The SSS Legendary Dragon Chose Me On Rebirth

Chapter 139: All units

None of them replied. Not Vacuse or Drenvar.

They stared at the Commander together, but they did not react. Instead, the Dragon Lord stood up and raised his hand. He reached out into empty space as if he were trying to grasp something, and his ring shone in answer.

A sword suddenly appeared in his hand. The sword was a thin longsword with red rust, as if it had been dipped in blood for most of its lifespan.

But what was astonishing about the blood was that, immediately upon appearing, it sent out pressure that weighed down on the surroundings. The pressure felt like small blades digging into their flesh, making everyone twitch.

Everyone knew instinctively that the sword was a dangerous weapon.

Drenvar looked at everyone calmly. "I am going to war. I will not force any of you to fight with me. But I will note how each and every one of you fights.

"I will reward you and punish you later, depending on how things turn out."

Then the Dragon Lord stepped back and repeated, "I am going to war."

Then he turned to leave.

The Commanders stood and bowed.

Vacuse and Skya followed behind the Dragon Lord. She gave him a nod, her face showing different emotions, but there was no outright hostility. It seemed she was still trying to guess what Vacuse's plan was for recommending her as the Commander of the Brigade.

Drenvar walked all the way to the battlement and stared at the armies in front of the Fortress. Red banners flapped in the air with the Dragon's imprint.

He had recalled all of his eighteen Commanders. Adding that to his Brigade, he had about ten thousand warriors, a combination of both Soulbearers and ordinary warriors.

They stood in different rows, the Soulbearers mostly acting like arrowheads to open up the opponent's defense, while the ordinary warriors brought up the rear.

But the burden of the fight would be on the Soulbearers, while warriors who were Force users would fight the opposing Force users.

Once the fight began, the Soulbearers would fight each other and everything would turn to chaos as everyone looked for opponents of their own rank to clash with.

"Ten thousand..." Vacuse murmured with a frown. "This is not enough to crush the Frexon, right? They have about fifteen thousand."

Drenvar finally looked at him, his eyes shining with a low light of delight. "Vacuse... after a long time, we Vorrakyn will wage the war that has been denied us for hundreds of years.

"We will destroy the Frexon today. My High Commander is coming here. What is fifteen thousand compared to the full force of the Dragons? For the first time in hundreds of years, we will absolutely bring the full force of the Dragons to bear!"

Vacuse smiled. "Are you going to lead the army, Dragon Lord?"

Drenvar nodded with a slight smile on his face. "I will fight!"

Frexon Sevrix, the Duke of Red Leaves, stared at Eldrin Sevrix with a smile. "I heard that Vacuse Vorrakyn is back in the Last Tooth Fortress. Things are about to get rowdy here."

Eldrin looked at his father, the Duke of Red Leaves, who sat at the head of the war table. "Father... you really regard this Dragon heir, eh?"

Frexon Sevrix smiled. "He is not bad. You know, I have followed his story since he was a child of six, when he killed his brothers and all of his other bastard siblings.

"And since he returned from his outpost training, he began scheming, and we have been clashing in our little plots. I really did not think that he would be able to pull off what he did with the Warbine.

"But the bastard Dragon did manage to twist like a slippery fish and turn things around for himself. From a glance, things did not work in his favor, but do you really think that Vacuse would return without having a plan in place?"

Eldrin Sevrix shifted and frowned. "Father... but what do you think he will be able to do? Right now, we have the overwhelming advantage in numbers. Even if we start fighting now without the other Dukes, do you think we will really lose?"

Frexon Sevrix frowned. "I do not know. But I am beginning to think that he has something planned. And from the look of it, there is not that much they could do.

"The Orcs will not come. The Emperor will not. No one is coming to save them. The Dukes are coming so that we can share the Vorrakyn together! No matter what they do, we will surely win!"

Eldrin nodded. "I think they are going to settle for surrendering to us."

Frexon Sevrix's face darkened slightly. "Yes. They will not dare to fight us...!!"

Just then, the sound of a horn blasted through the room, so strong it shook the metal tent they were all sitting in. Frexon stood up, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Are the Dukes here...?"

Booooooooom!

Another horn blast sounded, strong enough to shake the bones of almost all the humans present.

Duke Frexon's eyes constricted. "This is the war horn? The Vorrakyn are actually attacking us?"

Duke Frexon smiled and his body turned blurry with green light. He floated up into the air and looked at his son. "Eldrin. I am leaving you behind to handle things in the back. Drenvar must have bitten off more than he can chew, and this time, it will be the last thing he eats!"

With that, he shot through the tent like an arrow. The great shouting of the army already filled the air, different colored beams of weakening light flying through the sky as they began using magical communication artifacts.

"The Vorrakyn are attacking!"

"The Wing Brigade is leading the vanguard!"

"They are bringing the full force of their army!"

"The Dragon Lord himself is leading the attack!"

All of this met the ears of the Duke as he gazed calmly at his own army moving like little ants beneath him, red leaf flags flapping in the air.

The green light around Duke Frexon grew brighter, and within it, the image of a beast mantis appeared, merging with him into a complete form.

His eyes flashed.

"All units! Attack!"
