Chapter 5 : Dark Spark
Chapter 5
The chapter begins in the school battle arena. Night had fallen, and the cold air wrapped the place in silence. Sbyam stood next to Suero, then suddenly said in a low tone, "I have a date."
Suero raised his eyebrows in surprise and asked, bewildered, "A date?!"
Sbyam smiled without looking at him and added, "Goodbye." Then he turned and walked quietly toward the school gate. Suero kept staring at his back until he disappeared from sight, muttering in confusion, "Could he have a girlfriend?"

In the Misoya region, the bodies of giant monsters lay on the ground as if they were remnants of a fierce battle. The team stood examining the horrific scene, their faces filled with astonishment. Baysal said in amazement, "He killed them all by himself!"
Morio appeared behind them without making a sound and said coldly, "Let's go."
Kamio, shocked by what he saw, whispered, "This... is incredible."
Morio walked steadily through the battlefield, followed by the rest of the team, silent in the face of his mysterious power.

Inside a stone castle, the cold stones whispered the echoes of the past. Sbaylo stood in the middle of the dark hall, speaking to a mysterious man. With a steady and low voice, Sbaylo said, "I'll do it."
The man replied calmly, but his eyes held a hint of warning: "You don’t have to do this."
Sbaylo stared at the ground for a moment, then whispered confidently, "No... I’ll do it."
The man nodded in resignation, "As you wish."
Sbaylo turned and left the hall, his footsteps echoing in the emptiness behind him.

In a dimly lit classic café, Sbyam sat across from a girl named Resa. Both were eating in heavy silence. Suddenly, Resa broke the quiet, her voice trembling: "What's your problem?"
Sbyam lifted his cold gaze to her and said, "What do you mean?"
She lightly slammed the table with her hand and said with frustration, "I mean that I love you! Don’t you understand?"
Sbyam sighed as if a heavy burden weighed on his shoulders. Resa's annoyance grew, and she said, "What’s stopping you? Why won’t you respond?"
He answered her calmly, though his voice was filled with emotion: "Don’t you get it? I’m always surrounded by danger. One day... I won’t be able to protect you."
Resa laughed mockingly and said sarcastically, "Sbyam Brios won’t be able to protect me?"
He shot her a sharp look, but Resa didn’t back down. Instead, she smiled and said confidently, "I’ll live through the danger with you."
Sbyam remained silent, gazing at her with a look full of confusion. Suddenly, a bullet shattered the window at lightning speed, heading straight for Resa's head. The sound of breaking glass was followed by a dull thud. Resa fell from her chair instantly, her blood splattering everywhere, including on Sbyam’s stunned face.
The café patrons screamed in terror and fled, leaving the place in chaos. Sbyam sat motionless, staring at Resa's lifeless body on the ground, her blood covering his face. His lips trembled as he whispered faintly, "What?"
He rose with difficulty, his legs barely supporting him. His heart pounded violently as his eyes locked onto Resa’s dead body. He whispered, stammering, "Resa..."
A man appeared at the café door, holding a gun in his hand, grinning mockingly. "Sbyam Brios!"
Sbyam didn’t move, still gazing at Resa with a stunned and empty expression. The man laughed loudly and said, "Do you remember me, you fool? You didn’t kill me in the past... and that will be your downfall!.
At that moment, a terrifying black spark began to form around Sbyam’s body, glowing and swirling around him like a serpent. He slowly lifted his head, his eyes filled with murderous rage.
The man smirked, "You look scary!"
Sbyam responded in a low voice, but his tone carried a deadly promise: "Die."
Their eyes met; the man smirked, while Sbyam seethed with uncontrollable fury.

Back at the School of Magic, Suero was watching the news on television. The news anchor spoke with a worried tone: "The Misoya region has been completely destroyed due to the sorcerers. Residents are demanding that the government shut down the Sorcerer’s Organization."
Suero slammed his fist on the couch in frustration: "What is that girl babbling about? We didn’t destroy the area! Damn them! Is this the thanks we get for protecting them from the monsters?"
---
In the café, the ground beneath the man’s feet cracked from the force of impact. Sbyam hovered in the air, surrounded by the black spark that flared around him like fire. The man looked up at Sbyam with unease and said, "He... is the strongest sorcerer of this generation."
Sbyam surged forward with blinding speed toward the man and yelled, "Smart, you bastard!"
Smart laughed loudly and said, "Come on, let’s end this."
Sbyam darted forward at incredible speed, his hand reaching out toward Smart, a black spark shooting from it like an arrow from hell. But Smart vanished at the last second, leaving the spark to crash into the ground, causing a massive explosion.
Dust and smoke filled the air as journalists standing at a short distance watched the scene in horror. Their eyes reflected the glow of the devastating explosion, lighting up the sky as if it were daylight.
When the smoke cleared, Sbyam stood silently, the black spark gone from his body. Suddenly, Smart appeared behind him and tried to punch him, but Sbyam didn’t flinch. He slowly turned and gazed at Smart with eyes drenched in darkness.
Smart grinned and said, "Your technique works... but it won’t save you this time."
He attempted to attack again with his blinding speed, but was shocked by Sbyam’s disappearance before his fist could connect. He froze, his eyes scanning the sky, where he saw Sbyam descending toward him, the black spark flaring in his hand.
Smart vanished again, but this time Sbyam was behind him. He delivered a powerful punch that nearly shattered the ground beneath them, causing blood to gush from Smart’s face.
Sbyam spoke in a chillingly calm voice: "I’ve come for your death."
Smart looked at Sbyam in terror and said in fear, "I’ll kill you... I’ll win this time!"
Sbyam moved steadily toward Smart, his eyes devoid of mercy. "You killed her... now it’s your turn."
The black spark surrounded Sbyam's body once more, and he unleashed it toward Smart, who could only scream before being completely consumed. Smart’s body disintegrated, leaving nothing but ashes.
Sbyam turned away slowly, while the journalists stared at him as if witnessing a beast out of legends. Under the light of the moon, Sbyam walked away, leaving behind a heavy silence that filled the night, and the chapter ends.
