Chapter 110 Dad and Mom_2

This is a rare opportunity.

"Byron Star?" Field felt that Xu Mo seemed to have many secrets.

"Yes," Steve continued, "A few years ago, there was unrest on Byron Star, and we were invited by the Byron Star Federation Government to station there. We discovered an alien civilization in the deep sea of Byron Star, attempted to explore it, but failed. Later, Xu Mo seemed to have some kind of fortuitous encounter, successfully obtained the Deep Sea Civilization, and with it advanced technology. Because of this, Xu Mo established the Blue Star Energy Technology Group on Lucas Star, relying on the remnants of the civilization found in the deep sea."

Camp Star had known about this turmoil but hadn't immediately contacted Field. Instead, they checked a lot of information and after much hesitation, finally decided to be frank with Field and to form an alliance with him.

The reason was that Field was also going to investigate Xu Mo, and this matter couldn't be concealed; there was no need to hide it. Besides, they currently had no way of dealing with the Blue Star Energy Technology Group and had to rely on Field's power.

After listening to the other party, Field understood everything.

The Blue Star Energy Technology Group, founded by Xu Mo—he was not just a Princess Guard, he was the creator of the Blue Star Energy Technology Group. He had made connections with the Princess and given shares to various key figures, including members of the royal families of different planets.

Xu Mo, you've hidden yourself well!

Douglas wasn't wronged at all; compared to someone like Xu Mo, Douglas was clearly no match.

After their conversation, Field picked up his communicator and dialed a number.

"Mr. Field," a cold voice came from the other end of the communicator.

"General Gilson, there's a mission that needs to be arranged," Field said.

"Please speak, Mr. Field," Gilson responded. He was the fastest-promoted Major General on Lucas Star, and during this process, Field's family had put forth a lot of effort, and Field had been his superior officer in the past.

It could be said that Gilson was Field's man.

For this reason, when the Olay family from Austin Star targeted Blue Star Energy Technology, the final executor was Gilson; it was his subordinates that had made contact with the Olay family.

Field briefly explained the matters about Byron Star and the Blue Star Energy Technology Group, then said: "General Gilson, I need to trouble you to go to Byron Star to investigate the Deep Sea Civilization incident."

"Yes, Mr. Field," Gilson responded.

"I'll have the Ministry of Defense issue a document." Field finished speaking and hung up the communicator, his eyes revealing a contemplative expression.

Should he inform King Richard about this matter?

This incident would probably give Prince Charles and him a bad impression in the eyes of King Richard, and furthermore, with King Richard's methods, it was likely he would soon become aware of these matters.

With that thought, upon returning to the Federation Government Building, Field went directly to the hall where King Richard was.

"Your Majesty," Field bowed.

"Field, you're here." King Richard looked at Field with a smile as if nothing had happened.

"Your Majesty, I have a matter to report," Field said.

"Speak," King Richard said.

"I am sorry for the Douglas incident; this unrest was caused by my lack of strict discipline," Field said with his right hand on his chest in salute. "Regarding this incident, the Lucas University Librarian performed exceptionally well. I've heard some information, Xu Mo is from Byron Star, and he discovered an advanced alien civilization in the deep sea of Byron Star. With the technology of the alien civilization, he created the Blue Star Energy Technology Group."

"Wait!" King Richard interrupted Field, "You mean to say, the Blue Star Energy Technology Group is founded by Xu Mo, the Lucas University Librarian? And that CEO Ross, he's just a puppet?"

"Yes, Your Majesty," Field went on. "Not only that, Xu Mo has done many things. The battle of the machines that Princess Lune asked us to watch, where an Extraordinary Mechanic defeated Sterling—that Mechanic was also Xu Mo, and he serves as the Princess's guard."

King Richard looked at Field, sorted out his thoughts, and then said with a smile: "An impressive young man."

So, his beloved daughter is in love with Xu Mo?

No wonder she would be smitten with him; he truly is remarkable.

"Indeed," Field nodded, showing no objection to Xu Mo, although not long ago Xu Mo had ruined his son Douglas and had sent him to prison.

"Your Majesty, since this involves an advanced alien civilization, I have already dispatched the military to investigate the Deep Sea Civilization of Byron Star. Should anything be discovered, I await your Majesty's instructions on how to proceed," Field saluted.

He didn't handle this matter privately but reported it to King Richard because it involved Princess Elizabeth. After the Douglas incident, the King must already be displeased, and if he took action against the Princess's people on his own, the King would surely think he was seeking revenge.

That would probably complicate matters even more.

Although I really want to deal directly with Xu Mo, I must also consider King Richard's attitude.

King Richard looked up at Field, his eyes revealing no emotion, always with a faint smile on his face, he said, "Field, how do you want to handle this?"

"First, investigate the level of the Deep Sea Civilization on Byron Star. If the civilization level is high, see if Princess Elizabeth can talk with Xu Mo," Field said to King Richard.

King Richard nodded slightly; Field's suggestion was very sensible.

"Byron Star should be the Empire's number 7 star, but no one has paid attention to it anymore. I didn't expect a relic to be discovered there. Start the investigation," said King Richard.

"Yes, Your Majesty," Field said and then withdrew.

......

At Lucas University Library, Elizabeth noticed that Zero was watching her.

She also looked at Zero and saw hostility in her eyes.

Thinking of this, Elizabeth got annoyed again.

At that moment, the communicator vibrated. Elizabeth glanced at it and then connected, "Dad."

"What are you doing, Elizabeth?" King Richard's voice came through.

"I'm reading in the library," said Elizabeth.

"Oh," King Richard uttered a sound full of meaning. In the library, huh?

He understood.

"Is Xu Mo there as well?" King Richard asked.

"Ah?" Elizabeth was startled, glancing at Xu Mo across from her. How did her father know about Xu Mo?

"I've seen the conflict between Xu Mo and Douglas. The young man is very spirited," King Richard casually remarked.

Elizabeth grew nervous. It was just because of the Douglas incident that he knew about Xu Mo, right?

"Mhm," Elizabeth replied, "He's here."

Zero watched Elizabeth, noticing that her eyes were fixed on Xu Mo. So, she was talking about Xu Mo.

Zero: "???"

What did it matter to her dad whether Xu Mo was there or not?

"Bring him over to the house sometime for a visit. Let's have a meal together," King Richard said with a laugh.

Elizabeth was silent for a moment, taking a deep breath. It seemed that her dad knew everything.

She looked at the figure across from her. So, her father thought she was in a romantic relationship with Xu Mo?

"Okay," Elizabeth didn't know what else to say and could only reply noncommittally.

"Not bad taste," King Richard laughingly said, then he hung up the communicator.

After putting down the communicator, Elizabeth looked towards Xu Mo, her feelings complicated, unsure whether her father would think she had orchestrated this incident.

Xu Mo blinked, as if to say, him?

Zero watched Elizabeth, only hearing Elizabeth say to Xu Mo, "My dad has invited you to have dinner at our house."

"Sss..." Xu Mo drew in a breath of cold air, sneaking a glance at Zero beside him.

Zero's facial expression changed, and then anger appeared in her beautiful eyes.

"I must hold back," Zero thought to herself, looking at Xu Mo and saying, "Mom said you haven't been home for a long time."
