pirate captain murmured under his breath.

The next second, his body began to tremble uncontrollably. Then, as if he had lost his mind, he burst into frenzied laughter.

Without warning, he drew his weapon and, still laughing hysterically, slashed at his crewmates around him.
