The Return Of The Conqueror Of The Cosmos

Chapter 32: Chapter 32: A New Land, A New Purpose

"YOHOOOOOOOOOO!"

Shen Hao's younger brother leaned back in his airplane seat, arms crossed behind his head, grinning.

"Man, I still can't believe we're actually leaving China."

Shen Hao gave a slight smirk.

"Excited?"

His brother raised an eyebrow. "Kind of. I mean… it's Mexico. That's halfway across the world. A whole new vibe. Let's see what it's got."

Shen Hao nodded and leaned his head against the window, watching the clouds roll by. His thoughts weren't about food or culture — they were on the mission. But deep down, he couldn't deny it… things were falling into place.

They hadn't sold their home in China — they kept it as a side property, just in case. If anything happened, they'd still have somewhere familiar to return to. It was the safest choice.

Mo Han's voice echoed in his thoughts with a light chuckle.

"It seems like your path is being cleared for you. Even your family unknowingly helps guide your future."

Shen Hao didn't respond. He didn't believe in fate. But lately, too many things were lining up.

Their plane landed in Mexico City. As the doors opened and they stepped onto foreign ground, everything felt new — the heat, the language, the rhythm of the people.

A translator and relocation assistant, arranged beforehand, helped the family get through immigration, baggage, and temporary accommodation. They checked into a hotel downtown and started looking for a permanent home.

Over the next few days, they visited properties. After some searching, they found what they needed — a calm residential neighborhood on the outer edge of Mexico City. The area was peaceful, with occasional traffic, and surrounded by greenery. Their new home was a two-floor house with a small yard, solid construction, and modern utilities.

As the family began unpacking and settling in, Shen Hao noticed how naturally everyone was adapting.

His younger brother made friends online within days.

His older brother started preparing for school applications.

His mother was adjusting the kitchen layout with her usual precision.

And his father — now that was interesting.

Before leaving China, his father had worked as a Regional Operations Director in the National Research Department — a serious, high-level post.

Of course, resigning such a role wasn't easy. But he hadn't quit completely.

The National Research Department had international collaborations, and Mexico was one of the countries with a partnered Research Expansion Unit. Shen Hao's father used his reputation and experience to get a transfer offer, not the exact same role — but enough to stay active.

Now, his father was working remotely as a Technical Advisor to the Latin American division, while his paperwork for an official transfer went through.

It was a step down in title — but not in purpose. It allowed him to keep working while protecting his family, and slowly transition into the new system.

"This place isn't bad," Shen Hao's younger brother said, standing outside with a soda in hand.

"I mean, there's more sky here. Back in China it always felt crowded."

Shen Hao nodded quietly. But his mind had already begun moving elsewhere.

Even in this foreign land, he could feel the spiritual flow. It was subtle, layered, hidden beneath stone and silence. But it was real.

He spent his evenings in quiet observation — sensing the land, the energy, the pull.

Seven days passed.

One evening, under a quiet night sky, Shen Hao stood alone outside. His family was busy inside, laughing and eating dinner. But he stood still, eyes closed, breathing deep.

"Mo Han," he whispered.

"Yes?"

"It's been a week. Everyone's settled. I'm ready."

A small pause.

"Then it begins," Mo Han said calmly.

"Your path starts now. The artifact is waiting. You'll need to seek it out — and earn it. That's the only way to gain the freedom to travel the realms."

Shen Hao opened his eyes. He didn't know what dangers waited ahead. But he knew one thing for certain…

This land was not just a new home.

It was the beginning of his next evolution.
