"The next day I was doing the laundry as it was holiday when Anaya ran into the bathroom squealing and jumping.
"MYRA, MYRAAA" she screamed in excitement and I looked at her with confusion and said "What?"
"I told you that day that their would be a guy moving onto our neighbour right? I saw him on the market today! We walked back together I mean... Not together but the same route. Do you know he is so so handsome? Long fluffy hairs, gentle looks and almond brown eyes and tall!!!!" she kept blabbering things out being a simp herself.
When I heard her describing him I felt that sudden uneasiness again but indeed drove that feeling of soon.
4:23 pm
I and anaya were walking towards the store to buy our needs and groceries. While on the way towards the road I saw a guy walking towards our direction, he wore a black chained hoodie, earphones on and his gaze was down. I couldn't see his face properly but when I looked away I could feel someones stare on me. When He disappeared from our side Anaya shook me goofily and said "that's the guy I was talking about! He's so handsome" I stared at her with a "What can I do with you" smile and we buyed our needs walking back home.
More days past by easily and fast because of the workload I had on me and it was Thursday in the evening, I was looking onto some files in my office with two employees infront of me all tensed up to see a review like expression on my face but not seeing any. I nodded and said "good enough but this two information should be corrected by the evening tomorrow." i said handing the files back to one of the employee as he obeyed and left, handing the other to another employee I asked her to review it carefully because it didn't look right. Another day passed by and I was walking back home late at night because the car we had was needed to be repaired and Anaya was on a business trip. I was walking by the lonely road not taking a taxi because I didn't wanted to, I sighed and massaged my shoulder when Suddenly I saw a car approaching me, I stared at the car approaching me when suddenly a man got down and walked towards me, I backed away from him searching for the pepper spray in my bag but couldn't find any. He had a knife in his hand which scared me out when another guy got out of the car with a long rough chain in his hand. I ran with my heels on as the two ran behind me, I didn't utter a sound due to shock, I looked back to see if they're still approaching me when suddenly I bumped onto someone's chest falling back. I opened my eyes gasping for air when I saw a familiar face infront of me. "Are you okay?" The guy infront of me said not recieving any reply from me he looked back to see two guys approaching us. "I will take care of it" he said hiding me behind him and all of a sudden I witnessed a fight infront of me, that kind man was beating those two creeps infront of me and he Looked skilled, I took the time to stare at his face and realised that's what Anaya described about our new neighbour. I was staring so deep onto him that I didn't realise that he was calling me, he shook me and said "miss? Are you okay?" i nodded hesitantly but eventually broke into tears of fear and unconsciously hugged him with the thought of him pushing me away but I felt him comforting me before Everything blacked out.
"Myra!?"
I heard a familiar voice calling me out as I slowly opened my eyes to see Anaya staring at me sobbing.
"Where am I?" I said in a rough dry voice
"You're finally awake" she said hugging me
"It's okay she was just scared and fainted due to sudden shock" I heard a female and turned to look at her to see a doctor walking inside the room with the same guy who helped me with her.
"Oh, you're awake" that guy says approaching me as the female doctor asked if I was okay.
"how do you feel right now" asked the doctor
"I feel okay" I said in a dry tone as Anaya offered me a glass of water, I tried my best to get up to drink some water but couldn't, that's when I suddenly felt someone supporting me to sit down, forcing my eyes to move I saw that guy helping me.
I thanked him and drank some water. I heard some footsteps and saw two police officers entering the room. I was in shock until that guy said
"I called them for investigation about the incident last night"
"What do you think was it a rober or?" Says anaya
"It can't be, If it was a rober they would have took her bag and ran away instead of approaching her with a knife, and not a guy dressed up like a well educated man with a mask on inside the car" says the guy leaving me in confusion and disturbed. Soon anaya and the guy left and the police investigated me.
"Can you tell us more about the incident last night?" Says the officer
"I was walking back home on my own when a black car approached my and.. and two guys got off it and walked towards me with a knife and another one with a sharp chain wrapped around his hand, I ran away and.. the two ran behind me" I said with a terrified voice
