The Second Chance of Reincarnator

The crimson moon's light filtered through the curtains of the windows of a mansion and cast some light into the library.

With lantern in hand, Kael searched through the shelves, took some leather-bound books, and put them into a carry.

He had about four books in his carry—they held the knowledge of all the Pathways—and some were primarily about the Outlaw class.

After the loss in the Play Fight, he was going to stop kidding around and was going to put the knowledge forcefully into his brain.

Back on Earth, he wasn't much of a student and was quite low-ranked when it came to the exam rankings.

It was obvious that he wasn't going to be some kind of academic, but he wasn't the old Kael anymore.

With a lantern in one hand and the books in the other, he left the library and started heading back to his room with urgency in his step.

However, when he reached the stairs, he came to a stop as he heard some sounds coming from the hallway.

"Hmm?"

Kael looked over with a frown.

This floor was primarily dedicated to the classrooms, the library, and all other school-related activities. It was usually empty at this hour.

Ahh~ Ahh~

'That sounds like moans…'

Kael wryly smiled and knew what was going on

It sounded like some students, not wanting to get caught by others, went to the lower floors to have their fun without the danger of getting caught.

With how loud the moans were, they would've easily gotten caught if they did the deed on the housing floor, where the walls weren't thick enough.

It was clear that whoever was there didn't expect any of the students to come here at such a late hour.

'Well, have fun, I guess.'

As Kael was about to head back up the stairs, one of the classrooms suddenly opened, and Kael quickly hid behind the corner of the stairs.

Out of curiosity, he peered towards the end of the hallway and saw the two walk out of the classroom in disheveled clothes and with messy hair.

"See you later, okay?"

Miss Angelica, with a smile on her red lips, touched the collar of Jeff's to make sure it was straight.

With a slightly weak smile, Jeff nodded.

It looked like he had suffered an injury of some sort, as his face was pale, and he didn't look to be in perfect shape.

"Good boy~"

Miss Angelica said as she patted his head and then opened the hallway window before jumping out.

It was clear that she wasn't allowed to be inside the mansion beyond the school hours, and yet, here she was.

Jeff held his head, as if he wasn't feeling good, but he then shrugged his shoulders, thought it was nothing, and started heading out.

Kael thought to himself, and then, keeping his steps silent, he headed back to his room and closed the door behind him.

He put the books down on the desk, drew the curtains to keep the crimson light out, and put the lantern down on the desk.

'I should stop focusing on what I saw and start learning more about the Outlaw class and about other Pathways…'

With a flick of his wrist, he pulled out the black revolver, took the one rubber bullet out of its chamber, and placed it on the desk.

Before Willow bothered to ask him to return the rubber bullet over to her, he quickly left so that maybe she wouldn't remember.

It was because he also wanted to learn how to make the rubber bullet, and with him having one in his possession, maybe he could learn something from it.

'Outlaw Pathway…'

Kael took the first leather-bound book from the pile. It was about the Outlaw Pathway. And he then started reading through it.

'Outlaw Pathway is one of mystery, chaos, and mischief…

'It's commonly associated with the Stealth Pathway, and thought to be sibling Pathways…'

Kael read through the first pages, paying half-attention as he already knew everything said there, and only until he reached the tenth page did he find something more interesting.

'Outlaw Pathway's first abilities are Revolver, and Bulletcraft. While the revolver can be of different colors, it works similarly with everyone, and Bulletcraft is another basic ability.

'While the knowledge acquired tells the most basic versions of those skills, such as how to use them, it doesn't tell you how to master them.

'With Bulletcraft, it's possible to craft different kinds of bullets for every use.

'And with Revolver, it's part of you, and like with your fingers or eyes, you can also control its actions.

'The stronger Outlaws mostly control the Revolver to improve their accuracy. It's also possible to make the Revolver shoot faster, but that requires delicate control…'

Kael kept flipping through the pages.

'To craft unique bullets, just like with Mind Image, you must imagine how the bullet looks, how it feels to the touch, and how it feels to shoot it from the Revolver.
