Chapter 2862  Forfex's Planet and Minos' Mission

The mission Forfex had left for Minos was related to the belongings that Forfex himself had left with him at the end of the last phase of Devdar's inheritance. Minos was to hand over whatever was not useful to him to Forfex's people. In return, the soul fragment that Forfex had left behind would help him with something that was supposed to allow Gloria, Ruth, and Abby to enter the Upper Realm.

Unlike Minos, Abby, Gloria, and Ruth would not have direct access to the Upper Realm by becoming Celestials. He would become a Celestial and embark on the last phase of Devdar's inheritance, which, if he won, would grant him easy entry into the Upper Realm.

By securing Devdar's inheritance, Minos would not only be guaranteed passage, but everyone who shared lineage with him would be able to do the same, including his children, grandchildren, and even his grandparents.

Gloria, Ruth, and Abby, on the other hand, didn't share blood with Minos, and even with True Celestial body parts in their bodies, they would have to go through challenges they didn't even know about in order to gain such entry.

That was their situation until Minos entered Hell!

When they left Hell decades ago, Devdar had assured him that it would be possible to take Ruth and Gloria with the rest of his family to the Upper Realm. That's due to his connection to them through the Hell Crown. Yet, Abby would not be able to do the same.

Aware of this, Minos was very interested in what Forfex had left for him. According to Forfex, it could either help take people to the Upper Realm or even keep them away from it.

Forfex had tried to escape Devdar's inheritance for a long time for fear of one day facing Minos and ending up dead as a result. Consequently, he had attempted to find a method of escaping the inheritance. By the end of his life, he had judged it would not only fulfill his purpose but also do the opposite.

This was what Minos had understood from the request left by his old ally, which he had decided to fulfill as soon as he had the chance.

At the time after the end of the second phase of the inheritance, he had been too busy. He had the problems on Uzira and then had to deal with Hell. It all prevented him from following through with his promise until now. But with his escape from Qhava and the guarantee that at least one level 128 Devil would come after them before long, he was now following the last card he had to secure his family's future.

After just three days in his previously prepared hideout in Tanus, Minos was well enough to begin the journey away from the planet. He would still need weeks to finish recovering from the damage to his soul, but the group was already on the move.

With Abby stronger and the Hell Lifelings more efficient because of their master's strengthening, they only needed a week to make their way from the surface of this high-level planet to the nearby space station.

After just three days in his previously prepared hideout in Tanus, Minos was well enough to begin the journey away from the planet. He would still need weeks to finish recovering from the damage to his soul, but the group was already on the move.

With Abby stronger and the Hell Lifelings more efficient because of their master's strengthening, they only needed a week to make their way from the surface of this high-level planet to the nearby space station.

In the same place where they had left the crew of the spaceship they had used in recent years to get there, they set off in a hurry, ignoring local problems that their crew had encountered in their absence.

Four months after leaving Tanus, Minos' group was approaching Forfex's home planet. Everyone in the group was once again tense, imagining that they would run into trouble or trouble would soon find them.

This was particularly true for the crew members. They had suffered a lot since the start of the journey. Now, they wondered if the funds Minos had paid them so far were worth all the trouble they had been having.

They were still in one piece. But after years of traveling through areas of the universe frequented by Celestials, they had all seen and felt death pass close by and almost take them to Hell.

But they had signed agreements with aspiring Devils and could never leave their posts now. At most, they were hoping that Minos and his family would complete their objectives as quickly as possible so that they could return to Zocarro.

Zocarro remained in the plans of Minos and his wives. Every day they thought about their family and the rebels' war against the rulers of Uzira. As long as Mylecent won the conflict, they would have the two continents of Zocarro under their power. Then, the planet would be safe for their family to thrive, even when they entered the Upper Kingdom.

Minos knew that he would have the right to take his descendants and ascendants to the Upper Realm with his victory in the Devdar inheritance. But he didn't intend to take them immediately. His plan was to enter the Upper Realm first and see what life would be like for his people there. Only then would he open up the possibility for his relatives to go with him if they wanted to, of course.

Minos wasn't going to force anyone. Whoever wanted to explore the universe and earn their place in the Upper Realm on their own, he would leave those possibilities open.

Minos also had old promises that he intended to keep. The promise to deal with the descendants of Odibrand Redwound was still on his mind, as was the promise to the Divine Dragons of Zeta Draconis.

Not only that, he wished to see the Spiritual World with his own eyes one last time before fully engaging in the affairs of the Upper Realm.

For now, these were his wishes, things he knew would still take him a long time to achieve. But every step he currently took was toward that future. As he arrived in the vicinity of Forfex's birthplace, he knew this was an important step for him to achieve his most important desires!

Spotting the homeworld of his old ally in Devdar's inheritance in the distance, Minos told his women to get ready.

Now it was time for them to investigate the place and find out what Forfex had left for them. But at some point in this journey, they would have to return to Hell to take advantage of the chance he had seen that would show itself to them!
