"Why did you walk by yourself late at night?" Says the police
"No reason, I just wanted to relax my mind"
"Did you tell anyone in the place you work at about you walking yourself back home?"
I tilted my head and thought about it and nodded
"Yes, my secretary and my work partner there"
The officer nodded and asked if anyone else was there
"Yes, few of my employees were there packing their things up to leave" I said, they continued investigating me. 20 minutes later they left and I saw Anaya come in. I asked her about the guy in curiosity being Embarassed and thankful about the situation and she said
"Oh him? He left when the police arrived, Thanks to him you're all alright" I thought about it and asked about what did he say and When did we come here.
"He said he took you to the hospital right after you fainted and took your phone to make a call, and as you put my number as the emergency one I got the call and ran here to the hospital fast enough, and you know what he stayed the whole night here, he's so kind" she said smiling and squeezing my hand gently. I nodded and time flew away, we were back home right in the evening and soon the next day as we got off work early we prepared good dinner and went to that guys house to invite him as a thanks giving.
"I'm so nervous" anaya said as I giggled at her behaviour, we rang the doorbell 3 times and on the 4th door swing opened, The guy was wearing a white shirt with wet messy hairs got us nervous for our Timing.
I stumbled on my words but indeed said
"Umm.. h-hi I wondered if you were free to have dinner with us? I wanted to thank you for helping me out" I said gently as he smiled a little and said
"no no it's fine It was my pleasure " my face dropped slowly but Anaya pleaded him for it as I also joined her
"Alright alright! i will be there" he smiled at our goofiness as Anaya and I smiled at him and walked off when suddenly he called us back
"Hey hey listen" he says as we turn back wanting for him to continue
"What's your name?" He asked looking at me
"My name is Anaya and she's Myra " says Anaya with a joyful voice as I nodded with a small smile on my face "what's yours?" I asked as he said "Hi, I am rehan" he said forwarding his hand for a handshake as I heart fully accepted.
30 minutes later
We were back at our home setting up the dining table as pretty and clean we could when the doorbell rang leaving us in weird excitement, Anaya nodded with a "I'll open it" smile and made a tiny run to open the door and when she did she saw Rehan with a basket of fruits in his hand as he smiled and handed it to her.
"Come in" says Anaya making space for him, he walked in looking around and asked
"Where is Myra?" He said looking at the living rooms decorations.
"uh she's in the kitchen" He nodded with her reply and soon Rehan, Myra and Anaya were in the living room.
"Hey I wanted to tell you something" Anaya says with a nervous expression
"Yes?" Says Rehan
"Actually we invited two of our friends too if you won't mind because we hardly get off work early and we don't get the time to spend it with our friends so... we thought of inviting them today" she says scratching her neck
"Ah that's good you guys don't have to ask me for that haha" he says smiling.
Anaya cleared her throat and asked "soo, When did you move in here? And why?" I poked her arm "stop being so nosy" I said with crunched eyebrows "haha no its fine, well I moved in here a week ago in search of work" he said smiling, we made a "oo" face and didn't mind asking futher not to nosy. That's when the doorbell rang and the two friends of us walked in.
I walked them in and started introducing them
"This is Haniya and this is Kabir" I said pointing towards the two shifting my finger towards Rehan I said "and this is Rehan the one who helped me that day" smiling.
They shook their hands and soon we were having our dinner, Cheers and laughters all together as Rehan's vibe matched with us in no time.
"What do you do for a living Rehan?" Asks Haniya, the girl with red shoulder length hairs and freckles on her pinkish cheeks with a fun, mother like personality said
"Well I was a Senior Manager in GE entertainment but soon resigned because of some rumours" he says in a soft voice.
"What rumours?" Asks Anaya
"The rumour was about me and The CEO's daughter being in a relationship which was not true"
We gasp and wanted him to continue as he did
"Well that girl liked me for a while and she proposed me but I rejected her so She got angry at me and Spread the rumours about us and soon I resigned because it also affected my work and health" he says playing with the food
We looked at him in pity as kabir, The one with brown hairs and Fair skin with a goofy yet mature personality says
"So what are you gonna do now?"
"I'm still looking for a job Right now, but I heard about SM entertainment so I thought of giving a interview there, I just hope that the ED there isn't strict" He laughed as our eyes grew big in happiness.
"Boy, you're so lucky" says the three
"Why?" Rehan says in confusion
"Myra is the ED of SM entertainment" they said in sync loudly leaving Rehan in shock as he looked at me, I nodded and smiled saying
"Don't worry! I will recommend a good position for you and indeed I will interview you" he held my hand in excitement and hugged me unconsciously making the other three have a shameless expression
"Thankyou thankyou thankyou so much" he said hugging me tighter as I laughed out loud hiding the fact that blood rushed through my body faster.
Soon a few more days passed and it was
3:33 am in the middle of the night...
