The Star Lord of Asgard

Chapter 14: Chapter 14: The Council of Elders of the Universe

At this moment, powerful beings across the universe convened a meeting.

"Asgard may have ceased its foreign wars, but their people remain incredibly active!" Ego expressed his dissatisfaction. As a member of the Council of Cosmic Elders, he hadn't encountered a race as infuriating as this in a long time. Those who called themselves Saints had disrupted several of his target planets.

"I must admit, this generation of Asgardians is exceptionally powerful! Besides Odin, who is at the Level God Father, their eldest prince also possesses formidable strength. The Saints, recently gaining fame in the universe, are said to be warriors under Della Odinson. Their prowess rivals the legendary Valkyrie legion!" Grandmaster commented casually.

As the overseer of the universe's largest arena, his planet hosted numerous warriors with extraordinary combat skills. He had certainly witnessed the Saints who ventured to various planets.

It was said they were Earth Constellation Saints. Among these warriors, he had undoubtedly seen them. Not exceptionally powerful, but their heightened senses and the robust physicality of the Aesir made them formidable competitors in the universe. In his arena, only a few champions could defeat a Saint.

Intrigued by the Saints, Grandmaster even met with an Earth Star Saint. According to him, his combat abilities were only average among the Saints, which made Grandmaster wary of Asgard's might. Odin, the king of Asgard, had a record of defeating Celestial members directly. Even among Level God Fathers, he was top-tier.

Fortunately, after the conflict with the Celestials, Odin declared an end to foreign wars. Otherwise, even the Cosmic Elder Council members might have united against them.

"I wanted to keep a Saint, but I fear Odin's wrath," the Collector admitted, fascinated by the Saints. He too had encountered one and was impressed by the Aesir's physical capabilities.

"It doesn't matter! Star-level civilizations have their representatives across the universe, not just Asgardians. They don't threaten our rule; they seem to be searching for something. They resemble treasure hunters, pursuing their interests with integrity. So, there's no need to worry," another member stated indifferently.

He had dealt with the Saints before. Despite their strength, they weren't ambitious, more akin to treasure hunters seeking something in the universe.

"Hmph! If those Saints destroy my seeds again, I'll eliminate them!" Ego's tone was icy. Since his birth, he hadn't faced setbacks, yet these self-righteous Saints had become a nuisance!

"It's not us who should be concerned, but the Asgardians. I've heard that those Saints accidentally clashed with a deity's envoy," another member mentioned gleefully.

He had recently learned that an Asgardian Saint had a run-in with a powerful god's envoy, angering the deity.

Just before Della departed Earth for Nidavellir...

"Still no news about unmanned dimensions. It's frustrating," Shaka lamented, having just returned from a fruitless search.

Years had passed since he left Asgard, tirelessly seeking information on unmanned dimensions. Yet, such news was scarce. On many planets, people were unaware of their existence.

"Who's there?" Shaka sensed an approach. The newcomer's strength rivaled Asgard's finest.

"My master has claimed this planet! Retreat, or face the consequences!" The intruder, clad in silver and obscured by a disc at his feet, exuded mystery.

"Oh? Who's your master, daring to challenge such a powerful civilization?" Shaka inquired, intrigued. The universe housed countless civilizations, but only a few rivaled this one.

Beneath him was a planet of the Shi'ar Empire, a dominant force with advanced civilization. The Shi'ar, known for their vengefulness, pursued offenders across galaxies. Few dared provoke them.

"It doesn't concern you! Leave, or perish!" The mysterious figure warned, ready to attack Shaka.

Sensing the animosity, Shaka grew serious. The adversary's power rivaled some Saints', indicating they couldn't negotiate.

Shaka scrutinized his opponent, opting to disengage. Anyone challenging the Shi'ar Empire was formidable; he wished to avoid trouble for Asgard.

Yet, as Shaka moved, the enigmatic figure launched an attack!

Shaka observed the foe's energy manipulation—a wave gathering in his hands, followed by a laser blast.

"Immovable King!" A golden sphere enveloped Shaka, nullifying the attack!

Realizing he couldn't escape, Shaka countered, "Subdue the Demon!" A golden torrent surged stronger than the previous assault!

"What!" The mysterious figure was shocked by Shaka's superior strength. As a divine envoy, he'd conquered many planets, rarely meeting equals.

The golden torrent swiftly reached the figure, yet his form rippled like water, allowing Shaka's attack to pass through, striking the ground with a roar!

"Huh?" Shaka noted the anomaly; the opponent could alter his form, achieving an elemental-like state.

"Interesting!" In his battles, Shaka had never faced such an opponent, sparking his curiosity. Power surged within him, igniting his microcosm, and his fighting spirit soared.
