The Nihilos: Trash Player Who Rewrote Reality

Chapter 43: Chapter 42 – Vessel War

The lab turned red.

Not from alarms. Not from emergency lights.

From divine signatures—radiating across every device, sensor, and line of code in EvoCore's underground data net. Systems began logging impossible readings. Mythological data, religious symbols, energy wavelengths that hadn't been measured since the creation of the simulation itself.

Kyra's fingers trembled as a screen burst with alerts:

> [WARNING: Celestial Energy Detected – Origin: Multiverse]

[Cross-Pantheon Disturbance – Signatures: ZEUS, THOR, HANUMAN, AMATERASU, ANUBIS, HEPHAESTUS…]

[Unknown Entity: Selection Protocol Engaged — Vessel Chosen]

Technicians gasped. Some fell out of chairs. One even screamed.

"Gods… actual gods… they're—fighting over the Proxy!"

Raven stumbled back as light poured out of the boy's body—pure, radiant light. The walls cracked. The ground buckled.

The boy's arms floated upward, eyes rolled back as divine sigils swirled through his chest like a vortex. But unlike a clean synchronization, this one was a war.

Every god wanted him.

Zeus's lightning cracked around his limbs. Thor's rune-forged armor shimmered behind his back. Hanuman's chant echoed in the room. Symbols of chaos, creation, destruction, war, wisdom—they overlapped like a glitch in heaven itself.

Ava whispered, "This is… beyond Class. It's not Nihilos anymore."

Then the light darkened—twisted.

One god won.

But no one knew who.

The boy floated gently back to the floor. All divine traces vanished.

His eyes opened again.

Still glowing white—but now something else was in there. Something old. Something that existed before code.

He smiled at Raven.

> "I don't know who I am. But they're calling me Vessel Alpha. And I remember... you."

Raven's hands clenched. Something cold passed down his spine.

> "Why me?"

The boy's eyes blinked once—and when they opened, he spoke in a voice that wasn't human.

> "Because you are the first error."

Across the world, sky fissures opened like cracks in the heavens. Only players could see them.

A new notification appeared globally.

> [NEW WORLD SYSTEM ALERT – "Divine Descent" Event Initiated]

[Players may now attempt to connect with celestial fragments via Dungeon-Temples]

[WARNING: Competing Vessel Detected — Raven-Class Threat Level Raised to Tier Ω]

Sol stared at the sky, confused.

Ava looked up and whispered:

> "Is Raven… being hunted now?"

In EvoCore HQ, Kyra was silent.

Then she laughed softly.

> "We didn't make gods. We just built the stage."

"The gods are coming"
