The Rise of the Fallen Prodigy

Chapter 21: Experience the Eve

After an anxious wait, it was Liam Smith's turn.

The young man sitting in front of him did not lift his head, only looking at what he was recording there, and his voice was coldly: "What name?"

"Are all the pupils of the deaconry hall so defiant?" Liam Smith was slightly annoyed, but he was just thinking about it, and he said, "Liam Smith."

"Huh?" When the young man heard the word Liam Smith, he seemed a little unconvinced. He slowly looked up, glanced up and down at Liam Smith, and asked again, "What did you say your name was?"

"Liam Smith." Liam Smith looks impatient and does not want to give the youth face.

The young man did not seem to mind Liam Smith's somewhat unfriendly attitude, but continued to ask in surprise: "You have broken through to the Refined gas Realm?"

"What, according to this brother I should not break through?" Liam Smith raised his sword.

The young man sneered, "Oh, I didn't think you could even reach the Refined gas Realm."

The young man's naked mockery immediately provoked onlookers from the pupil around him.

"Who's that guy?" A pudgy pupil pointed at Liam Smith and asked a few of the pupils.

"Isn't he the Waste Liam Smith? "Sneered one of the pupil.

"Is he Liam Smith? I had only ever heard of such a Smith family member, but I didn't expect to see him alive today."

"I didn't know Liam Smith was so good-looking. It's a shame." One of the girls had a drooling pupil.

"This sister, you see that my elder brother is also a beautiful man with a long jade tree, a sword eyebrow and a star eye, and an end, would you consider me?" A ghast-looking young pupil who kept a harping pupil.

"Bah, you insult those two words by looking like you. Go back and look in the mirror."

"Brother, I am a master of Refined gas Realm Level Six. With me, you can guarantee that no one dares to bully you outside. Although Liam Smith is reasonably good-looking, he is a complete Waste.

"..."

"Yo, if it isn't Liam Smith, our Silvermoon Valley genius?" A voice rose high from the crowd.

The pupil in the square burst into laughter.

It's a voice Liam Smith knows all too well. Who else would it be if not Nathaniel Smith?

Sure enough, in another group not far away, Nathaniel Smith and Cyrus were walking toward them with a wicked smile on their faces.

"I didn't expect to meet you here." Nathaniel Smith says with a wry smile.

Liam Smith's face is still flat, and his voice is cold. "Nathaniel Smith, I don't have time for you."

Liam Smith then turned his head, ready to accept his assignment and leave.

But Nathaniel Smith doesn't seem to be giving him the time he needs. He jumps right in front of Liam Smith and smiles, "You don't have time. I have time."

Liam Smith's eyes narrowed, his voice a little colder, and he said, "Please get out of the way."

"Is that your way of asking?" Nathaniel Smith doesn't give a damn.

"Go away." Liam Smith's voice rose an octave, and suddenly the square was filled with his voice.

For a moment, the whole pupil of the deaconry hall was stunned. They had no idea Liam Smith had dared to say that to Nathaniel Smith.

At this moment, everyone seems to have passed through time and seen the boy who was hailed as a genius five years ago. The tone and manner was exactly the same as five years ago.

Nathaniel Smith and Cyrus, both of whom have bullied Liam Smith many times over the past five years, have not dared to talk like this, but today it is a surprise to everyone.

There was a chill in Nathaniel Smith's eyes as he recovered. It was humiliating for him to be berated in public by Liam Smith, a "family Waste".

This kind of thing is unbearable for the Smith, now a first-day teenager in the family.

There was no pupil laughing, but in Nathaniel Smith's eyes they were laughing at themselves, and the pupil was Liam Smith.

"How dare you talk to me like that?" Nathaniel Smith clenched his fist and clenched his teeth.

Liam Smith, apparently undeterred by Nathaniel Smith's expression, snorted, "Why wouldn't I?"

"Liam Smith, are you trolling us?" Cyrus was furious, too.

"You?" Liam Smith gave Cyrus a dismissive glance and said, "Not good enough."

Liam Smith's attitude caused Nathaniel Smith and Cyrus to become extremely angry, and they became very sullen, staring at Liam Smith as if he would eat him alive.

For a time, the scene was full of gunpowder, and it looked like a big fight.

Several young pupils of deaconry hall seemed to sense that something was wrong and quickly stepped forward to stop the pupil.

"What do you do? This is the deaconry hall. Line up."

The word deaconry hall still has a certain place in the heart of Smith familypupil, and some of the onlooker's pupil have stood up. No one wants to be punished by deaconry hall in order to "watch the play".

Nathaniel Smith did not move. His eyes were still fixed on Liam Smith.

One of the young people, a pupil who had learned Smith's identity, said slowly, "Elder Brother Smith, we're in deaconry hall. We'd better pupil patience, because it won't help anyone."

Cyrus is also afraid of deaconry hall, and pulls Nathaniel Smith's coat corner and whispers, "Nathaniel Smith, brother, is right. We will bear this evil temper for a moment, and we will demand ten times his payment."

After some persuasion, Nathaniel Smith's mood was slowly restored to normal, and his clasped hands were slowly loosened, and he angrily said to Liam Smith, "Liam Smith, I have written down the events of today."

"Even if you don't, I will." Liam Smith is cool.

Giving Liam Smith a dirty look, Nathaniel Smith says to Cyrus next to him, "Let's go." Then he led the way.

Cyrus left with a stern message: "You will regret your tough talk today."

Liam Smith gave him a look and smiled, "Idiot."

Knowing that he was only getting more annoyed, Cyrus pointed at Liam Smith and followed Nathaniel Smith with a flushed face.

Calm has returned to the deaconry hall, but the crowd is not calm at the moment, after Liam Smith's performance was too hard to remember.

Liam Smith's breakthrough into the Refined gas Realm is also a matter of speculation.

Liam Smith was not interested in listening to the boring discussion. He turned his eyes to the young man in front of him, and his voice said coldly, "Brother, can we continue?"

The young man was not aware of Liam Smith's question, and for a moment his speech was a little difficult: "Of course... Yes."

"Don't you know what my mission is?" Liam Smith gets right to the point.

"It depends on whether you're doing solo or team work."

"Solo mission." Liam Smith didn't hesitate.

The young man nodded and continued, "What realm is Liam Smith Cultivation in?"

"Refined gas Realm... First class." Liam Smith was going to say Refined gas Realm Level Two when he heard Alistair's words.

He said Refined gas Realm Level One. Liam Smith didn't know why, but he thought Alistair wouldn't hurt himself, so he changed it to Refined gas Realm Level One.

The young man took the book full of words in his hand and began to flip through it. After a moment, he seemed to find something and stopped writing it down.

Then he took two small pieces of paper out of the drawer of his desk and handed them to Liam Smith. "There are two tasks for you," he said, "and they are written down here. You only have one month to complete them."

Liam Smith doesn't rush to see the tasks in his hand, but tucks them into his arms and says, "I wonder if there are any other tasks?"

"Other tasks?" "Asked the young man with some surprise.

Liam Smith nodded and said, "I want to do more missions and earn more Soul crystal."

"So that's it." The young man showed understanding and asked, "How many more tasks does Liam Smith want?"

"I'm not used to doing family tasks for the first time, just give me three or four more." Liam Smith is calm.

"Three or four more?" "Said the young man with some surprise.

"Why, no more?" Liam Smith asks.

The young man shook his head and said, "Yes, there is, but are you sure you want to take three or four tasks?"

"Why, can't you?"

"I could, but..."

"Just give it to me." Liam Smith interrupted the young man.

The young man wanted to say more, but at last he thought it over, and bent his head again to find the task in the book.

Within a few breaths, the young man had found three more tasks for Liam Smith.

Liam Smith leaves the deaconry hall satisfied with his mission.

The young man looked at Liam Smith as he left, laughed dryly, and said to himself, "What a strange man. I've never seen a man ask so much for his first family assignment."

Back at the cottage, Liam Smith pulled out from his arms the five pieces of paper he had just picked up at deaconry hall, each with the five tasks.

First: Three Chiba grass plants.

Second: Two plants of The lark grass

Third: A Blood spirit ginseng

Fourth: kill heart grass two plants

Fifth: Blue steel jade catty

All five of these items are very common, and Liam Smith has seen them in books before, so they all have some understanding.

It doesn't look like five tasks are too hard.

"Master, a total of five tasks, is that enough?" Liam Smith hasn't forgotten to check with Alistair.

Alistair appeared directly in front of Liam Smith and said, "That's enough for now. I don't think anyone will suspect it for more than half a month."

"Half a month outside?" Liam Smith didn't understand why Alistair was suddenly saying this, but he didn't think much of it. Then he said, "Why did Master tell me to say I was a Refined gas Realm Level One?"

"If you say you're a Refined gas Realm Level Two, you'll probably have someone in the Smith family paying attention to you by now, and it won't be easy for us to do anything."

"That's true, but in this way, the difficulty of my family tasks is reduced, and it doesn't have much effect on me."

"Rest assured, these family tasks are just an excuse for you to leave the Smith family, and Master will have a plan when the time comes."

"Master has other plans?"

"You don't need to know that for the time being. Get a good night's rest and we'll leave tomorrow."

When Alistair refused to talk, Liam Smith took the note and went to bed to rest.

Alistair looked at Liam Smith with a creepy smile and thought to himself, "Get ready for hell, buddy."

Lying in bed, Liam Smith suddenly felt a chill down his back, couldn't help but give a shiver and tighten his quilt.
